Chapter Thirty Six

Chris and I arrived at LAX after a quickie in the car, but I knew he was desperate for more, there's only so much you can do in the backseat.

He stopped at a grocery store to buy his mom some flowers. I loved the way he treated her, like a queen. No wonder he's always so sweet with me.

"There she is!" I motioned towards Lisa who was standing right outside the terminal.

Chris parked the car and we got out at the same time. He jogged up to his mom, engulfing her in a hug.

"Hi sweetheart."

"Hey mom, these are for you."

"Thank you Chris."

Chris took his mom's luggage and rolled it over to the car.

"Y/n! Honey!"

"Hi Lisa! I'm so glad you're here!" I hugged her.

I walked over to the car with her opening the front seat for her to sit in. Then I hopped in the back. I didn't want her sitting in the back considering what Chris and I did like 20 minutes ago. That's just weird.

"So mom, what brings you to LA?" Chris spoke as he pulled out of the airport.

"Oh I just wanted to fly out and see if you or Y/n needed my help with all the wedding stuff. And of course visit my handsome boy."

Chris blushed a little bit as he mom babied him.

"He sure is handsome, Lisa." I added, smirking.

"The handsomest, my baby boy." She reached to touch his face.

"You're making me blush ladies."

We finally arrived to Chris's house, and settled Lisa in. I didn't have to show her around because she's already been in Chris's house, long before I was.

"Wheres my grandson?"

As soon as Dodger heard Lisa's voice he came running from the living room, jumping on her.

"Hi honey! Oh who's a good boy? Yeah!"

Chris and I smiled at their encounter.

Later that evening, Chris treated me and his mom to dinner. Where we spoke about the wedding, future plans, and morals with Lisa. She gave us amazing marriage advice and just life advice in general.

When we arrived back home to Chris's house. Lisa had the idea to make chocolate chip cookies.

"Could you grab the flour Y/n?"

I turned to pull the all purpose flour from Chris's pantry. But my eyes were met with empty shelves, that consisted of protein powder, water, and Dodger's treats and food.

"Um, there isn't any flour, or anything that is."

Lisa walked over to where I was standing and began to laugh.

"How do you keep up with him Y/n?" She asked me.

"The real question is how you kept up with him." I responded.

We shared a moment and laughed our asses off. Chris was really another breed.

"You know hun, I'll try to scramble what I can, I mean he has eggs and milk which is good. But I'll need you to go grab the other things. And make sure you drag him along with you!"

I nodded as she explained. I walked into the living room where Chris was watching a game, laying on the couch.

"Hey handsome.." I straddled on top of him.

"Hey gorgeous." Chris stared at my lips and then back at my eyes. "Come back for more?"

He whispered slow into my ear, and I could feel myself getting wet. He could literally ignite me like a fire, with only words.

My cheeks were stained a light pink, as I played with the hairs on the back of Chris's head.

"I'm still waiting for you to let go." I whispered back.

"Let's go upstairs then." He grabbed my waist and sat me down on his lower parts. "I know you want to." He hummed against my neck, leaving wet kisses all over.

His fingers trickled up my shirt, he slowly caressed my back with his hand, making his way around towards the button of my jeans. I looked at his gold chain, that hung perfectly around his neck.

"I want nothing more but for this chain to dangle in my face while you fuck me... " I bit my lip. And reached for his hand that was about to slip inside my panties. I took it and rested it on my waist. "...But we're going grocery shopping."

He groaned and threw his head back on his couch, whining as he pouted his lips.

"Is that whining I hear Christopher?" Lisa spoke from the kitchen.

"No ma'am."

I was still on top of him, I mischievously giggled and covered my mouth as Chris was being scolded.

"Ooo, you're in trouble." I said in between chuckles. Whispering so only he heard.

"The only person who is in trouble is you." He whispered back. Grabbing my neck so I'd lean in closer to his face. "For teasing me."

I took this opportunity to push his buttons even further. I let out a small laugh and smirked at him. "There's nothing you can do now, is there?"

I saw his blue eyes go black. He didn't want to go to the store—what he really wanted to do was take me to his bedroom and rail into me like there was no tomorrow. And punish me for being such a tease. And I couldn't wait. Only the thought of him roughing up made me clenching my thighs together from the arousal.

I leaned forward, using my fore finger and thumb to grip his chin and kiss him softly. Chris let out a very quiet moan. I pulled away, and hopped off of his lap. As I walked back to the kitchen, Chris was smiling to himself, shaking his head back and forth. Amazed at my sudden change of persona.

"Okay, Lisa, we're headed out just text me what you need and we'll be back."

"Okay honey. Be safe you two." She winked at me.

It was around 10pm in LA, Chris was waiting for me at the end of his foyer. Playing with his car keys.

The streets of LA were sort of empty. But famous actors like Chris and I loved this, if the streets were empty then that means not a lot of people would be at the grocery store.

"Hop in baby."

Chris pulled out a cart, I smiled and stepped in laying down with my feet poking out.

"So what does my mom need?" He sighed as he rolled me in the store.

"Well since all you have is protein powder and water, we need actual food."

"That's why we came? Because you're hungry? Let's go get burgers then." Chris turned the cart around.

"You turn this cart around, right now mister." He obeyed me and proceeded to roll me further into the store. "Now make a left on aisle 10."

I placed a new bag of all purpose flour into the cart, next to me.

"You know, I can give you somethin to eat..." Chris said, a boyish grin appearing on his face.

"There will be plenty of that tonight Chris. Don't you worry handsome."

"...Can't wait." He bent down to kiss my forehead.

Chris walked and rolled me through the aisles, I picked up what Lisa needed to make her famous chocolate chip cookies, butter, brown sugar, chocolate, vanilla extract...

"Okay babe my legs are falling asleep. Get me out." I reached my hands up and Chris pulled me out of the cart like a baby.

"Jeez, your hands are so cold, doll." He covered both my hands with his. Kissing them. "Here."

He took his hoodie off and placed it over my head. It was a bit big on me but I didn't care.

"I know this is going to seem crazy Chris. But I think I love you." I said playfully.

"Do you? Thank god because I was worried you didn't since you know, we're getting married in a few days." He caressed my face with his hand. Analyzing my features.

"You know we still have to pick a song to dance to." I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him in closer, as we stood in the dairy aisle. No one else around, but a small old lady.

Chris smiled and pulled his phone out. Scrolling through his playlist and began to press play on a very familiar song.

He stuck his arm out.

(The melody of the song begins to play)

"We're in the middle of a grocery store Chris."

"And?" He raised his brows.

I found a love for me, darling dive right in, follow my lead....I found a girl beautiful and sweet. I never knew you were the someone waiting for me...

I smiled and took his hand which rested on my waist, mine finding a place on his shoulder as we slow danced and gazed into each other's eyes.

Darling just kiss me slow, you're heart is all I own. And in your eyes, you're, holding mine...

....Baby, I'm dancing in the dark, with you between arms, barefoot on the grass listening to our favorite songs....

...When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breathe but you heard it. Darling, you look perfect tonight.....

I closed my eyes and rested my head on his shoulder. Cherishing this tender moment between Chris and I. Feeling at peace. As if time had stopped.

...so in love, fighting against all odds, I know it'll be alright, this time. Darling just hold my hand, be my girl I'll be your man....

...I see a future in your eyes. Baby, I'm dancing in the dark. With you between my arms, barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite songs....

Chris looked at me and I smiled softly. He sang the last night bit of the song himself. And I melted inside.

"....I have faith in what I see, now I know I have met angel in person, and she looks perfect, I don't deserve this, you look perfect tonight...."

I couldn't help but kiss him. He's just the best. A real life prince. He twirled me around as the song finally ended.

The old lady began clapping. I guess she stood there watching us dance. Chris and I giggled. He stepped away from me and gave me the spotlight. Using his hand to motion towards me. I rolled my eyes and bowed.

"You kids are just adorable." She came up to us with her cart. Chris and I thanked her and watched as she walk away.

"I think we found the song." I whispered turning my focus back onto Chris.

"Yeah. Yeah we did...." He talked slow and quietly.

I realized that being in love felt like being addicted to drugs. But in this case I am addicted to Chris.

"...I fall in love with you every single day Y/n."

We shared a moment. Before someone I never thought I'd see again had to ruin it.

Chris was looking at something behind me as his face expression changed drastically. This made me wonder who was there.

"Chris."

"Jensen."

They looked at each other, not speaking another word.

"What are you doing here Jensen?"

"I need to talk to you Y/n. Alone that is."

"No. No way." Chris answered quickly.

"Anything you can say. You can say in front of Chris...." I said, holding chris's hand.

Jensen let out a scoff. "Yeah I don't think you want me to do that. Especially since your bro—"

"That's enough." I stopped him. I walked over to him and pulled him away from Chris.

"...what about my brother? I haven't seen him since a few months ago." I lied.

"How long have you known that he's been selling?" He asked. I was shocked, how many other people knew about my brother but me?

"I-I don't know what you're talking about." I lied again. "I haven't spoken to him."

"C'mon Y/n, that's bull, I know he threatened you."

"What the fuck Jensen? How do you know all this?"

"Because I was the one who got your clothes from your condo."

My eyes widened.

"What? That doesn't make any sense." I tried to connect the dots in my head. "Unless, but that means..."

"Yes, Y/n. I work for your brother."

"What the fuck." I said under my breath.

"I've been following you because. I have to warn you."

"No, stop talking. We're you working for my brother when we hung out? Did you know what he was doing?! Were you apart of it?!" My eyes narrowing.

"Y-yes. I knew about your brother when we went out. But that's not what I'm here to tell you. If you don't follow the condition, JB is seriously going to hurt Chris. And he won't hesitate to do it. So I suggest you be extra careful because you know, I-I wouldn't want you to get hurt."

"You know about the condition?" I stared at the Jensen's green eyes.

"We have to go Y/n." Chris spoke, clearly getting annoyed at Jensen's and I's long conversation.

"I'll be right there Chris." I answered him. Turning my head back to Jensen. "Thank you Jensen. Um, yeah, thank you."

I walked away back to Chris. We paid all the ingredients. And headed back home. He was quiet on the car ride back and I knew he was a little mad.

"Chris? Are you okay?"

"Yeah. It's just I didn't know we were keeping secrets from each other."

"We aren't." I said

"Oh yeah? Then what did you and Jensen talk about?"

"Mm, about Liam." I lied again. "He's thinking of retiring and Jensen just wanted to let me know."

Chris's eyes softened. He didn't know whether to believe me or not. But I think he was—believing me.

"Sorry doll, I just get a certain way, you know that."

"Yes I know handsome. And you don't have to because I'm here. I've always been here...."

I picked his hand up and kissed it.

"...Chris I want you to know that I will sacrifice anything, to keep you safe. You understand? You're the most treasured thing in my life and I just. I just love you. And I will do anything for you."

He smiled at me. "And I love you baby. I'll do absolutely anything for you too, because you drive me crazy."

When we made it home, we made delicious chocolate chip cookies with Lisa. Chris making us laugh with his jokes. God, I will never get tired of hearing his laugh.

"So Y/n, are you going to move in after the wedding?" Lisa asked taking out the cookies from the oven.

"Yes. I'm planning on fully moving in. It's just Um, I have to say goodbye to someone back at my condo."

Chris noticed how sad I got when thinking of leaving Liam.

"There's a sweet old man at Y/n's building that is like family to us right babe?"

"Yeah. Oh Lisa, he's just the sweetest. Very kind. A father figure to me, since I moved to LA." I spoke.

"Well I'll have to meet him one day." Lisa smiled. "And, Um, forgive me for asking honey but are your parents flying out?"

Chris and I looked at each other.

"No. They aren't."

**DAYS LATER**

It had been a few days after we picked up Lisa from the airport, she was staying with Chris and I at the house.

Tomorrow we would be flying out to NY for the rehearsal dinner, then the big day is the day after. I can't believe I am marry my celebrity crush. It's so surreal.

The rest of Chris's family would be meeting us over there for the dinner. Which I hoped would go smoothly, considering Chris did have beef with his brother in law, Justin. And the Evans sisters were in a fight still.

The avengers cast was obviously invited to the wedding as well so they would also meet us over there. Scarlett and Lizzie along with Chris's sisters would be my bridesmaids. And Nikki would be my maid of honor.

I haven't spoken to her since my bachelorette party, she said she couldn't attend the rehearsal dinner tomorrow—so I called to ask if she wanted to fly with Chris and I. But she declined and booked a later flight to be there on my wedding day.

Chris's best man was of course Mackie and the other groomsmen would be his brother, RDJ, Chris Hemsworth and Sebastian—they had made up. And they were getting back to how their friendship was before, Seb confessed his love for me.

"Y/n? Honey? Do you like that one?"

Lisa pulled me out of my thoughts. Her and I were at a bridal dress shop, since I haven't picked out my dress, yes I know I'm getting married in two days. I can't help it, I procrastinate.

I wanted Nikki here as well but she claims she's busy with exams, but I knew that wasn't the reason. She's been acting really weird lately.

"Y-yeah. I love this one." I looked at myself in the mirror and the way this dress fit over my body, I just knew it was the one.

"You look beautiful!"

"Thanks Lisa."

I heard my phone ring in my bag so Lisa, pulled it out and handed it to me. It was of course my sexy hubby.

"Hi baby."

"Hey beautiful, how are you and mom doing?"

"Good, just wrapping up here. I think I found the dress."

"Did you? Can I see?"

"You know that's bad luck handsome."

"Right. Well. Is it at least easy to move in? You know for honeymoon activities?"

I could practically see his smirk.

"Christopher! You are so naughty."

"I can't help it...god I bet you're going to look amazing babe. I can't wait to finally say I do."

"T-minus 48 hours until I officially become Mrs.Evans."

"Pshh, please, you've always officially been Mrs.Evans. We're just making it official to our friends and the rest of the world."

"Mhm. Well I'm going to go pay the dress and hopefully it'll be ready before we go."

"Okay babe. You have my card right?"

"Y-yeah. But I still feel like—"

"Alrighty then, I'll see you and mom later. I love you. Muah."

"—I-I love you too."

He hung up on me. Sometimes I felt bad for Chris, always paying for everything. I certainly had more than I did when I started acting but I didn't have as much as him.

I changed out of the dress, paid, and left the shop with my mother in law. We had came in my car, so the paparazzi knew where I was. I put my sunglasses on.

"You don't have to answer anything they shout at you Lisa, just smile."

I walked side by side with her as we tried to make it to my car.

"Lisa! Lisa! How's it like having Y/n as a daughter in law?!"

"It's great. She's an amazing young lady and I am absolutely happy for her and my son. Now, please we're just trying to make it to the car."

She gave a mom look and the paparazzi backed off.

"Well what do you know, you should stick with me a little longer Lisa."

"I'll all yours honey."

I unlocked my car and we drove back to Chris's house. But I kind of wanted to take advantage of my alone time with Lisa and speak to her about something I've been nervous about.

"What do you say to a cup of coffee?" I asked.

"Sure."

I made a turn to go to one of my favorite coffee shops here in LA. One where Tom and I used to go to all the time—speaking of Tom. He's more excited than me for this wedding, always asking if I'm okay, if I need anything. He's the best.

We entered and the hostess sat us towards the back. Lisa and I settled in and took a look at the small menu that mostly consisted of bagels, croissants, hot and cold coffee, and tea.

"Hi, I'll be your waiter today, what can I get started?" Spoke the young waiter.

"I'll just have a coffee with a croissant." I handed the menu back to him.

"And I'll have the same."

I waited for the waiter to take our menus and leave to ask my dreadful question.

"So, Lisa, um, I need some advice."

"What's wrong?"

"No, nothings wrong it's just, you know I had a falling out with my parents recently so you're the only mom figure in my life right now. And I've recently made a life altering decision that could really come back to hurt me in the future."

"Mm, Well, what made you make that decision?"

"Let's just say it was an ultimatum."

"You are a very smart girl Y/n, and I'm sure it won't come back to bite later, but I'll tell you this, if you feel like the decision you made was the wrong one, then you should make amends with it so it won't hurt your future."

Our food and drinks came which ended the conversation right then and there.

Towards the end Lisa began asking me what Chris and I'd future plans were.

"Well, um we really want to star in a romcom together. Since we did the avengers movie, I think people really like seeing us on screen."

"That's great! I want front row tickets to that."

"Of course anything for my mother in law." I smiled. "Lisa, I have to thank you, really. For raising such a great man who treats me with respect everyday and treats me like a princess."

"Thank you for reassuring me that Chris is still the man I raised him to be, that's just part of my job of being a mom. You'll understand one day....."

The children remark bothered me a little bit. Just as Chris was desperate for kids, Lisa was also longing for more grandchildren.

"...One day soon?" She added.

"Y-Yeah. Of course. I'll get you those grand babies remember?"

I referred to when we were at her house back in half on looking at old photos of Chris. Where she told Chris and me that she wanted more grandkids, and I jokingly said I'd work on that for her. Knowing damn well I was a virgin—was.

"I can't wait!!"

We kept talking about lady stuff and wedding things until we had to drive back to Chris's house.

**BACK AT CHRIS'S HOUSE**

"Ladies..." Chris opened the door for us.

"Hi babe." I pecked his lips before walking inside.

"So I have a surprise for you two."

"What is it?" Lisa and I asked.

The sound of children laughing, and multiple adults talking from Chris's living room filled our ears.

Lisa rushed into the living room and Chris and I followed.

Chris's whole family was here, Carly and Stella, Shanna and her kids, David and Leona, And Lisa's brother who was a politician.

"Oh my god!"

Lisa went around to hug her brother, her son in law, her grandkids, practically everyone.

Shanna came walking up to me, engulfing me in a hug.

"Hey girl."

"Hi Shanna! Long time no see."

"I know kid! What's up with that! I thought I was your favorite Evans."

"That's not true Shanna. I'm her favorite Evans." Chris spoke, placing a hand on my waist.

"No I'm her favorite Evans." Scott approached us.

"Scott! Oh wow, it's great to see you!"

"So margaritas before our flight tonight?"

"Yes! For sure! I-I didn't know we were leaving tonight." I looked at Chris.

"Just give us a minute guys." He pulled me away from his siblings. "I sort of changed the time of the flight. It's just I figured it'd be better to be in NY in the morning, so we make sure everything is okay before the big day. And have the rehearsal dinner tomorrow night. Right before the wedding."

"C'mere." I said. He grinned and leaned down to kiss me. "Thank you for having this be the most easiest wedding I've ever planned. Considering you were planning behind my back."

"I was not. I just wanted to make sure this was an amazing experience rather than a stressful one, love." He responded.

Stella came running to tug on my jeans.

"Well, hello, Miss Stella."

"Hi Auntie Y/n."

My heart melted as she called me something she never has before. I looked at Chris.

"Chris! She called me auntie." I whispered.

"That's nothing. Just wait till she wants you to carry her all the time." Chris opened his arms for Stella to climb into them. But she shook her head. "You don't want Unca Chris to carry you?"

"No. Y/n."

I kissed her little cheek, softly. Chris groaned and began tickling her.

"Stop Unca Chris! Stop!" She giggled.

We played around with her and it made me really want one of my own. Maybe after the wedding, I can speak with Dr.Montgomery about removing my IUD.

"Chris would you get my phone? I want a photo with Ms.Stella here."

Chris pulled my phone out of my back jean pocket. He held it up and included himself in the selfie. Stella smiled, holding her baby doll up.

@y/n: Discussing flower girl duties with this cutie pie🥰 #almostweddingday

"So how was the flight Shanna?"

Shanna and Scott approached us again.

"It made me kind of tired but all worth it to see my baby bro get married!" Shanna smiled at me. "Are you sure you don't wanna walk?"

"Shanna!" Chris scolded her.

"Nope. I'm ready to walk. And marry the love of my life."

"Okay, well I'll have the getaway car ready to go."

"Shanna stop scaring her." Scott said, sipping his wine, laughing with Chris.

"That won't be necessary.." I let out a small laugh.

"I'll be the one in the drivers seat. All you gotta do is make sure to run in heels so."

David came out of no where.

"David, good to see you."

"Why are you guys corrupting my fiancé?"

"Please Christopher." Shanna and David winked at each other. I loved their relationship. "We are not doing such a thing."

I noticed Carly was by herself so I spoke with her for a bit. But when I got close enough, I notice something different about her physique.

"Hey Carly."

"Hi Y/n. Sorry I didn't get up to say hi. Um, its getting hard to walk my ankles are so swollen."

I looked at her belly and I didn't want to sound rude but she looked 7 months pregnant.

"Um, Thats fine. Are you—are you Um.."

"Yes I'm pregnant."

"Wow! Congrats!"

"Thank you. Justin and I have been trying for a second one for a long time and we finally did so."

"That's great." I wanted to ask where Justin was since clearly he wasn't here but I didn't want to be nosy. "I'm sure Stella will make the best big sister."

"Yeah, she's very excited."

**HOURS LATER**

The whole Evans family, and the kids we were all around the living room as we played board games.

We joked around with Scott and David like we do. They were so funny and fun to be around. Scott and I drank our margaritas too.

"So Y/n. Last chance to blink. For us to call 911." David joked.

"I have them on speed dial, you know I do Y/n." Scott added.

We all laughed at our inside joke. Expect for Chris's uncle because he wasn't there that time I flew to Boston to meet Chris's family.

"Why would she need saving?" Chris's uncle spoke. He's a very friendly and opinionated man.

"It's an inside joke, Mike." David sipped his beer. "C'mon on now."

I sat comfortably next to Chris, laying my hand on his thigh as he sat with his arms laying out on the couch.

After sometime of conversing, I could tell Chris began to get needy. I gave him a questioning look. He slightly nodded his head indicating the bedroom upstairs.

"Okay guys, well. Y/n and I are going to pack the rest of our stuff since the flight leaves soon. But since you guys are already packed all we have to do is wait so....."

I gulped. I was really in for it now. And with Chris's entire family here?! I was so screwed.

"...you guys are welcomed to anything in the fridge, my casa su casa."

"Wow babe, I love the Spanish." I nervously laughed. Not knowing if Chris's family believed him that we were going to go "pack."

"I learn from you baby." He winked at me as we stood up from the couch.

Our flight to New York left at 12am, right now it was 9pm. Which left plenty of time for Chris to do anything he wanted with me.

The rest of the Evans family stayed in the living room, continuing to speak with one another.

"We are already packed Chris. What are you talking about?" I acted oblivious. As we stood in the hallway.

"Shh." He pushed me back towards a wall. "You didn't think I'd forget about your little scene on the couch the other day? Did you baby?" He whispered into my ear, nibbling on the sweet spot on my neck....

~to be continued, of course...~
