"Sissy!" I felt someone tackle me back down on the bed with a hug.

'Sissy...? Who calls me sissy...?' It took me a moment to react since I just woke up from... That...

'Amaranth! Ugh! My brains not working... Probably due to the head ache...' I felt Amaranth get up with her tiny hands on the side of my head as she looked at me with eyes filled with two emotions.

Concern and shocked.

"Sissy...?" Amaranth asked again.

"Yes Mara?" I replied which made all the negative emotions in her eye disappear in a spilt second replaced with a wide smile and get of me into a kneeling pose.

"Sissy is awake!" Amaranth cheered as I smiled at her with my head down and one hand on the side of my head.

'What the hell happened...'

'You fainted.' my second voice was active again.

'Where did I faint...?'

'Ugh! You fainted in the basement. I thought you fainted not lost your memory?' My second voice snapped at me.

'Right...'

"Mara. How did you get sissy out?" I asked knowing that there was no way Father would get me out of the basement.

Last time he opened the basement door and left not bothering to check on me.

"So... Mara open the door for Uncle Fel who asked Mara where sissy is, Mara cried saying that Papa got mad at Sissy getting punishment. Uncle Fel got mad and went to Papa while Mara sat outside. Mara was sooooooo worried about sissy she hear what Uncle Fel and Papa said. Then Mara heard sissy in basement so Mara lockpick the door and then Uncle Fel lifted Sissy here." Amaranth said while doing fancy gestures.

"You forgot about the part that I got the keys to the basement for no reason." Felix appeared at the door.

"How long have I been out for?"

"You slept through the entire night, Mara stayed here and slept with you while I slept in the guest bedroom" Felix answered

'Ask them "Why did you save me...?"'

"Why did you save me...?" I asked still holding my head due to the splitting head aches I was getting.

"Because I think of you as my niece. Though Claude is starting to lose his position as my brother in my head. Plus Lil' would kill me if I didn't help you." Felix said opening drawers in my room.

"Is Lily here!?!" I asked my voice getting noticably higher which didn't help with my head issue at all right now.

"No. She's busy with something..." Felix sighed at the end.

"What's wrong...?"

"What's wrong Uncle Fel...?" Me and Amaranth asked at the same time.

"I don't even know! She's avoiding me like I'm some parasite! She still text me but when I go close to her she moves away!" Felix said sighing again.

"Did you talk to her about it...?" I asked.

'Quit being so nosy! Be appreciative that Felix even spends time on you!'

I sealed my lips planning to follow my second voice recommendation... Well it was more of a command...

"I tried! Several times! Somehow it seems like we're back in square one when we both didn't know each other! We're a married couple now and she's acting like this!" Felix stared rambling.

Both me and Amaranth listened knowing that he probably has no one else to rant to.

"When I tried to ask her if there's anything wrong she looks at me with the expression that says that something is wrong but she would insist there's nothing wrong!" Felix closed my drawer and headed me a container.

'Painkiller...' I smiled as he noticed how much my head was in pain right now.

"Then when I ask her out on dates she says she's busy!" Felix takes the water from my water container in my room and hands me a cup of water.

I didn't think twice to swallow down some pain killers.

"Sissy? What did you just eat...?" Amaranth asked looking at me.

"It's called a pain killer. It is supposed to literally kill any pain that you have." I said trying to make Amaranth understand.

"Mara understand! So Sissy is taking painkillers right now so that Papa would be killed..?" Amaranth said tilting her head.

Felix just started bursting out in laughter as he held onto his stomach an bend down into a squatting pose.

I looked at her in bewilderment as she looked at me innocently.

"Mara... Tell me that you joking..." I said knowing that Amaranth was anything but dumb.

"Mara is joking! But sissy didn't even laugh..." Amaranth looked to the side and pouted.

'Shit...'

"Mara, sissy is sorry..." I cupped her cheeks with both my hands as I apologized.

"Sissy is not forgiven!" Amaranth said carefully getting off the bed.

"Mara!" I said getting off the bed and lifting Amaranth up.

"Sissy! Let Mara go! This isn't playing fair!" Amaranth continued to pout as I laughed.

"Give sissy a break Mara..." I said softly as Amaranth caught the message and stopped putting up a fight.

"Mara I think your joke killed Uncle Fel..." I said as I looked at Felix who was on the floor still laughing.

Knock knock.

'That's the door...' I wondered if I should go answer it...

"ATHANASIA GET THE DOOR!" I heard Father shout and immediately the room fell dead silent as Felix stopped laughing.

'Quickly put Mara down, get changed and then go get the door.'

I sat Mara down put a finger to my lips and whispering 'Shh' signaled Felix to get out of the room.

Felix didn't question me and just walked out.

I locked the door and changed into a T-shirt that was white in colour then thew a oversized grey jacket that was hanging from my body at the sides it was lined with a stripe of silver, I wore some blue ripped jeans and got changed in less then 2 mins.

I opened the door to a surprised Felix and then dashed down the stairs.

'Walk! Do you want to die from falling down the stairs?'

I followed what my second voice said and started walking.

I breathed in and out then opened the door.

"Hello?" I said in a voice that sounded way to high and fake.

"Hello! I am Aurora! I am your new neighbor! This is my son kir-"

"It's miss robber." I looked down and saw Kiran with his green eyes looking at me.
