Eli made it over to Carlos just as Evie and Greta were joining the group.

"We need people to help with costumes for the school plays." Evie announced

"We need people to join the Tourney team." Ben said, he looked up at Eli. "Do you play?"

Eli looked over from watching Carlos play with Dude.

"What?"

"Do you play?"

"Play what?"

"Tourney"

"What's that?"

"Never mind, that answered my question." Everyone laughed except Eli as he was still confused.

"Mal, would you hel-" Greta said in a sing-song voice

"No" Mal answered before she finished. Eli looks over to Greta.

"Help with what?"

"Costumes and make up for the school plays." Evie and Greta said at he same time.

"Sounds cool, count me in."

Everyone turns and looks at Eli in shock. CJ was the first to speak.

"You. Want to help do makeup and sew costumes. Isn't that a bit girly?"

"My mother can design and make a gown in 30 seconds flat." Eli shot back.

"Only because she has magic." Jordan said. A wave of sadness washes over Eli's face and he stands up and storms away.

"What did I say?" She asks

"He wasn't born with his mothers magic." Ben replied

"Oh, wow I feel like a jerk now."

"I don't think that's entirety true." Jane whispered, Mal looks over at her.

"You felt it too?"

"Ya, it was weird. Its like how I can feel you even though your nowhere in sight. But just now it was just a weak burst."

"So you think he has magic? Its just buried inside." Carlos asks.

"I think its kinda like the barrier. Its blocks so much, but every now and then a small amount leaks in."

Eli entered his dorm , threw his bag in a corner and plopped down on the couch and turned on the TV, he was still sitting there when Jay and Carlos came back.

"Hey, Jordan didn't know." Jay said messing up Eli's hair.

"I know, I should apologize for giving her the death glare."

"No dude, it made you look VK. It was co-. Crazy." Carlos said after almost saying 'cool'. Eli looked up at him.

"OK I can take Ice puns. But someone brings up Ice Magic, I'll give them the cold shoulder."

"Haha burn!" Jay laughed as he grabbed his towel.

"Don't you mean Freezer Burn?" Eli smiled.

"Nice one!" Mal said as she let herself in the room.

"What brings you by?" Carlos asked

"I have a headache, because of this." She says pointing over her shoulder. Evie and Greta burst into the room holding two dresses.

"Eli! We need your help." The both say

"The first play is Pinocchio, and Greta thinks we should have the blue fairy in a strapped velvet Midnight Blue dress-"

"Agreed" Greta buts in.

"But I think she should wear a silky strapless sky blue dress."

Eli looks at the two dresses.

"Why don't you do both?"

"I already said that." Mal muttered

"And we said no because your taste in fashion is called Gateway Magic" Evie says.

"How do we do both?" Greta asks.

"Follow me." Eli said taking the two dresses and walks out with Evie and Greta in the tow. Mal turnes to look at Carlos and Jay.

"I'm so glad he can help solve these issues."

"It makes sense, with who his mother is." Carlos says

"Then why didn't you help, De Vil?" Jay teases.

"Because neither of those have fur."

"OK guys, serious question." Mal cuts in "Do you guys get any weird vibes off of him?"

"What do you mean?" Carlos asks.

"Remember on the Isle, how the one thing that was so wrong it was right."

"You mean everything?" Jay smiles.

"No the one thing that we have never seen in Auradon."

"...like everything."

"Relationship wise!"

Carlos and Jay looked at each other in confusion until Carlos realized what she ment.

"Oh! You think that he's..."

"Gay? Ya. I mean we've been around Hades kid a lot, remember when he flirted with Jay?" Jays face goes red as the memories surface. Carlos starts to sweat and his heart beat quickens in fear.

"C? What's wrong?" Mals asks noticing Carlos.

"Its just...I...nothing."

"Spill or I spell." Mal says making eye contact with him causing both of their eyes to glow green.

"I'm ugh...I'm...Bi." He says in defeat. Jay and Mal both look at him in shock.

"Wait what?" Jane says from the doorway. Mal, Carlos and Jay spin around to see that the door was left open. The color drains out of Carlos face as Jane walks into the room and closes the door.

"Please you can't tell anyone!" He exclaims.

"No I won't! I just never knew. Here I was thinking you broke up with me because I wasn't pretty enough." She said sadly.

"That was never a problem, i was afraid if you learning about me being also attracted to guys a reason to send ne back to the isle. I wanted to keep it hidden. You understand right?"

"Ya" she says tears building in her eyes. Carlos gets up and hugs her. Mal and Jay join in.
