My hands shake as I bring the knife to my palm. I turn around and Jenna smiles at me. It breaks my heart as I stare at her. Jeremy looks at me smiling. He knows I don't belong to Abnegation. He knows I belong to Dauntless and I know it deep in my heart to, but as I look at Jenna I cant help but feel like i'm betraying her. I look up and Alaric smiles encouragingly at me. I know he knows as well and part of me knows Jenna knows to. I cut my palm and I know then that I cut deeper then intended. I don't let that stop me. I place my hand out so it hangs over the Dauntless bowl.

"DAUNTLESS." Alaric calls.

The Dauntless go up in cheers and I know then that I made the right choice. More people go but I quit paying attention. Finally I look up and Jenna is smiling at me. Dauntless takes off down the stairs I keep up. We flood out onto the street and I yank my tee shirt off and let my brown hair down. I hear whistles but ignore it. I keep running.

I hear the train and I smile and close my eyes. The sound of home. I open my eyes and take off running. My hand finds the railing and I pull myself into the train cart. More initiates pule in and I notice im in with a lot of the Dauntless. A boy looks at me and smiles.

"Damon Salvatore and this is my brother Stefan Salvatore." I smile.

"Elena Gilbert." I say.

They both smile. I fall against the metal side and I notice a petal peaking underneath the shirt sleeve of Stefan's shirt. I look away and notice a huge guy looking at me. I remember his name as Adien. He looks around with a terrified look on his face.

A part of me wants to slap him and call him a pansy and ask him why the hell is he here. I hear the Dauntless scream and they jump. I look around and take off. I'm suspended in air for a few seconds and it makes me feel free. I land and roll tearing holes in the grey Abnegation clothing. I look around and notice everyones gathering. I move to the crowd of black. The pants im wearing have holes in them and I rip the pieces away. A guy with tattoos and piercing is yelling at us. I move to the front next to Damon and Stefan. Damon looks down and smiles at me. I look up and the guy is eyeing me.

"Im Eric one of the Dauntless leaders. Congratulations some of you made it. You've passed the first test now the second test is for you to jump." He says.

I hear whispers and without realizing it I've moved forward and climbed the ledge.

"Look a stiff." I look back and notice a erudite transfer.

I throw my middle finger up to him and smile.

"Im not a stiff. I'm Dauntless." I turn and jump off the building. The air rushes up and then I bounce. The feeling is freeing. I feel hands grab the net and help me off. I look up into the eyes of a gorgeous young man.

"Whats your name?" He ask.

"Elena." I say.

"First jumper Elena!!!!!" I hear yelling and whistles. I turn and move away from the net. I see a ledge and jump up on it. The guy at the net lifts an eyebrow. I smile.

"Welcome to Dauntless." He turns around and keeps helping people off the net." The last person is the girl from candor Anelise. Eric looks up and notices ive made a place on the ledge and he walks up and hits my leg. I jump down and land next to him. Im almost a foot shorter. His eyes like steele. I look away and at the guy from the net. Everyone is talking and looking around the dark railroad tracks that lead underneath the entire place. I hear the guy from the net clear his throat.

"Im four. I will be equipping you with the skills necessary to pass Dauntless initiation." Four says.

"Some of you already seem to have the spirit." As he says this his eyes move to look at me. "Some of you need a little push." He says. He looks at Anelise. Her face turns a deep shade of red.

"My job is to get you into the top slots so your bot made factionless." Four says. No emotion shows on his face.

"I thought we were already in?" I turn and the girl from amity named Bonnie ask. I turn my eyes to Four but he doesn't speak.

"No, you choose us. So now we get to choose you." Eric says. I roll my eyes and follow Four down a dark hallway that looks like it goes no where.

So im going to be using a collective group of characters from both series if there is any character you want in here that isnt already let me know.
