It's the first day of a new school, I finally get out of my last annoying school that was severely homophobic. But what could they do? It was a private Christian school.

"Y/N, you're going to miss the bus," My mom calls and I quickly get dressed. I grab a cup of orange juice, kiss my mom on the cheek, and run out the door. 

Once I'm on the bus I pull out my phone because I feel it buzzing. It's a message from my best friend Jean. He and I have been close friends since 5th grade. He is kind of a big deal with girls so he is probably texting me about his new girlfriend. 

"Hey weirdo,"-Jean

"Hey dummy, What's up?"-Y/N

"Guess who is at our school with us this year?"-Jean 

"who?"-Y/N 

"Miss Ymir Demon from 6th grade"-Jean

"Wait really? ew"-Y/N

"Yeah get here soon so I can hide"-Jean

"Yes sir lol"-Y/N

the bus pulls up to the school so I put my phone away and get off. As I walk into the school I think about Ymir. Her and I were enemies in 6th grade mostly because we went after the same girl. She was also annoying which also played a big factor. 

"Y/N, finally," I hear and turn around to see Jean standing nervously. "What's wrong?" I ask and he pulls me into a classroom. "My ex is here, how am I supposed to functionnnn," Jean says and I laugh. "Dude just ignore her, she can't be that obsessed," I tell him and he shakes his head. "No, you don't understand...she is crazy," Jean says and I laugh at his scared expression. I pat him on the back and say, "Good luck." He frowns and crosses his arms in an exaggerated manner. "You're not very helpful," He says. I smile at him and stick out my tongue. 

Just then the bell rings and I say goodbye to Jean with a hug. I walk to my class and greet the teacher. "You must be our new student, I'm Mr. Erwin Smith." The teacher says and I smile and shake his hand. "Stay up at the board until everyone comes in and I'll find you a group," Mr. Smith says. 

Kids come piling in and I notice one girl...Ymir. Why? Why does fate do this to me?

"Alright everyone, this is our new student Y/N. She needs to find a group so which one of our groups has only 3 members?" Mr. Smith says and a girl's hand goes up. "Our group only has 3 sir," She says and Mr. Smith motions me to sit down there. 

I sit down and the girl smiles at me as Mr. Smith starts to teach. "Hi, I'm Sasha Braus, nice to meet you Y/N." She says. "I'm Y/N Leonhart," I say and she giggles. "Your sister is so cool," Sasha says. "Yeah, I get that a lot," I say and turn my attention towards the board. 

I notice Ymir looking at me and we make eye contact. She smirks for some reason then looks away. Does she remember me?
