Aaron Hotchner is your dad and you both are running the FBI triathlon.

You were waiting for this moment.

Your dad and you were training for months, for this triathlon. You even run, when he was on cases. To say you were good was an understatement. Your dad was much slower than you, and he runs fast.

Your father was called in for a case and it looked like he couldn't make it for the triathlon but... never lose hope.

Beth, a nice lady you and your dad met, and you were jogging on a nice sunny day. Jack was riding his bike besides you.

"Do you think he is gonna make it?" Beth asks.

"I don't know." you sigh, "I really hope so. I mean, we didn't train all months for nothing. And I don't want to do it alone."

"Hey, don't worry. I will be there and I think Jack is gonna be there too. He and I will sit there and support you." she says and you smile at her.

It was a few days later and your dad got home yesterday. Today is the day of the run and you both are excited. Your dad and you were up early beacuse you needed to be there in the morning.

You both were running since a while and you were before him. The truth is, you were running a bit slower, so he didn't feel so old.

You were getting to the finish line, but you stopped waiting for your dad.

"You don't need to stop." he said, as he came to you.

You started running again, but in his tempo, "Dad, we are gonna get to the finish line together. You and me both, like always." You say and smile at him.

"Forever together." he says after a few minutes.

As you both were just a few meters away, you could see your dad's Team and Jack. He was holding a poster that said "Go dad and Y/N!", he is just the sweetest.

Your dad grabbed your hand and you both finished the triathlon, as everyone cheered.

Jack run to you and hugged you. Your dad grabbed you a drink and joined you two in the hug.

Suddenly you heard your name being called and you turned around, seeing Beth coming towards you. She hugged you and then your dad. You need to say, they two are really cute and it makes you happy, to see him so happy.

This day was great and after all, your family is here.
