Okay I can easily write 900 words for a chapter on Wattpad but when it comes to my essay for my college application I stumped. There's three essay topics and the only one I can really write about is the one where I tell what makes me unique but the thing is I'm not unique and I can't write about myself worth crap. Please send help. Ughhh. Im also extremely nervous about it. Like I'm trying to get into my dream school and yea I've got good grades and I'm a good student and such but I still have my doubts ya know? Like I was filling out the application and such and it was asking about my extracurricular activities and like I would love to put that im in clubs or something but I'm not because my Dad never let me so that's gonna hurt. It's just really stressing me out. I have other schools I'm applying to incase this one doesn't work out but I really want it to. I've wanted to go since I was like a small child and shewww my nerves are through the roof.

Also another small rant like I'm in AP government and there's only six of us in the class, seven including the teacher, and like half of them plus the teacher look at me like I'm not supposed to be there. It's the first week give me a break like honestly. I deserve to be there just as much as their stuck up snobby nosed asses and it's making me mad. Just because I'm quiet and don't do well joining in on conversations doesn't mean I'm dumb. It's freaking ridiculous.

Idek guys, maybe I'm overreacting who knows because I don't. I just want everything to go to plan but knowing my luck it won't. Sorry for the long authors note guys, just wanted to rant. Anyway enjoy the chapter lovelies😘

Kellin's POV

No one said anything to Jake and after a few minutes of silence Mrs. Fuentes busted out laughing. Jake stared at her confused and then pretty soon everyone was laughing along with her.
"That's not something you need to know right now." Mike said after he caught his breath.
"But Kellin and Uncle Vic know! Why can't I?" He crossed his arms.
"You just can't buddy." Vic chuckled. Jake pouted and jumped off of my lap.
"Since everyone's keeping secrets I'm gonna go play outside." He stated sassily.
"Don't go near the road!" Mike yelled after him. "Don't talk to stranger! Better yet, I'm coming with you!" He ran after his child and we all chuckled at him.

I sat back on the couch and before I knew it Vic and I were saying our goodbyes. Mama Fuentes sent me home with loads of food and an open invitation to come back anytime I wanted to. I got hugs from everyone and after promising Jake at least seven times that I would come back and see him he let go. They all done the typical family thing and stood on the porch waving as we drove away.

"That was the best time I've ever had." I told Vic. He took my hand and brought it up to his lips, kissing it softly.
"I'm glad baby." I intertwined our fingers and we drove in silence. Once we got to my house I tried my best to just go around the back so I could spend more time with Vic but, of course that couldn't happen.

"Kellin!" I heard my Mother yell from the front porch. "Where have you been? I needed you for an important lunch today." She yelled and stormed off the porch. I quickly handed Vic all the food and nodded at him to go on. "Why are you with the help?" She said and stared disapprovingly at Vic's retreating figure.
"Nothing to worry about."
"Well mister you better get your act together. One of the reasons we want you home of the summer is so the companies joining your father with see what a spectacular family we have." She grabbed me by the ear and started pulling me towards the house.

"Oww!"
"Shut up. Now I have a dinner planned for six, you better be dressed and ready by five thirty. It's four now so go!" She demanded once we got to the door. I just nodded my head and went up to stairs, rubbing my now red, stinging ear. Once I got to my room I noticed the monkey suit laid out on my bed and I threw it to the floor in frustration.

I hated these stupid things. I was forced to sit and watch as my parents acted like they gave a damn about me. All I was was a liable source to take over the family business and a mere player in their game of life. But I guess I'm a way it was worth it. I played the part in their perfect family and they paid for my college.

I took a hot shower and styled my hair before glaring at the suit on my floor. I went over to my closet and decided to wear a dark grey button up and some black skinny jeans. This was more my style. I had a few minutes to spare so I went over to my window and looked towards Vic's. I found him sitting on his porch looking up at my window. I smiled and waved at him which he returned. Then, as creepy as it may sound, we just stared at each other until my Mom's screams pulled me away from him. I frowned at Vic and blew him a kiss before leaving the window and going down stairs.

I coughed at the stench of my Mom's perfume as she walked over to me. She was dressed to the nines in a gold colored evening dress and black heels, makeup that was way over the top and her hair was pinned up to perfection.
"What the fuck is this!?" She screamed, startling me. My Mom may say a few curse words but she never says fuck, never. "I laid out a suit for you! Are you trying to ruin my evening! Jesus Kellin stop thinking of yourself for once!" Her face turned red as she screamed.

I didn't think it was that much of a big deal, but apparently I was wrong.
"Honey what're you upset about?" My Dad said as he turned the corner. He was dressed in a more casual suit than what my Mom had laid out for me and I wanted to roll my eyes as she retold my Dad about how disrespectful I was being.
"Kellin..." he sighed and put a hand to his forehead. "Honey he looks fine." My Dad tried to reason with her. She humphed and crossed her arms. "You just lost your chance at this ass tonight." She told him in a whisper and walked away, well more like stomped away.

My Dad glared at me a moment then softened his look. "Just wait for the Hills to get here and answer the door. Sorry she's overreacting." I just nodded him off and took a seat on the stairs waiting for our guests to arrive.
