Today is a Wednesday. Which means I have to stay back after school to plan the stupid dance which I won't even be attending.

After my English class, I drag myself to my next class. I go to my locker to take my books out and Evelyn was there.

She was seemingly busy, flirting with Daniel. I roll my eyes and sneak to my locker.

This girl was flirting like crazy, she was twirling her hair around her finger and giggling at almost everything he said.

"So, is Eleanor your locker neighbor?" Daniel asks.

Seriously? Are you kidding?!

"Um, yeah. We are like the best friends in the world!" She says, hugging me.

This girl is such a faker.

"Really? Because I heard she jumped on you?" He asks.

"Yeah. It was for a reason." I mutter to myself.

"Huh?" Daniel asks.

"What she said was, it was just a misunderstanding and its no big deal." Evelyn says, instantly.

"Oh OK." Daniel says.

"Look, as much as I would love to hang around you two, I got to go." I say, shutting my locker and walling towards my next class.

Jesus! This girl is the biggest fake I have ever met!

The bell didn't ring yet and I was early to class. Everyone else was talking but I decided to use my phone while I waited.

Louis and Olivia comes in and takes seats next to mine.

"What's up El?" Olivia asks, sitting down.

"Nothing. I'm just trying to forget what just happened." I say.

"What happened with Evelyn this time?" Louis asks.

"I went to my locker and she was right there flirting with Daniel and she started saying lies about me jumping on her and us being enemies. She said we were 'best friends'."

"So that all happened in like, five minutes?" Olivia asks.

"Its Evelyn. She can murder a person in five minutes!" I say.

"Good point." Louis says.

The bell rings and the teacher walks in.

I sigh and watch as she starts class.

I don't use my phone this time because I learnt my lesson.

Luckily, I didn't fall asleep.

After what feels like forever, the bell rings and I go out.

"So, you're going to America. And that means, after school we are going shopping!" Olivia says.

"You know I don't like going shopping right?" I say.

"Yeah. But come on! It'll be fun!" She pleads.

Why does everyone think that everything would be 'fun'?!

I sigh. "Fine." I say, making her squeal.

"But one hour and one hour only!" I say.

"Deal." Olivia says.

"Enjoy your shopping spree!" Louis says, chuckling.

Just then his text alert goes off.

"Oh man! Can I join you?" Louis asks.

"I thought you didn't want to go with us for a 'shopping spree'?" I mock.

"Hey! Its either going shopping with you two or with my mum!" He says.

"Okay fine. You can come. How about Starbucks after that?" I ask.

"Okay!" Louis and Olivia say in unison, and we all end up laughing.

"What's so funny guys?" Alex asks.

"Nothing. The three of us are going to Starbucks later. Wanna join?" I ask.

"I would love to but I have a physics test tomorrow and I really need to study."Alex says.

"Yeah its okay." I say.

Recess just started and I head to the auditorium.

Evelyn and her 'gang' were already there and were I think, gossiping.

"I'm here. Can we start decorating this place now?" I ask.

"Whatever." Evelyn says rolling her eyes and walking towards the decorations.

Evelyn and the others start putting up the decorations while I make the posters advertising the dance.

I finish the posters and help out with the decorations.

Our time was up so I took my bag and left.

No words exchanged with Evelyn.
