Hi I'm Melody Triton, one of the princesses to all mermaids of the ocean. Today me and my sisters are going to go to the surface and explore the human world, thanks to our mom. She hasn't been to the surface in 22 years. She said she met a man named Billy Black once, but she had to leave him or else she would have lost her mermaid side. Mermaids can become human and grow legs when we reach the surface world. But if we stay on land for over a year, then we will lose the ability to become mermaids again, along with whatever powers we have.

Yeah, my sisters and I have powers. Two each. We can all bend water and with the water heal ourselves and anyone else. But we each have our own unique power. Serena can talk to animals. Delphina can change her appearance. She can change her eyes and hair color and she can even change herself into anyone. She once changed into me to cover for me when I was out late watching Jacob on land. As for me, I can also bend ice and snow. Cool huh? :)

Anyways, I'm mostly going to the surface to meet a human boy that I've been watching for three years. He's a werewolf now and he's changed A LOT. When I first saw him after he changed, I couldn't stop staring, I felt myself drool at his body. No merman alive has abs like his. I hope to become friends with Jacob. But to tell you the truth I actually have a crush on him.

I better go. Got to get ready to see the human world. And I hope to meet Jacob.
