Chili/Tartali

Childe was one of the most terrifying and violent people at school. He also went by the name Tartaglia but very few people knew his real name. His name was Ajax and the only student other than his friends that would know it would be Zhongli. He was the boy Childe had been in love with for ages.

He had joined the student council just so he could see Zhongli more. Childe was in charge of the finances. One of his jobs included coming up with idea for fundraising. However, he had never once come up with or implemented a single idea. The reason he still had his job was because he relied on a mysterious donor.

The donor's name was Tartaglia. Anyone with a brain knew that this was actually Childe. He never kept it a secret. The teachers were still oblivious. In some ways this was beneficial but it didn't really matter since he didn't care.

Zhongli thought that it was a smart idea which was the only thing he cared about. Originally, Childe had done it because he didn't actually want to do his job. When Zhongli found out about it he had approached him simply to compliment him. He had also told him not to spend too much of his money.

The thing is Childe is filthy rich. The impressive amount of money he donates a month is like nothing to him. The total amount of money he donates a year is scary. The school had never been better. It had improved a large amount in only a few months. Once construction was finished it was like it was brand new.

Zhongli seemed impressed and somewhat proud which made Childe happy and even more in love. A bonus was that all the noble and rich families were amazed including Zhongli's. When they were visiting the new and improved school they commented to their son that Childe was a fine young man. This could mean future blessing for their romantic relationship.

Not that Childe thought that Zhongli would ever feel that way about him. After all, everyone knew that he was in more fights than he could count on his fingers, toes and even other body parts. It was a known fact that he loved fighting, that he craved it. Who would ever love someone like that?

Certainly not someone as respectable and polite as Zhongli. He was nice and listened to what everyone had to say. He gave out excellent advice like it was nothing and was always so modest about it. He helped whoever required it. One day he would be a fine businessman although he does need to improve his money management skills.

Childe loved flaws like this that Zhongli had but he would never call them that. He loved how he was nice and respectful to everyone except Venti. He loved the refined way he talked even though others said it's difficult to understand. He loved the way he could suddenly become daring and even dangerous. He loved him.

Just thinking about him made his heart beat, his face redden and butterflies flutter in his stomach like there was no tomorrow. A smile appeared on Childe's face without him realising. It looked kind of mad when his eye was bruised and his nose was bleeding.

That's just what happened when you teased Scaramouche a little too much. He was small but he could pack quite a punch. He was smart too and could easily work around his height to give a killing blow to Childe's face. He stood on tables as well as chairs and even kicked his shins to make him bend over.

Childe had been prepared to fight back. Why would he miss this perfect opportunity to battle a formidable opponent? However, a teacher had appeared and if they were caught fighting again they'd be suspended. Zhongli would be disappointed in him. As much as he loved fighting he loved Zhongli more.

Childe turned a corner to see the very guy he simped for. He froze for a second. He didn't want Zhongli to see him like this so he made to turn around. Before he could he was spotted.

"Childe!" Zhongli ran over with his face full of worry, "What happened?"

"Ah, Zhongli it's nothing. Just a little fight with Scaramouche. It happens a lot so there's no reason to worry."

"Friends don't beat each other up."

It was clear that Zhongli didn't like Scaramouche. He didn't like anyone that hurt his friend. Childe hurt a lot of people physically (never mentally) so it was a bit hypocritical of him but he didn't care. He cared about the ginger not the people he beat up. He did wish that he'd do that less though.

Childe was surprised to see such an angry expression on Zhongli's face. It was gone quickly though, replaced with concern. He blushed and looked briefly at the ground.

"Well I did rile him up so maybe I deserve it."

"Nonsense. Come with me, I will help you."

"No, you don't have to do that. Class is about to start so you'll be late if you help me."

"It does not matter. The nurse is away so I can treat you."

Zhongli grabbed Childe's hand and led him to the nurse's office. They walked quickly and were there in no time. Zhongli made Childe sit down on the bed. He then bent down and cupped his cheeks, gently as to not hurt him, so he could examine his face.

Next, he cleaned all the blood off and made sure that his nose wasn't bleeding still. He went to the freezer and grabbed him some ice to put on his bruise. He wasn't sure if it would help much though. "I'm sorry but this is the best I can do."

"No it's fine really," Childe blushed.

"Are you sick?" Zhongli asked as he sat down next to the boy and pressed their foreheads together.

"I'M FINE."

"Are you sure? Your face is very red."

"I'm just, uh... hot!"

It wasn't hot at all seeing that it was winter. Zhongli didn't press anymore. Instead, he hid a smile as his cheeks reddened the slightest amount. Childe, in a somewhat panicky state, was looking in the opposite direction so he didn't notice.

"Uh, so why is the nurse away? I thought someone would have to be here at all times," Childe attempted to make conversation.

"There was an incident so it had to be dealt with. Supposedly, someone broke their arm and was making a big fuss about it. For some reason she insisted on not calling the ambulance hence why the nurse had to go out."

Childe stood up, "Well, I'll be going then!"

His face was still very red. He turned to Zhongli as he said, "Goodbye and thank you!"

"Goodbye, Childe."

Zhongli watched him leave with a smile on his face.
