"Wow Dario has a huge chip on his shoulder."
My brother Sean said as we entered the yacht.

"Ryan!"
"Hey, I'm so happy you came."
Dario said greetings us at the door.

"Yeah thanks for inviting us."
I said shaking his hand, Dario is a cool guy I have no beef with him once he stays clear from Aluna.

"Have you seen Alu.. I mean Selene?"
I asked remembering everyone knows her by Selene here.

"I think I saw her last on the front deck,"
He said looking at me with an awkward look on his face.

"Thanks."
I said making my way through the crowd towards the front deck which was even more crowded, every step I made I was stopped by people asking for pictures.
A  what felt like an hour but only a few minutes,
I made clear from them.

"Looking for someone?"
I heard a voice said, I turned around spotting her instantly, A gasp escaped my lips reminiscing on how beautiful she looks right now,
she was wearing a white dress, her hair loosely curled making her Latino features show up even more.

"Tired? I know because I haven't slept since yesterday,"
she said taking a deep breath.

I said holding her hand spinning her around.

She said looking at me from head to toe as she took a sip of her champagne.

"So when are you going tell your so called friend Dario that you're not interested in hotel managers."
I asked teasing her.

"Then what am I interested in?"
She ask.

I said bluntly as she gasp trying her hardest not to smile.

"You know I'm not like those other girls to just run into your arms as you command."
She said placing her hand on my shoulder fixing my shirt collar.

She said tilting her head smiling, I don't know why but her call me Mr Garcia hit differently.

"Now why would you say that?"
I asked tilting my head mimicking her.

"The first time we met you nearly crashed into my brand new sports car with your hummer remember."

"Of course I remember,"

I said making her roll her eyes at me.

"I don't know if you noticed but that moment was the beginning of something special,"

"Don't you have like 20 kids and ten baby mommas by now."
She said teasing me before finishing her drink.

I said pinching her in the cheek.

"Would you like me to get you another champagne?"
I asked as Sean and my other two friends approached us.

"Look who it is the runaway chef,"
My friend Cris said teasing Aluna.

"Very funny."
She said folding her arms looking at him.

"Well we are happy to see you because our boy here was..."

"Shut it..."
I said whispered loudly to him making everyone laugh.

Aluna POV

We stood them for a few minutes chatting not even realizing that the yacht was already sailing.

"I'll be back in a little bit, I have to use the washroom."
I whisper to Ryan before walking away.
I made my way through the crowd bumping into Dario who was with an old couple.

"Selene! I was just coming to find you, come meet my parents."
He said wrapping his arm around my shoulder pulling me into him.
My first instinct instantly went looking over at Ryan who was of course looking our way.
Just great.

"This is my mom Clair and my father Dominic, this is actually their yacht."
Dario said smiling and by the smell of his breath and the look of his face I instantly knew he was tipsy.

"It's nice meeting you,"
I said shaking their hands.

"She is beautiful Dario."
His mom said brushing her hands across my hair smiling.

"You are American?"
"I thought Dario said you're from France?"
His father asked as I removed his mother hand from my face.

"I was born in America then moved to France to pursue my career."
"If you excuse me I really need to use the washroom,"
I said walking away.
I headed straight into the ladies restroom closing the door behind me taking a deep breath shaking my head.
These people are unbelievable.
I quickly used the washroom. walking out to the corridor accidentally bumping into a someone making them drop their phone on the floor.

I said picking up the phone handing it to the person.

"It's okay accidents happen."

I instantly gasp recognizing the voice,
I quickly look up coming face to face with non other than my asshole ex fiancé Theo, the devil himself.

"Well isn't it my runaway bride?"
He said looking at me dead in the eyes.

I asked taking a step back.

"It's my birthday today, don't tell me you forgot your fiancé birthday?"
He said smiling.

I said placing my hand on his chest preventing him from coming closer to me.

"I did it because you decided to leave in the middle off planning our wedding and go to the US to work for a no good boxer who I know you cheated on me with."
He said removing my hand from his chest taking a step closer.

"Your narcissist behavior had you overthinking things."
I said taking a step back.

I asked taking another step back this time hitting the wall behind me.

"Well I was strolling trough instagram and I came across a picture Dario posted,"

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw you,
Theo said taking another step forward closing the distance between us.

I asked getting very uncomfortable by how close he was.
As he pressed against me I felt a hard object near his waist.

"Is that a gun?"

I heard a voice say my name cutting Theo off from finishing his sentence.
I looked to my left coming face to face with Sadie my best friend.

"Oh my god thank goodness you're okay, we were worried sick when you left, I thought you were dead or something."
She said walking towards me making Theo step back.

"And in return you decided to betray me and fuck my ex fiancé while we were still together."
I said looking at her.
