The next morning Meredith and Tristan  woke up when the alarm went off.    They both get up. Meredith  puts on her jersey and jeans and Tristan puts on his suit.

"Did you pack for next week too?" Tristan asks.

"No I thought we were coming home?" Meredith  asks.

"Nope staying in DC tomorrow night practicing there and then flying to LA." Tristan  replies.

"Shit do I have time to quick pack?" Meredith  asks.

"Yes baby." Tristan  says kissing her head.

He helps her pack a few extra things and he grabs a few extra suits.   Meredith  made sure she threw their bathing suits in as well.

"Okay ready." Meredith  says.

"Okay baby."  Tristan  says.

He grabs the luggage and they head down stairs. The boys packed the kids luggage in the car so when Ruth was ready all they she had to do was get the kids and head to the airstrip. Everyone then piles into the car and Kris drives them to the arena. They park and head inside.    Tristan  and the boys head to the locker room and Meredith  and the girls head to the food court. They each grab a few things and some things for the plane later. They head back to the runway. They eat quickly while warm ups were going on. A little bit later the guys come off the ice.   Tristan  comes over to Meredith.

"Good luck baby." Meredith says.

"Thanks baby." Tristan  says.

"I love you so much, be careful." Meredith  says.

"Thanks baby. I love you more. " Tristan says.

They share a few quick kisses and then he lines up with the guys. The anthem is sung and the first period started.   It wasn't pretty at all.   They looked horrible.

"Wow did we forget how to hockey or something?" Madison asks.

"I know right.   We look like complete shit." Meredith replies.

"Worse then shit." Nadia says.

"And we have to play the Caps tomorrow." Taylor says.

"Yes and first place in on the line." Autumn says.

"Come on guys. "Anna says.

"I mean not even a minute in and Buffalo already scored." Madison says.

"I know poor Trist." Meredith says.

"Yeah he don't deserve this crap." Taylor says.

"No.    We need to get Dumo back so Kris don't have to play with Johnson. They don't mesh well together." Nadia says.

"No they don't. " Autumn says.

"Nope. I mean I know we are in first place but do they think that means they can just slack off?" Anna asks.

Buffalo scores a second goal and the girls groan. A few minutes later they score again and the girls groan again. The first period ended. After a brief intermission the second started. Both teams battled back and forth. Eleven minutes into the game Geno scores.

"Thank god there is one." Nadia says.

"Least it won't be a shut out." Madison says.

"Thanks to my husband." Anna says.

"That was a beauty." Autumn says.

"Yes it was." Meredith replies.

"Come on boys." Taylor says.

The second period ends and after another brief intermission the third period starts. Five minutes into it and Buffalo scores again.

"Jesus they are lighting us up like a freaking tree." Madison says.

"I know right. Poor Tristan." Nadia says.

"I know he don't deserve this." Meredith says.

"No he really don't." Taylor says.

"Man we look like heck." Autumn says.

"Yes we do." Anna says.

That was when Buffalo scored again. The girls groan. Towards the end of the game Geno scores again but it wasn't enough.   The Penguins lost 5-2.    The guys come off the ice.   The girls head to the bus. A little bit later the guys come out and board. They then head to the airstrip. And as promised Ruth met them there with the kids. They all board the plane. Once they were all on and they were cleared they take off for DC.

A little bit later they land in DC. They all get off the plane and head to the bus. From thee they head to the hotel. They check in and head up to the penthouse.    Meredith and Tristan  head back to their room with their luggage.

"We are going to do the zoo and then take a dinner cruise on the Potomac." Tristan  says.

"Okay baby." Meredith  says.

Tristan  heads into the bathroom and goes to get changed.   Meredith follows.

"Baby talk to me?" Meredith asks.

"I don't want to talk baby please leave it alone." Tristan says.

"Okay." Meredith says not wanting to fight.

"I love you for checking on my and but I don't want to fight with you okay and with the mood I am in if we start talking about it I might bite your head off and I don't want to do that. " Tristan  says kissing her forehead.

"Okay baby." Meredith  says.

They both get changed.     Tristan  grabs her hand linking their fingers as they walk out into the living room.    Meredith  and the girls build the kids a fort quick and then get them ready. When they were they head out to the zoo. It was a nice day and it wasn't really cold out so they walked the short distance. They head inside. The kids were excited.

"Aunt Meredith has never been here and she is going to love it because Panda's are her favorite animal and they have a big panda exhibit. "Micah says.

"Yes they do. Aunt Meredith you are going to love it. Uncle Tristan you might have to buy her a stuffed one. "Olivia says.

"Yes can play with them." Noelle says.

"I will have to look into that at the gift shop. And if they do we will do it." Tristan says.

"Aww young love." Madison says.

"Yes its the best." Nadia says.

"Yes it is." Taylor says.

"I agree. "Autumn says.

"Hell still young." Anna says.

"Kids were do you want to go?" Sid asks.

"Lets start at the begining and make are way through." Micah replies.

"That sounds like a good idea." Kris says.

"Yes so we can just follow the path." Olivia says.

"Smart kids." Justin and Jake both say.

"Yes they are. "Geno replies.

"Yes and I can pay to play with the Panda's." Tristan says.

They all nod their heads. They head off. They stop at the first area Amazonia. They walk through seeing different animals know from the Amazon rain forest. They also got some education about each animal they saw. They then saw American Bison on the way to the American Trail. There they saw Pelicans, Bald Eagles, Grey Wolves, Seals, sea lions, otters and ducks. They continue on to Asian Trail. Tristan paid for them to do the the panda exhibit.

"Red Panda's too." Micah says.

"He loves them." Olivia says.

They were able to play and bod with the Giant pandas and the red pandas. It was awesome.

"I love it. I love pandas." Meredith says.

"Well they just had a few baby cubs. They are up for adoption." The zoo keeper says.

"Can I get one please." Meredith says.

"Of course." Tristan says kissing her head.

The zoo keeper takes them back so they could see and pick out the one they wanted to adopt.

"Aww." The girls all say.

"Okay kids help me pick out the one to adopt." Meredith says.

The kids all looked them over. They found the perfect one.

"That is the only boy out of the litter." The zoo keeper says.

"Awww well his name is going to be Tristan. My nick name for my hubby is Tristan Bear so now he will really be a bear." Meredith says.

Tristan and Meredith filled out the paper work and they go and explore the rest of the exhibit. They then head on to see the Bird House, Cheetah Conservation station, Great Cats, Kids Farm, Primates, Reptiles, Small Mamal house, Smokey the bear and finaly Elephant trails. Sid paid for them all to get an elephant rides. It was fun. The girls had taken lots of pictures. They finish the zoo up and then head to the gift shop where they got a video and pictures from their experiences. They each get a few things there. Finally they head to the hotel room. The girls help Ruth get the kids ready for bed and laying in their fort with a movie and room service. The adults then head down to the car that was waiting for them. They all pile in and head to the District Wharf, where they were free to board..

"Since we are a little early lets grab a glass of wine for us girls and beer for you guys and head up to the deck.." Meredith says.

"That sounds like a good idea. We can watch the sun set." Nadia says.

"That sounds like a good idea." Madison replies.

"Let's do it." Taylor says.

"Yes come on." Autumn says.

"Actually the guys should get them and meet us up there so we can get a spot." Anna says.

"Yes get a spot and we will meet you up there." The guys say.

The girls head up to the deck and grab a spot against the railing. The guys then go and grab wine for the girls and beers from them. They then head out onto the deck finding the girls. They then grab couple pictures with the sun setting as their backdrop. They then head inside. They arrive in the dining room where they were seated at a table. The food was set out in selection of freshly prepared appetizers, salads, and entrees served at an all-you-can-eat buffet. They had their choice of Salads * Organic Mixed Field Greens * Organic Spinach & Kale Salad * Green Bean Salad * Kidney Bean, Black Bean & Chickpea Salad * Red Beetroot Salad * Bow Tie Pasta Salad Vegetable, Potatoes & Pasta * Roasted Broccoli Florets * Creamed Corn & Cheddar Cheese Casserole * Baked Ziti Pasta * Mashed Potatoes Entrées * Oven Baked Atlantic Flounder Filet * Honey & Sesame Chicken * Italian Beef Meatball * Braised Beef Short Ribs. They ate like kings and queens.

Once the sun goes down, they spot famous landmarks, including the Washington Monument and Woodrow Wilson Bridge, illuminated under the night sky as they cruise on by. They then enjoyed a variety of sweet treats for dessert, with a choice of Seasonal Fruit * Raspberry Mousse * Lemon Pound Cake & Fresh Strawberries * Coconut Vanilla Cake * Carrot Cake * Red Velvet & Chocolate Chip Brownie.

"Damn after all that amazing food I am ready to hit the dance floor to dance it off." Jake says.

"Me too." Justin says.

"Lets go boogie." Geno says.

"I am down. Grab our girls and lets hit the floor." Tristan says.

"Sounds good." Kris says.

"I am down." Sid says.

They grab the girls join the DJ on the dance floor to finish off the night. They dance until the end of the cruise. When it was done they head back to the car and head back to the hotel. They go up.     Meredith and Tristan head  to their room.    They go in and Tristan  gets ready for bed. Meredith presses his suit.    She then gets ready for bed and climbs in with Tristan .

"I love you baby and I am always so proud of you. Always your biggest supporter and cheerleader." Meredith  says.

"I know baby, thank you. I love you so much." Tristan  says kissing her head.

Meredith  kisses him.    Tristan  kisses back and they end up making love a few times before falling into a much needed sleep.
