"Arya.." Draupadi said, as they walked in the garden of Indraprastha.

"Hmm..?" Arjun said.

"Why does no one lives here?" Draupadi asked Arjun.

"God knows." He grinned, she chuckled.

"I mean Hastinapur is the centre that's why..."

"Hmm, no matter how beautiful this is and how much time we get together, I wanna go back to home now." Draupadi said. Arjun smiled.

"home." She added.

"Yes, yes, we will go back soon, there are alot of chores." Arjun said.

"Like what?" Draupadi asked.

"It's..." They paused and Arjun turned to Draupadi.

"It's that I have to go on some battle actually."

"Oh!" Draupadi said, hiding her remorse due to this news.

"I know... I know I must stay with you but--"

"No, no, it's completely alright. Ha! You can't stay back for me all the time. It's your foremost duty and I don't have any intention to interwind in that." Draupadi faked a smiled.

"Your fake smile is also beautiful." He grinned.

"Ha ha! Funny!" She said, "I am also not unemployed, don't Forget, Kakashree Vidhur wants me to join him in administration!"

"Fine. We both have works!" Arjun sighed.

"Now you seem to be unimpressed!" Draupadi giggled.
"Nothing like that, Drau!" Arjun smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist. She kept her head on his chest, Arjun's one hand left her waist and reached the rose flower plant and he plucked the rose and showered the petals on her.

"What are you--" she looked up to see and he threw the red petals on her.

"Typically Romantic!" She shrugged off and pulled away from him.

"For about a long time I was thinking." He said and brushed away the rose petals from her head, "how would you look with these white flowers look on you."

"Huh?"

He took her wrist and they sat near the flower bed and Arjun plucked some flowers and settled them on her hair.

"Beautiful!" He breathed.

"Thanks." She blushed.

He leaned forward and kissed Draupadi's forehead and then moved down to her lips and captured them in a kiss.

"I would like to continue this!" Arjun smiled and she blushed.

Next day, Arjun and Draupadi journeyed back to Hastinapur.

Kunti welcome back her son and daughter in law.

"We missed you so much." Kunti said and hugged Draupadi.

"We did too." Draupadi replied, They greeted others and then Draupadi went with Surbhika and Divyanshi while Arjun stayed with Nakul and Sehdev.

"Missed you  jiji." Surbhika said.

"Yeah, me too!" Draupadi said.

"Had fun, di?" Divyanshi nudged Draupadi, smiling mischievously.

"Oh god! Can you keep you mind clear for once?" Draupadi laughed, hiding the redness of her cheeks.

"But I heard that Rajkumar Arjun is going on some battle as soon as he becomes the yuvraj!" Surbhika said.

"That's true." Draupadi sighed.

"Kshatriya Dharma, Surbhi!" Divyanshi said to Surbhika.

"Oh yeah."

Draupadi was in the administration room with Kunti and Vidhur, she was going through some patrikas.

"What are these?" She took the decorated patrikas.

"They are marriage proposals for Arjun. He is the crown prince that's why." Vidhur said casually, forgetting Arjun's vow.

"And what's better than marriage for alliance?" Vidhur said, "he should think about them, he didn't reply anything when I asked him but some of them are really worth i--"
He didn't said anything?? Why? The hell he should I said no!  Draupadi thought.

"Mahamantri Vidhur." Kunti said, as she was Draupadi's face turning pale at his words.

"Arjun had vowed something, don't forget that please." Kunti said.

"Oh! Yeah! Better deny these proposals!" Vidhur said and looked at Draupadi.

"Sorry putri, I didn't remember that."

Draupadi smiled, "no, no, Kakashree, It's all fine, you are my elder, you can't say sorry to me." She continued her work.

Draupadi was still thinking about the incident that took place in the administration room, she was in the balcony looking at the blank sky when she felt two arms wrapping around her.

"Hey!" He said in her ear, a mere whisper.

"Welcome back." She sighed.

"Welcome back for what?" He asked.

"After you ignored me the whole day... Now you are Finally coming to me.. it's almost midnight for your kind information." She said.

"Sorry I was busy."

"Sorry of course." She mocked, "fine." And turned to face him, getting ridge of his grip, she walked in.

Arjun walked to her, she sat on the bed.

"What happened?" He asked. She didn't bother to reply. Arjun sighed and climbed up the bed and kept his head on her lap, taking her hand in his, he kissed it.

"Say" he urged.

"Well do you know there are some marriage proposals for you?" She said.

"Yes, of course, Kakashree Vidhur told me." Arjun said.

"What did you reply about them?"

"Nothing." He said, "Saying no just like that is rude you know, a maiden's heart will be broken."

She expected him to say, I won't break my vow!
Or
My love, how can I? Haven't I vowed to be only yours?
Or
You are the only one.

Draupadi's rage and insecurence took over her love for him.

"Okay, fine, get up!" She tried not to yell at him.

"What? What happened, love?" He asked she pushed him away and get off the bed.

"Go the maiden whose heart you can't break! She will happily give you her lap to keep your head upon!"

"What happened..?"

"What an innocent man! Oh sorry a Prince!  No, the Crown prince!" She said.

"Draupadi... I didn't mean it."

"What you didn't mean? All I can accommodate is that you can see me upset but can't break a maiden's heart.. whom you don't even know!!"

"Draupadi what has happened to you! Why are you behaving like that, you know I would never ever break my vow, even if that means my death." He said, "you know I love you! Only you!"

She looked at him, ".... So? I am insecure."

"You don't trust me?"

"If I hadn't... I would have been back at Panchal, not here!"  She said.

"If the fireborn calm now?" He asked, cheekily smiling.

"I am ever burning fire." She winked at him.

"I have no doubt. But I am indraputra, don't forget, which can calm you!" He said, she giggled, and Arjun swept her off her feet and laying her on the bed, he kissed her, falling into each other's passion.

It was Arjun's coronation day, he was then crowned as the Yuvraj of Hastinapur and Draupadi as the Yuvrani and of course, Madhav had payed a visit with Satyabhama.

"So how are you feeling, Yuvraj Arjun." Krishna grinned at Arjun.
They were in a separate soon, no one else was allowed there other than the four.

"I don't know, Dwarkadhish!" Arjun mocked back.

"Oh, come in you two," Satyabhama laughed.

"Get back to Madhav and  Parth," Draupadi laughed.

"Yes! It's so jittery to heart Dwarkadhish for you, Parth." Krishna said.

"Sorry, Madhav." Arjun said.

Kunti , Gandari and all the ladies were sitting together.

"Congratulations for Bhanumati has given birth to a son, Maharani Gandhari."

"Thank you, I am so overjoyed, the palace is filled with his giggles and cries."

"Must be  pleasing." Kunti said

Draupadi decided to leave the group, it wasn't that she was jealous but the scars hurt everytime she hears about kids and babies.

"Maa, i..I have some work, I maybe leave." Draupadi said.

"Yeah, sure."

She walked away.

"Draupadi, are you okay? Your mood seems off." Arjun said as he held her in his arms.

"No, it's nothing like that but I can't help think about the things I shouldn't." She replied.

"I love you and you don't need to think about anything useless." He said and kissed her.

"You don't know... What alot a woman has to face."

"There you go again." Arjun sighed, "why don't you understand that I understand you."

"You aren't the one who has to sit between ladies and they are talking about kids and unintentionally salting your wound and then you feel like a waste." A tear rolled down her cheek and Arjun sighed.

"It's okay." He hugged her tightly.

Next day, Arjun was leaving for the battle.

"Take care." Draupadi said as he was done wearing his bakhtar.

"Yes I will." He cupped her face and their lips met in a kiss.

"Don't miss me." He winked.

"I will not." She laughed.

"Oh I know you won't." He joked, "poor me."

"Hey!" She hit his chest and hugged him, trying not to cry.

"Be safe."

"Yes I will try."
