Is Emily's sister actually dead?

Slowly over the time Emily got over your death and healed. She talked about you without crying at the end.

The team loved how Emily became more open and they know, they would have loved you if you were alive.

But Emily always felt like something was wrong. She didn't know what it was, but after the acceptance with your death, she started feeling like you weren't really dead, but she thought it's just because she missed you.

The team was on a case in a small town, an unsub killed familys but let the children live. It's awful.

However as the team gets into the police station they were welcomed from the police chief.

"Hello, I'm police chief Malcom Streng, thank you for coming here." he says as he shakes Hotch's hand.

"No problem, we just want to catch the unsub." Hotch responds, "is there somewhere where my team can set up?"

The chief nods but looks at Emily for a while.

"I'm sorry is there something on my face?" she asks.

"I'm sorry you just remind me of someone." he says and shows them the way. Garcia who is also with them, sets everything up and goes through all the murdered families.

The team is sitting at the conference table when the chief comes in, "Excuse my, but my best detective is coming any moment and I think she would be a great help." he says.

The team nods a bit unsure, they liked help but they didn't know the detective. The door was open in the conference room, so as you walked in the station everyone could hear and see you.

"Hey chief, I'm so sorry but Declan got sick and no one could babysit him so I had to bring him here." you excuse yourself.

"No problem Prentiss." the chief responds and at that the whole team looks up.

Everyone looked at you but you stood with your back to them.

But as soon as they all saw Declan, they stood speechless.

"The BAU is in the conference room. You can bring Declan in my office." the chief says.

"Alright, thanks." you say and turn around to make your way to the office.

As the team sees you, they are shocked.

Y/N Prentiss is standing infront of them. The person who is supposed to be dead.

But as you turn around and see Emily Prentiss, your twin sister, your breath got caught in your throat, wasn't she supposed to be dead? you thought to yourself.

Emily and you look at one another for a good minute but after some time you catch your breath, "Emily" you whisper.

"Y/N?" she asks with tears in her eyes.

You look shocked and happy but then you remember Declan in your arms. You go away and the team looks dumbfounded but when you come back without the boy, they know you were bringing him into the office.

You walk into the room slowly, as if this moment could break any moment.

You walk infront of Emily and hug her slowly. As she pulls her arms around you, you break down and hug her so tight.

Emily is not better, she is crying and hiding her face in your neck.

The team watches this sister moment in awe but they are still shocked.

After a few minutes you let go and study her face.

"How are you alive?" you both ask at the same time. you both chuckle but it quickly becomes serious.

"Emily.. I thought you were dead." you start.

"I thught you were dead." Emily responds and you both look confused.

"I literaly saw how he shot you in the head." you state and can see her confused look.

"No I saw you get shot in the head." she responds and you just look at eachother, before a cough brings you back in reality.

"I might have an answer for that." Spencer says.

"I've read once about this drug, that makes you see things what others say to you and we found some of these drugs on Ian Doyle." he states.

There is a look of realisation on your faces and you once again look at eachother, still feeling like this was a dream.

"But I thought you were a lawyer?" Emily asks and you nod.

"I was but.. after the kidnapping and everything I wanted to do something differnet, so I took this job and it's pretty good." you say with a smile.

"And Declan?" Emily asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I- I took him in four years ago. He had no home and I just wanted a safe home for him." you state and look at her.

You two look at eachother and she brings you in a bonecrashing hug, again.

But you wouldn't trade that for everything.

You had your sister back and that's all that matters.
