Your first destination after getting out of National City had been Switzerland to visit some of your family that still lived there.

On your visit, you had ended up meeting Sasha. The two of you had an instant connection but your time with her was short. Your brake up with Lena was still fresh on your mind and you were just looking to forget about her. She didn't deserve the fact that you were using her to get Lena out of your mind so you ended things with her.

She knew what she was walking into when you met her so she had been very understanding about the brake up. With no other reason to stay with Switzerland, you left to Japan.

With the help of a close friend, you had an easy transition to move out of National City and to Japan. Where you had managed to find the simple life that you had wanted before you started dating Lena.

You were a simple person, you had come from nothing and so it was only natural for you to want to live a simple life. When you started dating Lena, you knew that simple life was out of the cards. Gale here, meeting there and stuff that never allowed the two of you a moment of privacy. But not once did you complain, that was Lena's life and you loved her.

Living in Japan had allowed you to live that simple life you wanted. You lived in the coast where you became a fisherwoman. Life as a fisherman was hard but you wouldn't have it any other way. You learned different lessons and faced challenges that you were always happy to accept.

In the coast, you were able to meet many different women but no one could compare to Lena. You tried so hard to get her out of your mind but it was impossible to do so even after the fact that you had broken up months ago.

The only person who knew where you were had been Sam. She was the only one that was able to keep a secret from Lena. Alex and Kara would have spilled the moment Lena had asked about you.

You had learned from Sam that your kids had been wanting to contact you but you knew that it couldn't be possible. They had tried to figure out where you lived but you knew that it was best for them to not know where you were. It hurt to be away from them so you would often ask Sam to update you about their lives.

Money wasn't a problem despite the fact that you had donated half of it away. You still had enough to last you until you died so you never worried about running out of money.

Living in a new country wasn't easy. Something you wanted to go back and fix everything with Lena and your kids but you knew that it wasn't a good idea. Lena had cheated on you and the kids hated you. Going back would just make things worse for everyone. All you could do was force yourself to not look back and move on.
