it's rather lonely without you here, doll. all the men have pictures of their girls in their pocket watches, i've seen them and none compare to you. i don't have a picture in my pocket watch, care to send one? it would mean a lot to me, doll.

nothing bad has happened to me yet, although, i'm quite tired. i haven't been able to sleep the same way without you next to me. it doesn't feel right. a few of the men are nice, some are pigs. none know how to clean up after themselves. the bunks are extremely cold, as well.
