Kellin's POV

"Hey Vic?" I nudged him a little.
"Yea Sunshine?" He said in a groggy voice. It was 12 in the afternoon and we had been laying in bed doing nothing but dozing off and cuddling all day. The staff had the day off and Vic said he just wanted to spend the day with me. So here we were. I was straddling him and laying on his chest, our feet intertwined, while one of his hands held me loosely and the other one was playing with my hair.
"I really like you." I said quietly and looked up at Vic from my place on his chest to see him smile.
"I really like you too." He said back just as quietly. "Speaking of such things I got you a really cheesy gift." He said.

I sat up on his hips and splayed my fingers across his chest.
"What would that be?"
"Well if you'll move your sexy lil butt off of my lap I'll go get it." He laughed. I sighed dramatically and flopped to the side of the bed, allowing Vic the freedom to move. He hopped up from the bed and walked over to his closet. He reached up and pulled a small white box from the top shelf.

By this time I had sat up on the bed and was eagerly awaiting whatever was inside that small box. He came over and sat in front of me, holding the box in his hands. nervously.
"So you may not like this but I just thought it was cute and it made sense in my mind and you have no idea how hard it was to find the charm and I just ho-" I leaned forward and kissed his lips gently.
"Vic baby calm down. I'm sure I'll love whatever it is." He nodded and took a deep breath before opening the box.

Inside was a silver necklace. It had a dainty chain and the little charm that hung on the bottom made my heart skip a beat. It was a small sun.
"See you're my sunshine and," he pulled out another chain just like the one I had but this one had a small hammer hanging from it and as odd as it was it was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. "And I'm your handy man." I glanced at the two necklaces before tackling Vic on to the bed.
"You're the best." I said and repeatedly kissed his face. "Now please latch this." I turned so my back was facing him and held my longish hair up. He took the chain form me and latched it before placing a soft kiss on my neck. I turned back around and held out my hand for his own necklace. He turned and let me latch it before I engulfed him in a hug and held on tightly.

"Thank you so much."
"No need to thank me cutie, you're worth it all." He said causing me to smile widely. I was speechless at the moment. No one had ever given me something so perfect and I was on cloud nine. The day had been perfect and all I wanted to do was stay with Vic forever. It's been a while since I had truly liked someone. Vic was growing on me, but I still didn't want to rush things. I wanted to see how this summer went and then go from there. Right now though, things were looking great.

"Anything in particular you wanna do sunshine?" Vic asked as he kept running his fingers through my hair. I smiled as I thought of the perfect thing for us to do.
"I want you to sing to me." I said and have him a shy smile.
"Only if you help with the harmonies." He bargained.
"I sound like a dying whale." I told him and he just chuckled.
"I'll be the judge of that. Now reach over in the night stand and grab that black book while I get my guitar." I nodded and grabbed the black journal looking book and sat back down on the bed cross legged.

"Now besides my Mom you're gonna be one of the only people to ever see this okay." I nodded excitedly and he gestured for me to open the book. I flipped through the pages slowly. They were filled with melodies and lyrics. Each one seemed personal and I could tell Vic really put a lot into what he writes. I glanced at him as I looked through the pages and he seemed really nervous, just like earlier when he gave me the necklace.

"Vic these are all beautiful."
"They're still not perfect. They all have so much work that needs to be done but they're good starters for now."
"Vic I mean it, these are really really good. They don't need a thing changed." I finally got to the last song in the book, it was dated a little over a week ago. I smiled at the title and looked up at Vic.

"You wanna do that one?" He asked me and I nodded. "Okay so just jump in whenever you want to okay?" He said and I nodded once again, almost bouncing out of my seat because I was so excited to hear Vic sing again. He started playing and pretty soon that voice I was seeming to fall in love with made my heard skip a beat as he started singing.

"Oh god don't let me be the only one
who says" I joined in on this bit and I saw Vic's face brighten, which only caused me to push myself to sing the best I could, with what little ability I had.

"No at the top of our lungs

when second chances won't leave you alone
then there's faith in love." We sung together. I stopped after the chorus and blushed as I saw Vic smiling at me as he sung with more enthusiasm than before. I joined in the chorus again and a few other parts until the song was over and I was staring at Vic with a blush coating my cheeks.

"Kellin that was amazing." He said and I covered my face.
"It was horrible."
"No. No it was not. Kellin your voice is like magic. It put a spell on me." I looked up at him unbelievably, slightly rolling my eyes at the small joke he tried. Cheesy as it was it still put a smile on my face.
"Enough about me. Tell me what the song was about?" I said and gently moved his guitar from his hands so I could take its spot.
"You." He said simply.
"You wrote a song for me?" I said alarmed and sat up in his lap.
"Of course baby." He laughed. "The only reason it had 'her' in it is because if I ever san-"
"I understand that but why would you write a song for me?"
"Because you mean so much to me Kellin. So so much. More than you'll ever know. You're my whole world right now and I want it to stay that way."
"I don't know what to say." My Heart and brain was racing and I could barely formulate a complete sentence.

"Don't say anything. Just please let me kiss you." He said and I pulled his face towards mine. Locking our lips in a kiss that made me lightheaded. Everything was perfect and I wanted it to stay that way.
