Fairy Tail was even more homely then what I used to think when I was just observing the guild all these years. Now that I have joined, these past two days have been the best in my whole life. I used to think family was bloodlines and its the blood that connects one family member to another. With that thought I hated myself after my mom died. I'm related to my father and he did almost destroy everything in mine and others lives. I used to think many things after that incident. Is that black mage really my father? Will I turn out like him? Will I cause others despair because his blood is running inside me? How can I face someone who has been scarred by my father? Am I worthy enough to make connections with people? Am I strong enough to defeat my own father, my own family? Should I even try? or...

Do I deserve to die?...

Because I'm related, a threat and I carry his power as well

But, I picked myself up. The best I can do for the people who were scarred by my father is to become strong enough to defeat my father, even if he's my father and at that time, my only family. It didn't matter to me if I was to walk for 400 or more years alone. It didn't matter to me for people to hate me. It didn't matter if I was to die.

It's a burden I have to bear and a goal I have to accomplish.

But, I joined Fairy Tail and in 48 hours I learned that people who aren't related to each other are even closer to each other than my father was to me. They treated each other as family. They made me realize that even though i have my father magic, im using it for the good instead of doing evil with it. Most of them were hurt by my father, in which I felt so ashamed but in a way they came together in a guild and have a bond tighter than any knot. I was happy because my father didn't stop them from standing back on their feet when they fell. I was glad.

My goal still exists but now I have my own family supporting me.

Natsu, Erza, Gray, Lucy and Wendy went to the Beach to train. Some others tagged along. The master planned a Fairy Tail team two since the Grand Magic Games allowed a guild to submit two teams. I don't know who is in team two at the moment for I lied to the master saying that I will be traveling for the next three months and I left before the next team was assigned.

One day I will have to stop lying.

I spent the next three months not only training in the woods but checking out the Magic Council as well. I overheard that Jellal has escaped. I heard from Erza that Jellal was her friend from the Tower Of Heaven, another creation from a cult who worships my father. Jellal as you can see is another victim of my father. I heard Ultear and Meredy broke him out. They were part of the second guild masters guild with Azuma. I was glad because I hope Erza can be more happy knowing her friend is technically free. The council was notified of Fairy Tails return. Their relationship with Fairy Tail was not good because of the damage Fairy Tail does to the law but they slide with it because Fairy Tail has beat the two baddest Dark Guilds so far. I don't like the council. They blame a guild who have been ridding the evil from this world while those council members do nothing. At the council I also met Doranbolt. He is close with the Master. I dont know how but, I needed to do some business. One person had to know about Alvarez and, according to my half brother, fathers goals. I put on my cape and came face to face with Doranbolt.
"What do you mean Alvarez will attack?" He says.
"I just want to notify the council. Keep a lookout because Alvarez is harboring Zeref," I say.
"Who are you? What do you mean? Don't play any tricks-"
But, I vanished before I was forced to answer anything.

Also in those three months I went to Alvarez. I was worried about my brothers threat. I just went to the border islands. Most of them are tourist spots but then I changed my mind and left. Alvarez doesn't seem ready to attack yet. I will get stronger.  Now I think that I just wanted to see Larcade and find out what he was doing.

The master told me to meet everyone in Crocus, Fiore's Capital and where the Grand Magic Games takes place, the day before the games start but I came a week earlier. Crocus was more lively than ever. It has changed so much the past hundreds of years from being a torn down war zone to a sparkly city with tall buildings and lots of flowers. I mean, flowers were everywhere. When I got there a week earlier, it was fun strolling down streets full of people where I don't have to worry about my curse killing them. My father couldn't do this. Some unfamiliar guilds were already in the city. The evening of my first day of Crocus, I visited the gardens of the castle and discovered something that surprised me but also made me scared a little. It was a magic like my fathers magic being admitted somewhere near or in the castle. I'd recognize my fathers magic anywhere. For the days till everyone joined me in Crocus, I went to search for this magic. I couldn't find it.

The day before the Grand Magic Games I met with the Master and everyone else.
"Woah! This place is so floral," Natsu says.
"I have never been to the Capital. Let's go Natsu to sight see," Lucy says.
"Wait Children," The master says. "I have signed us in. Our hotel is Hunny Cutt and apparently curfew is 12 AM for some reason."
"That's weird. The games don't start till tomorrow right?" Erza says.
"Grayyyyy! Let's go eat somewhereeee.." Juvia says dragging Gray away.
"Let's go!" Natsu says. Lucy follows.
"GET BACK AT 12 AM!" Erza shouts after them.
"Well I'm going to go to the hotel and investigate on something," Erza says. She walks off.
Investigate? Does she recognize the weird aura around here? We were near the castle so someone could have already detected it. I walk off. Wendy and Charla go to sight see and everyone else probably does as well. I decided to continue my investigation of this mysterious power thats like my fathers. No luck. It became dark really quick.
"Welcome Grand Magic Game's Contestants" I hear from the sky. I look up and a huge sphere thing appeared. So its starting? The sphere looked like a maze and a bunch of pathways appeared toward the sphere. "Everyone" I hear in my head.
It's Warren. He has telepathy powers. "Wendy and Carla has not come back," I hear.  What? Then who's the replacement person to be in the team the game just started. "Don't worry, Elfman has substituted," Warren says. Could it be the dark magic I sense in the castle. "I heard Wendy and Carla went to the maze in front of the castle," I hear Lisanna. I turned around and looked at the castle behind the street of houses. "I will go," I say.
I start running. It has to be the dark magic. Lisanna was already at the front of the maze going inside. "Wait up," I shout.
We walked in and separated to look around. "Cirki over here. Oh my God," I hear Lisanna. I go over to her.
It was Wendy and Carla. They were stripped of all their magic. "This is Magic Deficiency Disease," I mutter.
"How do you know?" Lisanna asks.
"Her magic. You cant sense it because it was all used up or well, taken by someone. Don't worry. Her magic will come back. Let's take her to Polyusica," I say. I myself can heal Wendy but that healing magic is contained in that Lacrima on my wrist along with my dark magic and some powerful god slayer magics.
"Alright" We pick up Wendy and Carla and run out of the maze. Who knows if the thing that caused this is still there. We head to the Hunny Cutt Hotel.
"Okay I told everyone we found them," Lisanna says coming back with a jug of water.
Poliusica was treating Wendy at the small infirmary in the hotel. Everyone else is probably watching our teams trough the Lacrima screens outside the hotel. I go outside and take a look myself. Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza and Elfman were running on a small path above a big body of water. Magic has its illusions, I think. As I walk back in I hear, "And it seems like the first part of the games have finished. We will introduce the teams in a few hours. I turn around. Did I they make it? The screen showed them at the door marked "Finish Line"
I sighed and head back in. The sun was coming up through the houses. In a few hours the games will start at the arena.
"Let's take Wendy to the arena infirmary," Polyusica tells Lisanna.
"I'm going to the arena," I say and walk outside and towards the arena. I back a corner and get on my Eathernano Scythe. Flying is better than going in through security that could sense my magic. The dark magic may have to do with the games so going to the arena to investigate anything is a good idea. But, after searching there was no luck. People started sitting down on the seats. Each guild has its own VIP booth so I head to the Fairy Tail booth. The games was about to start soon.
I saw the master and everyone else watching the arena field below. I walk over and the games officially start. The announcers introduce the guilds that got past the maze. Natsu's team got to the door last so they were introduced first. They entered and our guild cheered. The next guild was Quarto Cerberus then Blue Pegasus. Lamia Scale came after that. The next guild after Lamia scale was.. Raven Tail. I looked closer. That's the master's son's guild. I look at the master. He looked agitated. "So How did Ivan's guild get allowed to be in the games? His guild is a dark guild."
I also looked into Raven Tail as I was observing the growth of Fairy Tail. Ivan's guild definitely is or was a dark guild.
"They could have registered to be an official guild if they swore on a oath," I tell Master.
"I have a bad feeling about this," The master says. After Raven Tail was another surprise. Well, to Natsu's group.
"Seems like our second team got in the games as well," Levy says. I look as Gajeel, Juvia, Laxus, Mira and Mistogan???
"Wait.. why is Mistogan here. Isn't he in Edolas?" I say. I look around. Apparently everyone was wondering the same as me.
"That is Jellal. Jellal and Mistogan have the same face so why not," The master says.
I look at the master. "So Jellal did escape the magic council," I say.
"Ultear and Meredy helped him. They created an independent guild," The Master says proudly.
"Well thats good for Jellal," I smile, "And Erza." I look at Erza on the arena field. She was looking at Jellal. She wasn't surprised so they probably have already met. Juvia was swooning over Gray as usual. Uncle Natsu on the other hand, looks mad. I smile. Someone must have taken his flames.
The last guild that is introduced that got to the "Finish Line" door first was Sabertooth. I heard they were the top guild in Fiore at the moment. I look closer and my eyes widen. It's Sting and Rogue. They were the last two dragon slayers that went along with Natsu, Wendy and Gajeel through that portal 400 years ago. Natsu and them probably don't know that. Sting is the light dragon slayer and Rogue is the shadow dragon slayer. They look so grown up. They are supposed to be Wendy's age but since Wendy, Natsu and Gajeel were stuck on Tenrou Island trapped in time for 7 years, Sting and Rogue grew older.  They had exceeds beside them too. Apparently every dragon slayer does. Weird. I look close. Natsu doesn't seem happy at them either. Rivalry?
It was break time before the game itinerary was to be announced and Natsu and everyone else gathered at our booth.
"It was Raven Tail that got Wendy that way. They apparently became an official guild," Gajeel blurts out.
The master tenses up. "SO they are up to no good. We cant do much about it since they are an official guild apparently."
"So the dark magic around this city wasn't the cause of Wendy's Magic being sucked up," I mumble.
"You recognize it too?" Erza says over hearing.
"Yes. Do you feel it too?" I ask turning to face her.
"No. Apparently Jellal and them have felt it these past seven years at this event. They told us to keep a look out for any cause. It's Zeref magic they say but I wouldn't know since I wasn't influenced by Zeref himself like they were," Erza says. She comes closer. "Wait how can you recognize it. Did Zeref do something to you?" She asks.
Zeref is my father. I freeze. I can't say that to Erza. "Uh. I don't know," I blurt out. Great lie just great.
Luckily Erza wasn't curious of my statement. "Well you should go meet Ultear, Jellal and Meredy. Jellal's "Mistogan" cover is done for now so they are probably meeting somewhere outside of the arena," Erza says.
"I'll do that. Good luck you guys," I say and head to the back halls of the arena. It's time I met Jellal. There were rumors that he was possessed by my father. I just want to confirm if he knew anything about my father that way.
