Arjun was out with the old man for wood cutting chores and Draupadi was helping the old lady.

Arjun was dressed as a commoner so that's why no one could recognise her.

A few men were walking by, they were known to the old man.

"Kaka!" One of the man said to the old man. They started talking to the old man. Arjun kept doing him work when he heard Hastinapur.
He knew, to eavesdrop, is a bad habit but he couldn't resist.

"What should we say about Hastinapur, it's devastated, it's ruining after the death of Rajkumar Arjun and Rajkumari Draupadi. No heir to the throne, yeah there are the other two princes but they aren't at all eligible, neither in age nor in skills."

"The kingdom will surely go in ruins and don't forget the news that Karna is planning to attack Hastinapur. The king is already old and in grief of his son... Hastinapur goes into ruins."

Arjun sighed.

Draupadi noticed Arjun's depressed mood, it irked her. He wasn't even talking to her.

After the dinner was done and they were planning to sleep she finally asked.

"Arya, what's wrong?" She asked, softly.

He looked up to her before sighing.

"Arya?" She shifted closer to him, touching his face in a slow manner.

"What is it?" She asked again.

"Krishnaa." He told her whatever he heard from the men.

"We're going back to Hastinapur." She said as he finished.

"What? Krishnaa, we still don't know and I can risk to lose yo--" she kept her finger on his lips.

"As long as I have you by my side, nothing can ever happen to me and maybe be if you're a little away, you come back running to me... Like you always do." She smiled.

He sighed before curving his lips into a smile, "You always have enough reasons to convince me."

"I know." She giggled and kept her head on his chest, "But we can be so selfish because we aren't. I know the more time you'll spend here, away from Hastinapur, the more you'll hurt and wrenched."

"How come you know me so well?" Arjun wrapped his arms around her

"I don't know." She said.

Draupadi looked up at him, he touched her face and smiled.

"What are you planning to do?" She shyly asked.

"As if you don't know, Panchali. "

"Shushh..." She smiled, "They will hear you."

"What did I say, Krishnaa?" He grinned, "I didn't say anything. Did you understand something which I haven't said?"

"It's Savyasachi." She smiled, softly.

"oh yeah, because Krishnaa loves him, doesn't she?" He smirked.

"As much as Draupadi loves Arjuna." She smiled.

He leaned forward to kiss her and something more which won't be ever perfectly described by words, just feeling.

Madri and others were getting ready for the yagna for Arjun and Draupadi, unknown to something shocking.

Arjun and Draupadi said goodbyes to the old man and woman.

The old man and woman walked in and what they found was like a blessing to them.

Arjun and Draupadi had left all their royal jewellery there. They made the poor rich, anyways.

They reached to the door of Hastinapur, the dwarpal recognised his prince and princess.

"Raj... Rajkumar Arjun?"

No one could believe it.

Soon the news started spreading as Arjun and Draupadi too headed towards the Palace.

"Maharani! Maharani!" A dwarpal ran in the place the yagna was about to happen.

Kunti shot up death glare at the dwarpal.

"How dare you interrupted in between the yagna...you should be punishe--"

"Maa," Kunti heard and soon Arjun and Draupadi came into view.

For everyone it was a moment of shock and nostalgia. No emotions could be expressed.

Kunti has tears in her eyes, she ran to his son and hugged him, on the other side, Divyanshi and Radha hugged Draupadi.

"Arjun, Draupadi." Kunti said, looking at her son and daughter in law.

"You two..." Her tears won't stop.

Nakul and Sehdev hugged their elder brother and greeted their sister in law.

"I..." Kunti cried, "I can't believe it."

Arjun told what happened. Pandu was furious, "I will attack Varnaprast right now! They won't be spared, it's my Son and daughter in law they tried to kill!"

"No, Maharaj." Draupadi said.

"Why putri?" Pandu asked.

"They are not the roots, they should find the roots." Draupadi said.

"I agree with Draupadi." Kunti said.

"Yes, we do too." The twins nodded.

They also got to know that Dhridrastha, Queen Gandhari, Gandharaj Shakuni and Uruvi had left.

"And Uruvi married Karna." Divyanshi said making disgusted face.

"Hmm.." Draupadi nodded.

"I am just so happy. I got you back." Divyanshi hugged her sister.

"Aww, you missed me?"

"To no end. You're my Siso, anyways." Divyanshi giggled.

"Bharatshree!" The twin princes were stick to their elder brother.
"We missed you so much, like..." Nakul said.

"Yes Bhrata, you don't know in which condition we were." Sehdev said.

"Sorry, I couldn't come earlier." Arjun said to the twins

"What? Arjun is back? Draupadi is back?" Uruvi was shocked.

"Yes." Karna snarled.

"Draupadi... She....she...she...!!!" Uruvi started throwing things here and there.

"Yes! That Draupadi! That Arjuna!" Karna shouted.

"They ruined my life!" Uruvi cried, "That Draupadi.. I thought I killed her and I killed my Arjuna...too...I married you.. nooo!!! I love Arjun!" She muttered like a psycho.

"Uruvi what are you saying???!"

"No I love you . They have ruined me! I want revenge, love. I want revenge from Arjun and Draupadi, love I want revenge!"

"Yes, priye, you will get revenge! We will take revenge! I will take revenge from Draupadi and Arjun! They insulted me!" Karna said.

Arjun was laying with his head on Draupadi's lap and she was softly caressing his locks.

"Krishnaa." He said.

"Hmm." She responded.

"It's better at home, Don't you think? I missed ma."

"Yes, I too missed all of them, glad we're back."

"But..."

"But what Arya?"

"Something isn't right and I have protect you."

"Very funny. Nothing's gonna happen anytime soon, I'm thinking to talk to ma about Nakul and Divya." Draupadi smiled.

"My god, how come you know my thoughts." Arjun grinned.

"It's my thought." She said.

"No, I really was thinking about it." Arjun said.

"I think it's because we think that same."

"Positively true. Because I love you and you know my thoughts always," he smiled.

"I know." She smiled, "and you know I have something." He sat up and after some time she came back.

"What is it?"

"Guess Savyasachi!" Draupadi smiled.

"Hmm, looks like Krishnaa is in playful mood."

"God no, just guess, it's something you had given me."

"Hm...."

"Okay close your eyes." She said and he obeyed.

She took his palm and kept a dagger.

"It's my dagger, I gave you...." He looking at it.

"Yes, I never got time to return it." She said.

"But it's for you, you know in eastern countries, groom gives a dagger on wedding. Trust me I had something like that in my mind when I gave you this dagger."

"You are unbelievable." She laughed.

"People usually turn unbelievable in love or I'd say mad." He grinned.
"Arya..." She blushed.

"What Arya Arya, you are blushing too much." He grinned.

"Oh god, i love you when you are in Savyasachi mode." She blushed.

"And I love it when you blush," he said.

"Oh my my, can you--" he pulled her into a lovin' kiss.
