Warnings: mentions of miscarriage, past trauma, depression.

• Y/n's POV •

🎄 Beginning of December 🎄

I throw a few of Chris's dirty clothes, a few of Nena's and mine into the washer.

I also managed to steal Sienna's stuffie, fifi, while she took a nap on her father.

It needs a good wash, it's covered in baby drool, dried milk, chocolate finger smudges, and I'm pretty sure the blotches of reddish orange are from the spaghetti we had for dinner the last night.

Our first dinner in Boston actually, we've been here about a day and I fell in love with this house all over again.

It takes me back to at time where Chris and I were fighting, I was pregnant with Sienna and had a scared when I began bleeding.

Long story short he surprised me with this dream home, and we spent the night here.

We haven't visited it much, not since Chris has been busy with work and I've been super pregnant with twins and taking care of a toddler, we're finally getting the best of this home.

Nena loves her new room, and we're in the process of having some things from her old room, in LA, be brought here.

So it kind of feels a bit new, and different without our usual decor from our old house, buts it's on its way in moving boxes.

And while that happens, Nena, me, Chris are all headed to Disney!

I can't wait to see the look on her face when she meets Mickey Mouse for the first time.

Plopping fifi on top of the load of clothes, I close the washer after putting some softener and detergent, I set the appropriate setting and watch as Sienna's fifi finally gets a good wash.

"She won't go down again," Chris appears in the doorway, holding a very awake Sienna.

Oh no, she must've sensed her cuddle buddy (the one besides Chris and me) was not with her.

"That's fine baby, just keep her busy and don't let her see—"

"FIFI!" Sienna shrieks, pointing at her favorite stuffed animal going round and round in the washer.

I bow my head down in disappointment, "—fifi," I finish my sentence.

"Dada!" She cries to Chris, "Fifi!"

Chris also realizes his mistake, "oh princess, he's okay, he's getting a little bath."

"No!" Sienna cries and demands to be put down, squirming her legs so Chris would put her down.

Chris lets her down and she waddles over to the wash, banging on the separating glass, "FIFI!" She pouts, her little eyes following the stuffed animal, round and round.

Chris is going to crack under the pressure, he's too soft for our daughter. Hates seeing her cry or in any discomfort.

Sienna bangs again on the glass, this time with her arm that's in a cast.

"Okay, we can wash Fifi another time." Chris stops the washer and pulls her stuffie out, it's damp, wasn't completely lathered in water or soap, not yet anyway.

Sienna's eyes glimmer with joy as Chris hands her Fifi.

Now she wants back in her father's arms. And her eyes start to get droopy when Chris cuddles her into the crook of his neck.

"I'm going to go put her down," Chris tells me, and leans over to gently kiss my lips, "sorry," he whispers, running a hand down my growing bump.

I smile, shaking my head, "it's okay, I'll find another way to clean Fifi."

Chris chuckles as he leaves the laundry room, with our daughter.

Things have been going well with the cast, I make sure to wrap it in plastic while she takes a bath, and even then I make sure no water is touching her arm. (Or at least try to)

But things are getting harder to do as my bump grows bigger, Chris has been an angel, helping around the house and taking care of moving, plus preparing our trip to Disney, and his mom comes too, which was a luxury I didn't always have in LA.

Our trip to Disney is tomorrow, we're all meeting at the airport and headed to Orlando. I'm so very excited for my baby girl to meet Mickey Mouse.

I walk to Sienna's new room, it's already furnished and painted and decorated, I remember the night I had a scare when I was pregnant with Sienna and Chris wouldn't answer the phone, because he was painting her nursery, which is now her room.

Chris is still cuddling her on his chest, rubbing his fingers up and down her baby nose and around her head, she loves it so much she starts cooing.

I step softly, my sock covered feet pleasantly hitting the light pink carpet.

I stand beside my husband, and I wrap my hand around his bicep, putting my head on his shoulder.

I watch as Sienna falls asleep, she's so beautiful my baby girl, I love her so much words can't even begin to describe what I feel for her.

Chris carefully places her in the center of the crib, tucking the blanket underneath her chin, he takes my hand and pulls my out of Nena's room after I quickly flip the switch on the light switch of her lamp.

"Ready for Disney?" Chris grins excitedly as he leads me to our bedroom, I'm so tired I can't even find the strength to talk.

When I don't answer Chris turns to face me, "hey...baby, you okay?" His voice soften and his face a worried mess.

"Yeah," I yawn as I look up at him, "just tired, babe."

"Come on, let's get you in bed. We have a big day tomorrow, my love," I love Chris always speaks to me in a soft and sweet manner.

He talks to Nena just the same, I love my husband.

I love him too much to watch his heartbreak when I tell him about what happened with Seb, I think I mentally drained myself thinking if I cheated or not.

When Sebastian kissed me...I still technically kissed him back, god I don't know. I will always be in love with Chris, he's the father of my children, I can't imagine being with anyone else.

But I know the news will crush him, I just haven't mustered up the courage to tell him.

So as I lay with him in our bed, our breathing slowing down as we fall into a deep slumber, I can't help but realize that I...

I cheated on my husband...

• Chris's POV •

I roll our luggage to the door, ready for when the car comes to pick us up.

Y/n is dressing up our baby girl, and we're just about ready.

My family is already in the car that's on the way here, my wife and daughter and me are the only ones left to pick up.

I can't wait to just go to Disney and forget about everything that's happened, and the best part is once we get back from Disney all our stuff from LA should be here and this house should start feeling like home real soon.

"Dada!" The sweetest voice fills my ears, and I turn to look at my wife and Sienna at the top of the stairs.

Sienna had two little pigtails and a Minnie shirt on with some adorable little jean shorts. Gosh, I could just eat her up, she's so adorable.

My kid is so fucking adorable and I'm not afraid to say it.

"There they are, my girls!" I cheer, and clap my hands, "oh! You look so cute," I can't help but laugh I feel all giddy inside.

I jog quickly up the stairs and take Nena from Y/n, and I carefully help Y/n down the stairs, she has one hand on her bump, the other locked with mine.

I'm going to make sure she takes it easy these few days we will be traveling. She's getting close to her due date and the last thing I want is her to give birth at Disney or something like that....

Which would be AWESOME, I can't say that aloud because she'd yell at me, but just imagine Disney babies?

A Disney birth story? - Awesome. But I must keep this info to myself because I know Y/n would not even get on the plane if I told her that.

I debated on letting her rest at home, and FaceTiming her when Sienna meets Mickey, but I just can't be without her, I want her by my side always.

Y/n's OB gave us the okay to go to Disney, so she should be fine.

Right?

• Y/n's POV •

Our flight to Orlando was smooth, Sienna slept the majority of the flight in her father's arms while I chatted with Lisa about my pregnancy symptoms.

She told me remedies that could ease my heartburn, and my back pain.

I want to ask her about what I should do with what happened with Sebastian. But that kind of conversation just didn't feel normal starting it in on a plane, with my husband's family.

Arriving to our hotel, I couldn't help but take photos of Sienna with every Disney character that was there.

Mickey wasn't here, but Donald Duck, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto were. So I took photos of her with them, and she was so happy. Trying to pronounce everyone's name and waving to them.

The characters were so sweet with our daughter. Pluto was actually a big Captain America fan because when he saw Chris he saluted him, and took Chris by the hand to show him an old Avengers movie poster.

"Say Bye Daisy," Chris says softly to Sienna, he's crouched down, with Sienna standing between his bent legs. As she looked up at Daisy.

"Bye Day-see!" Sienna says and waves to her, I catch it all on video for us to treasure forever.

While that happened, our luggage was brought up to our rooms and everyone was starting to get settled to eat some dinner and then bed, as we had a very early day tomorrow.

Chris's family was getting ready to go eat downstairs, but I was just so tired from the flight, I really just wanted to lay down.

"You sure you're okay?" Chris kisses my cheek as he dips his arms at either side of the mattress around me.

"I'll be fine, handsome," I reach to touch his face, "just really tired."

"Me too." Sienna says beside me, Chris wanted to bring her downstairs too but that would just mess up her sleeping schedule and then she'd be all sleepy when meeting Mickey.

And we can't have that. Not when Chris paid for this trip and our one goal was for her to meet Mickey.

Chris chuckles lightly at his baby girl, she's talking up a storm these days.

"Okay girls, I'll be back soon then." With that he kisses my lips and by the time he looked at Sienna she was puckering up lips for a kiss too.

He chuckles again, I love that sound, coming from him. My husband has a heart of gold and deserves all the happiness in the world.

"Bye Dada!" Sienna opens and closes her little hand, as Chris gathers his wallet, and hotel key.

"Bye baby," he waves back to her, "be good for Mama, while I'm gone okay? No binge watching The Bachelor with her, go straight to bed, young lady."

"No!" Sienna tells him playfully, knowing he's only joking too. Or she didn't understand anything he just said, either or.

Meanwhile I'm laughing it up, Sienna points to the door, "Bye Dada!"

"Ah," Chris clutches his chest as if he were hurt, "she wants me to go."

"Mhm," I nod, paying attention to the next thing Sienna does, "my mama." She puts her head in my chest, Fifi long forgotten a few inches away from her.

• NIKKI •

"Babe?" I hear Tom's voice echo in the halls, he's home from having meetings with his team.

Meanwhile, I'm over here hovered over the toilet, throwing up everything I've ever eaten in my life.

Life has been weird lately, I've dropped out of college, and I thought I wanted to be a detective, but I just don't think that's it for me.

I think there's a reason why life feels so still, so empty, I need to let go of my past traumas in order to move forward. Because I just feel stuck, just a purposeless blob floating in this universe.

I need to see my sister, but she's in Disney with Chris and the baby, I don't want to ruin their trip. I'll just have to wait until I fly out to Boston for Christmas to see them.

"Baby, you okay?" Tom approaches the bathroom, where Tessa has been lying there watching me retch over and over again.

"I think it was that takeout we had last night," I tell him, with no emotion and extremely gloomy.

My days have been stormy these days.

"Oh," Tom frowns he's been trying to be patient, asking what's wrong but I just can't tell him and I don't want to talk about it, "I'll go get you some saltine crackers and some tea. You'll be good as new."

I don't move a muscle as I watch how he leaves the bathroom, and I shakily bring the pregnancy test I was hiding behind the toilet into my line of sight.

Not Pregnant

The oxygen returns to my lungs, I'm not pregnant. Damn take out food.

I couldn't handle being pregnant anyway, I've seen what happened to my sister when she was pregnant with Sienna. And she also told me how much it hurt when that baby was trying to come out of her.

Now she's going to be delivering two, and very soon. I'm a blessed Aunt.

But that's how I only picture myself as, an Aunt, not a mother. Everything I've gone through with my brother, my miscarriage, my parents divorcing and literally disappearing from our lives.

Like they have a whole granddaughter they haven't met yet, and they don't even care to meet her. They rather side with my criminal brother.

I drag my feet on the floor, making my way back to the bed, Tessa following me, she's actually being nice and comforting me.

Guess she can sense I'm under the weather.

• Chris POV •

"Dude," my shoulders drop, as I look at my new tattoo or tattoos rather in the mirror.

I did go to eat with my family, but I ate quickly, then Scott and I drove to my very good friend, Gavin, who's a tattoo artist here in Orlando.

I texted Y/n telling her I was getting a few drinks with Scott, she responded with a photo of her and Sienna, each giving me a thumbs up, well Y/n gave me a thumbs up and Sienna just put her index finger up.

"Ooooohhhooo!!" I chuckle in pure happiness, they turned out so good. Just how I wanted them.

"Oh wow, Y/n is going to love that," Scott says as he eyes my new ink too.

"We should get going, I don't like being away from them for too long." I tell my brother, and I turn to Gavin.

"G, thank you so much, I appreciate it. You're so talented." I shake his hand and he pulls me in for a hug.

"You're welcome, Evans, thanks for coming to visit the new studio."

• Y/N POV •

I was watching The Bachelor, until Sienna wanted to watch Super Wings, so now we're watching that.

When my phone begins to vibrate, it's an incoming call from Tom.

As I swipe to answer, a text from my husband comes through.

Husband 💍: On my way back, baby. See you soon ❤️

"Hi Tom," I answer, keeping my voice low so I don't distract Nena from her show.

"Hey, Y/n, how are you darling?"

"Oh, I'm good, I just can't wait to not be pregnant anymore." I sigh, simultaneously skimming my finger down my bump, "how are you Tom? How's Nikki?"

"Good, well, actually not so good, darling if I'm being honest. That's why I called you. She's worrying me. Won't eat, she doesn't sleep, and she won't talk to me."

I frown, and my heart clenches at finding out that my sister isn't feeling her best.

"Tell you what Tom, I know she's supposed to fly out to Boston a few days before Christmas, but I'll change her flight so she'll be flying out as soon as Chris and I get back from being at Disney. I'll talk to her and find out what's going on."

Tom's breath of relief comes in on the other line, "thank you, Y/n. But how are we going to change her flight without her getting suspicious? She gets really defensive when I try to ask her what's wrong. She might freak out if she finds out we changed her flight just so you could get it out of her."

"I'll come up with something Tom, don't you worry." I calm him, "we're only staying the weekend so I'll be seeing her really soon. We'll get to the bottom of this."

"Thank you darling, sorry to interrupt your family trip." He apologizes, his voice sweet.

"Well, I can't do much these days with being pregnant and my due date approaching, so I'm here in the hotel room with Nena, so you weren't interrupting anything." I respond, my hand now playing with Sienna's hair, "I'll text Nikki in a little bit and let her know the change of plans."

"Sounds good, doll," Tom says and his voice gets quieter, "I think she's finally going to come downstairs, we'll be in touch."

"Bye," I whisper and we hang up.

Nena turns to look at me, putting her arms up in question.

"Dada?" She asks.

"No, baby, Uncle Tom." I explain, "Kiki is coming to see us sooner than expected!" I smile big and watch as she stands tall and claps her baby hands.

"KIKI!" She squeals, jumping up and down on the bed, and making happy giggly noises.

I hear the hotel room door unlock and sure enough Chris stumbles in, now Sienna's happy for a whole different reason.

"DADA!" She cheers again, putting her arms up high so he'd carry her.

He always carries her with his right arm, because ever since injuring his left arm on the set of Captain America: The Winter Solider in the helicopter scene, it bothers him to have weight on it.

But today, I'm surprised when he takes her and sets her on his left arm.

Immediately I knew something was...different...not wrong, just different.

"You doin' okay?" He says adorably, placing his hand on my bump, I put my hand over his.

"Yes, just so tired, I think I'll probably head to bed soon." I tell him as a yawn takes over.

"Okay, well, before you go to bed I want to show you girls something." Chris sets Nena back onto our bed and begins to unbutton his shirt.

Don't get me wrong I love seeing my husband undress himself.

"Babe, I like where this is going but shouldn't we put Nena to sleep first?" I propose, my eyes flicker down to his tattooed body as he shrugs off his shirt, "or give her to your mom?"

Chris laughs, "there'll be plenty of that later, if you want," he winks at me, "but I meant I wanted to show you guys something I got done for the both of you."

That's when I look down at his body again, he must mean a tattoo right? Oh my god!

Right under his pec, just under where Dodger's tattoo was, was Sienna's name with a little princess crown at the end: 𝒮𝒾ℯ𝓃𝓃𝒶 ℛ𝒶𝒾𝓃ℯ ♕

"Chris," I cover my mouth and do my best to sit up to take a better look. It looks very fresh. Like he just got it done.

"And I got this one done too," he points to the top shoulder, where a small sun flower was.

"For you," he whispers, "because you're the sunshine in my life and you make me happy. Always."

My heart swoons, god I love him so much. So so much!

My eyes tear up, because I'm so emotional these days, "Chris come here, you know I can't stand up as fast." I tell him while wiping my tears away.

Chris chuckles lightly, and approaches me, taking my hands he kisses them, then kisses me.

"I love you," he pulls away to say as he looks into my eyes.

"I love you more." I tell him, it's true. I love him so much.

"Not possible," he answers me, and leans in close to kiss me again.

Until Sienna was doing her best to separate us, and she let out distressed grunts, " 'top it!" She yells at us.

Making Chris and I pull away to laugh.

• Chris POV •

Last night as we were falling asleep, with Sienna between us, Y/n told me about how Nikki wasn't doing too good.

I feel bad, of course, that poor kid has been through so much. My wife asked me what we could tell Nikki, without making her suspect the change of plans.

That's when I told her about possibly saying we need help with Sienna as we prepare for the twins to arrive. And moving into the new house.

Y/n loved that idea and immediately texted Nikki, so now I'll be seeing my sister in law soon.

"Okay, just before we go in," I round up my family at the entrance, my wife is standing beside me wearing some sunglasses I gave her, and a beautiful flowy dress.

I'm holding Sienna in my arms, while my mom pushes the stroller, she insisted.

"I want to say that I love you guys, and I'm so happy that we could make it here for this little one to meet Mickey Mouse." I announce, gaining the attention of Sienna as she whips her head to face me from watching all the other people in the park.

"Mickee?" She says in her cute little voice.

"Yes baby, we're going to go see Mickey, are you excited?" I kiss her temple and the family and I begin our Disney day.

"Are you excited baby love?" My wife rubs his finger on Sienna's arm.

"Yes, Mickee!" Sienna agrees and smiles big.

• Y/n POV •

The first thing we are doing is going to meet Mickey, then I'll be sitting down in the shade taking it easy.

It was chris's idea, and I was against it at first until I felt the humidity here in Orlando, it was sunny though, but still so humid. And the forecast called for rain later too.

Chris's nephews and niece are excited to see Mickey too as they waited behind in front of us in line.

"Mickee!" Sienna points to where Mickey was meeting another family.

We quickly approach the beginning of the line, after Ethan, Miles and Stella go, it was our turn.

I was recording absolutely everything, Sienna's eyes light up as soon as Mickey waves at her.

She waves back too, and turns to Chris who's smiling so big, "Dada, iz' Mickee!" She tells him.

Sienna turns back to Mickey, who's pointing at the child size Mickey ears on her head. And then he points to his ears.

Sienna is a happy giggling mess, Chris brings her closer to Mickey, and Sienna doesn't hesitate to reach and grab his nose. Then his eye.

Mickey steps backs and covers his mouth, he then gently boops Sienna's nose making her giggle again.

"She loves you so much," Chris says, "we watch you all the time, right?" He kisses Sienna's temple but she doesn't pay attention to her father not when the actual Mickey Mouse is in front of her.

Chris puts Sienna down on her own two feet, and Mickey crouches down onto his knees, he opens his arms and Sienna falls right into them.

I get everything on video, my heart is so happy.

"Aw, what a sweetheart!" The Disney employee who takes photos says.

"Up," she tells him, and Mickey puts his hands up too.

Making our baby laugh once again, "Up!" She says it another time.

Mickey registers that she wants him to carry her, he leans down to pick her up, and Sienna puts her head on his shoulder.

"She really does love you!" The Disney employee says again.

"She really does," I smile at her and then continue to look at the interaction.

We take a few photos with Mickey, some with all three of us, and some with just Sienna.

Mickey made sure to point at my belly, and cover his mouth, I giggle, "we're expecting twins a little before Christmas."

He puts his hands at the sides of his head.

Sienna didn't want to leave Mickey's arms...

"Okay, baby, we gotta go," Chris rubs Sienna's back, I think maybe she thought that Mickey would hold her all day because as soon as she registers her dad's words she clutching onto Mickey's costume.

"Sienna, baby, say bye Mickey! Love you, Mickey!" Chris waves to Mickey, hoping Nena would start doing the same.

Mickey waves at her, and hands (attempts) to hand Sienna back to Chris.

She wasn't having it.

"Nooo!" She whines, her bottom lip pouting out really far out.

"Mickee!" She frowns as Chris takes her away.

Mickey taps her head gently and boops her nose again, waving goodbye.

"Bye Mickee," Sienna says sadly and waves bye as Chris walks away.

• Chris's POV •

Since Sienna is too little to ride the big kid rides, I left her just for a moment with my mom and my wife while I went with my brother and my nephews to the more intense rides.

And my sisters and niece joined us too.

I was constantly FaceTiming Y/n, scared that maybe she had gone into labor, and for this second pregnancy I am determined to be there for every second of the labor.

Considering I wasn't there for when she went into labor with Sienna. Tom got the privilege of helping Y/n into the car, of taking the hospital bag, of talking her through it, talking with the medics.

I want to do that this time around, I should've been there the first time. So im sure as hell not missing it this time around.

My wife would just chuckle at me, and told me that she'd let me know when exactly she'd go into labor.

The remainder of our Disney trip was great, I saw a few fans and I took photos with them. One of them even drew a painting of me, Y/n and Sienna which was awesome! Such a talented girl.

When I showed Y/n she said that was going to her office immediately when we got back home to Boston, but I told her I that I wanted it in my office.

So now we're fighting over the painting. Lightheartedly.

We're back in Boston, and the house looks great! So homey, and all our valuables from LA have arrived too.

I'm finishing up dinner, Sienna happily eating her spaghetti beside Y/n in her high chair, when my wife gets a text on her phone.

"She's landed, babe." She tells me, I'm going to go pick up Nikki at the airport.

I was going to just pay for a car to bring her, but I thought maybe it'd be good for us to talk alone.

Maybe she'll tell me what's going on with her.

Within the next few minutes, I put my jacket on and I grab my keys, I kiss Sienna's head and I kiss my wife's lips, "I'll see you later, baby."

"Drive safe, and text when you're there!"

~

Nikki was waiting in the outside part of the airport, when I pulled up, I flick my highlights at her and she stands gathering her things and approaches the car.

I walk out and jog my way towards the back, "hey, kiddo."

We hug but she doesn't say anything, nothing. Not even a sarcastic remark, or a "what? Y/n finally let you leave the house alone?"

Nothing.

"I got it, hop in." I motion her suitcase and I pick it up, placing it in the center of the trunk.

Closing it, I head back to the drivers seat, and we drove back home.

"So...how was the flight?" I break this suffocating silence.

"Long." Nikki looks out the window, her phone in her lap but she's not looking at it.

I don't know what to say for a few minutes, "Y/n is going to be so happy to see you, and Nena is super excited too."

I don't get a response to that, so something is seriously wrong. Maybe it's just me, maybe she'll be more open with Y/n.

I think everything that Nikki has been through is just now piling up on her, and she's having a hard time expressing what she's feeling.

I still remember the dreadful day that Y/n and I found her in the tub, and we rushed her to the hospital, only to find out that the baby didn't make it.

• Y/n POV •

"Dada!" Sienna bangs on the window with her cast, at seeing Chris's car pull into the driveway.

The garage door opens, and I pick up Nena to go meet my husband and sister, once they walked in I hugged Nikki tight, while still holding Nena.

"KIKI!"

Nikki approaches us, and pinches Sienna's cheek, "hi Rainey girl," not the same level of excitement that Nena had, but still she was so happy to see her Aunt.

Chris takes the baby out from my arms, and lets Nikki and I have a private moment.

"I missed you so much, Nik." I'm still hugging her, smelling her cherry shampoo.

"Missed you too," she says, hugging me just as tight, and I'm pretty sure I heard her voice break.

"We're going to have so much fun!" I assure her, taking her hands and squeezing them, "like a sleepover, but you're staying like a month."

Her eyes water, and she shakes her head, "I just...I just have so much to tell you."

"And you will tell me absolutely everything," I loop my arm with hers, "but you have a choice to make..."

"And that is?" She perks a brow at me.

"I can give you the tour of the house, or we can convince Chris to make us sundaes and we can talk in your new room." I smirk while she thinks it over.

"Let's go find your lover boy." Nikki leads me further into the house to find Chris. And I just laugh.

I could sense something was off about her though, not the same outgoing Nikki I know. But I'll be damned if i don't find out what it is.

Few minutes later, we were sitting on her new bed, eating sundaes. She still hasn't said anything yet.

She's sitting with her legs crossed on the right side, facing me and I'm resting my back against the headboard, sitting up somewhat.

"So, no police school?" I know she doesn't want to be a detective, and I'm here for every change of career she goes through.

At first it was nursing, then detective, and who knows what's next.

"No," she says after a while.

I sit up the best I can, and put my hand on Nikki's leg, "Nikki, tell me what's going on. I'm here to help you."

Her eyes water again as she looks at me, I know she wants to get something off her chest.

"I...I thought I was pregnant, but I took a test and it came out negative."

My heart stops for a second, so much is such a short sentence. And she's only just starting.

"D-did you want to get pregnant?" I ask her after a few uncomfortable seconds had passed.

"No, god no, I remember back in nursing school how wide our canals dilate when giving birth. I'm good." She gives me a smile, a genuine one too, "I don't even know you survived the first time."

"It wasn't that bad, when Chris got there it was so much easier." I tell her, scooping up more ice cream and putting it into my mouth.

"Honey, you passed out and they rushed you into an emergency c section." She reminds me, putting her empty bowl on the near by nightstand.

"At least I didn't die," I shrug my shoulders, I point my spoon at her, "that's a win in my book."

Nikki rolls her eyes but lightly laughs at me, she looks down at her hands, still there's something else bothering her.

"After, the loss of my first baby, I guess I'm scared of getting pregnant and losing it again. Which I guess, doesn't make me want to have kids. Which sucks because I know Tom wants kids in the future."

My sister had a miscarriage in the past, and my heart still suffers from a deep wound ever since that day. I'm just glad Chris was with me, to support me and Nikki during that tough time.

"Nikki, Tom will understand, he loves you so much, he'll understand why maybe not having kids right now is what you want." I place my hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah," she says quietly, wiping her tears that have fallen, "yeah I suppose."

"Okay," she takes a deep breath, "I feel a lot better."

"That's because you're finally getting it off your chest, what else is bothering you, Nik?" I ask sweetly, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Nothing," I don't believe her at first, but then she rolls her eyes at me and smiles, "I'm serious, now are you going to show me your super rich house or not?"

~ Days Later ~
🎄 Mid December 🎄

It's been a few days of having Nikki here, and I love it, she's there to take care of Nena if I need to go shower, take a break, even go to the bathroom.

Because I couldn't even do that without Sienna barging in and playing with the toilet paper.

Chris is out getting us a Christmas tree with his brother Scott, it's the start of mid December and we don't even have a tree up.

I can't have that.

As the days pass, my ankles continue to swell, and it's getting hard to walk around the house and do chores without getting out of breath, but I'm glad Nikki is here to help me.

"You okay back there, Scott?!" Chris enters, from the door that opens to the garage, holding the front part of a very large Christmas tree.

"Yeah!" A muffle voice calls out from behind Chris.

Sienna and Nikki wait patiently by the kitchen, watching those two try to fit a large tree through the mud room door.

I sit peacefully on my couch, with a blanket over my lap, watching some chocolate chip cookies that we made earlier today. Watching this all unfold.

I told Chris to just come in through the front door, since it's double doors. It'll be wide enough to fit the tree through.

But no, my man is stubborn and doesn't listen to me.

Now I giggle softly as they grunt and groan, trying to push this tree in.

"Tree," Sienna points, with her cast covered arm, leaning against the front of Nikki's legs.

"Yeah, Rainey girl, it is a tree. Which would've fit much easier through the front door." Nikki says sassily aimed towards Chris.

"Come on, Nik, pull on that side."

"I mean I guess," Nikki pats Sienna's head and leaves her to go help Scott and my husband.

"Come here to mama, angel," I motion for sienna to walk to me on the couch, so she doesn't get hurt as when they finally bring the tree in.

"Mumma!" She says in her baby voice and waddles over to me, I reach the best I can to pick her up, and set her down beside me.

She's now more interested in the cookie I'm eating, and reaches to grab some. I break off a small gooey chunk and give it her to eat.

Now we're both watching and eating as this all unfolds.

"These turned out pretty good, right, Nena?" I ask as I love my had to wipe the chocolate she had in the corner of her mouth.

"Gooooood," she repeats, emphasizing the 'O' and takes another little bite.

Finally they bring the tree in, Scott holding pretty much most of the back part, my husband holding the thick middle part and Nikki helping with the tip of the tree.

"Sweetheart, is here okay?" Chris points to the corner of the living room, where the TV and the couch was.

"Mmmm," I take my time looking around, making him suffer a little bit, for not listening to me.

"Babe," Chris sighs and takes his hat off flinging it to the other part of the couch.

"Right there is fine, babe," I answer and they put it down.

• Chris POV •

"Scott please stay!" My wife begs my brother to stay and helps us decorate the tree.

"Yeah, we'll make margs later it'll be fun!" My sister in law, Nikki smirks at Scott.

"Uh, Y/n can't drink," I remind her, and take a seat on my couch, exhausted from pulling that tree in.

Should've listened to my wife and went through the front doors.

"Doesn't mean I can't, Christopher," Nikki glares at me.

"I really wish I could stay guys, but my friend's birthday is today and we're all headed out for drinks." Scott explains, then a thought comes to his mind, "hey Nikki, want to come with? I'm headed there by myself."

Nikki plops up from her seat, then Sienna is crawling off Y/n, the tips of her fingers covered in melted chocolate which has now dried.

"Sounds like a good idea to me, I could go for a few shots." Nikki says.

"Shots!" Sienna cheers and starts wiggling her bottom and legs attempting to reach the edge of the couch.

"Go wit' Kiki," Sienna touches her chest and waddles to her Aunt, knowing she's leaving.

"Nooooo," I say and I scoop Nena up as Nikki makes her way upstairs, jogging up the staircase.

"Where they're going is no place for sweet little babies like you, Nena." I kiss her cheek, as she sits on my lap.

Her eyes wide, as she processes my words. Then a pout forms on her mouth, saying the words with much more force, "me wit' Kiki!"

"I'm sorry baby love, you can't go with Uncle Scott or Aunt Kiki, but you're going to stay with me and Daddy, we're going to decorate the tree! Doesn't that sound fun?" My wife talks to Nena, and my daughter turns her little head to listen to her mom now.

"ME WIT KIKI!" Sienna throws her head back, letting out the most fake cry I've ever heard.

She inherited Y/n's acting skills that's for sure. And even mine for that matter.

"Jelly bean you can't go with Kiki," I softly explain to her, now she's putting her finger in her mouth and giving me those puppy eyes.

"Wit' Unca Ott." She tries another way, and Scott giggles behind me, reaching to pet Sienna's head.

"One day, my sweet niece we'll go out drinking." He pinches her cheek.

"Uh no, there won't be any of that." I shake my head, laughing, "Sienna is going to be my baby girl forever." I smother her in kisses, briefly distracting her from what she wants and making her howl with laughter.

"Dada, stop," Sienna screams in pure happiness, as I continue to kiss her everywhere.

Nikki comes back down, sliding her jacket on. Then Sienna is reminded about what she wanted.

"I'll bring her back later," Scott announces, and walks over to my wife Y/n, kissing her cheek.

"Bye guys, have a good time." Y/n says and smiles at her sister.

"No later than 11pm, Nicole," I warn Nikki, using my serious voice but she knows I'm only joking.

I could basically see her roll her eyes at me, "whatever, Dad."

Nikki opens the backdoor and Scott follows out behind her. Sienna stands tall on my lap, "KIKI!" She reaches out for her Aunt.

I turn around, "you guys better go before she has a tantru—"

"NOOOO!!!!!" Sienna screams loud.

"—m." I finish, bowing my head down in disappointment, now Sienna is crying for real.

Scott and Nikki make a run for it, leaving Y/n and me with a screaming twenty month old.

Sienna crawls down my lap and heads to the backdoor, banging on the glass, hoping her aunt and uncle would come back for her.

"Babe, she might just need her milk," my wife looks comfortable on the other side of the couch. She looks so cute, pregnant and all. Makes my heart swoon.

"Yeah," I head over and kiss her head, then her cheek, making her giggle happily, I reach to turn her face towards me, I kiss her lips a few times, then I walk to the kitchen to make Sienna a bottle.

She's stopped crying, but now she's sitting down in front of the backdoor, Dodger beside her.

🐾 SIENNA AND DODGER 🐾

"I wanted to go with them!" Sienna grunts as she bangs the glass door.

"And Dada said no," Sienna turns to glare at her dad in the kitchen, but then her eyes light up as he puts formula into her favorite bottle.

"At least you got one of those round things that Mom was eating," Dodger wags his tail, "I asked for one and Mom said I couldn't have any chocolate that it would upset my stomach."

"Those were really good." Sienna confirms, "do you know when I get this thing off?" She points to her cast.

"I have no idea why they even put that on you." Dodger stands tall as he hears his food bag rustle.

Looking at Chris, he filled up his bowl.

"C'mere Dodge, dinner, bubba." Chris motions the bowl and Dodger wags his tail faster.

"See you later kid." Running to go eat his dinner, Chris heads over to pick Sienna up.

• Y/n POV •

Chris hands me Sienna, and I cuddle her on my chest as she drinks her milk. Then he's off to the foyer to get the Amazon packages I ordered with all our Christmas decorations.

"Mommy's baby," I whisper, and gently kiss her nose, she reaches up to grab my chin, then my nose.

"I love you, Sienna." I remind her, even though I tell her about 200 times a day.

Sienna takes the nipple from the bottle out from her mouth, "Wuv you, Mama."

"Babe, how much stuff did you order?" Chris comes in with an overflowing box filled with decor and ornaments.

I bashfully smile at him, "you said go crazy." I repeat his words when he gave me his card.

My husband laughs, "I didn't mean literally."

He takes out everything, and while sitting from the couch, I tell him where I want things to go.

Chris did majority of the decorating himself because it's hard for me to walk around without getting tired.

Once Nena finished her bottle, she became Chris's little helper. Bringing him things he needed and any tools that weren't sharp.

Then we were tackling the tree, Chris would open the new ornament set I got, and I'd help with hooking them onto hooks, which I would then pass to Sienna to go hand to her father.

After the ornaments I got from Amazon were on, we started placing some ornaments that were more personal and much more valuable.

Some from when Chris was a kid, some from when I was a kid, and one that we have when we spent our first Christmas as Mr. & Mrs. Evans.

Considering this is Sienna's first actual Christmas where she knows what's going on, I got this cute little ornament for her.

I placed her little baby hand into the white paint, and Chris held the ornament as I attached Sienna's hand onto it.

"Good job, baby girl!" Chris praises her as we look out how good the ornament turned out.

Chris took a photo of me and Sienna, holding her ornament and posted it on insta.

@chrisevans: let the Christmas festivities begin 😍 #wifey #jellybean

After the ornament dried, I wrote in glue: Sienna's 1st Christmas and dipped it in glitter.

It turned out so good, and once it dried completely Chris went and put it on the tree, adding the perfect last touch.

• Chris POV •

It's the end of a long day, we decorated the tree, and we made chocolate chip cookies, we made Sienna's first ornament.

"Good night, sweet girl," I kiss my daughter's forehead, rubbing my thumb over her cheek, she looks so peaceful sleeping, like an angel.

"Sweet dreams, Mommy and Daddy love you." I gently cradle her into her crib. And tuck her in.

Very quietly I step out of her room.

And enter my bedroom that I shared with my wife, she was lying there on her side, her eyes closed, her chest falling up and down.

After brushing my teeth, I cuddle in beside my wife, my hands wrapping around her and pulling her close to me, my hands goes over her pregnant belly, two of my angels are in there and I'm going to meet them soon.

My wife here in my arms where she belongs, and my baby girl sleeping across the hall in her room.

I just can't be happier.

"Mmm, love you, baby," Y/n says in the most sleepiest voice.

"I love you more," I reply, turning to shut my lamp off. Leaving us in the dark.

• Y/n POV •

"Chris," I rub my husband's chest, it's the middle of the night, but I'm really craving the frozen pizza we have downstairs in the freezer.

I had a dream I was eating it, and Chris was feeding it to me, and now I want it.

I look over at the alarm clock on his nightstand, 1:45am.

"Chris, baby," I whisper, I don't want to startle him, and for a second I debate on just going downstairs and cooking it myself.

When he flutters his eyes open, "you okay?" His voice deep and sleepy as he asks me, reaching to cradle my face, "is it time?"

Rubbing his thumb across my cheeks, I'll always love the way Chris touches me, and kisses me.

"No not time yet," I chuckle, "but it is the babies, we're hungry," I point to my bump. He just giggles.

"Of course you guys are. What do you want I'll bring it up, my love." He kisses my forehead and removes the covers from his body.

"The pizza we got at the store the other day, and I want you to feed it to me," I explain, as he helps me sit up against the headboard.

"You got it," he chuckles again, kissing my face all over, and then bending down to kiss my bump.

Then he was off to make my craving, and when he came back about 15 minutes later, with a delicious pie of pizza and sure enough he brought the whip cream too.

Don't ask, and don't judge, I'm pregnant with twins. And my hubby knows exactly how to take care of me and my weird cravings.

"It's snowing out," he tells me, "I can't wait to go play with Sienna tomorrow."

"Is it really?" I look at to the windows and sure enough it looks like a winter wonderland.

Chris feeds pizza to me and I'm in heaven, as he rubs my thigh with one hand. Once the pizza was all the done, Chris began talking to the babies, because I couldn't fall back asleep, and we also remembered we did not apply the precious bump cream.

"Right now it's snowing, and I can't wait for you guys to come out so you can play in the snow with your big sister Sienna, and you guys can build snowmen, go sledding, and drink hot chocolate with me and Mama! Doesn't..." a kiss, "...that..." another kiss, "sound..." kiss, "like...fun?" Two kisses onto my big belly.

The twins are going crazy listening to his voice. He's laughing as he tries to rub the bump cream on my belly but either one or both of the twins are kicking his hand.

"And I won't even be mad if you guys come on Christmas! That would be awesome," Chris smiles up at me, he's so adorable I could just eat him up.

"Or if you want to come right now..." My husband smirks at me, poking my belly, and watching as the twins hit him back, he giggles, "...your mom and I have no problem with that either. We're both ready to go. We're at home. The hospital bag is packed—babe!" He turns his attention to me, gasping dramatically.

"The hospital bag isn't packed," he gasps at me.

And I'm not surprised that it isn't, Chris and I have been so busy moving, taking care of Nena, going to Disney, decorating the house for Christmas, my sister coming to be with us for a while, it's been a lot.

"I'm going to pack it right now," Chris hops off from the bed, but then he moved back to the bed just to say, "I'll be right back, babies," to my belly and puts my shirt down.

I don't move a muscle and I simply watch from the comfort of our bed.

I watch as he disappears into our closet, coming out just to ask me about what shirt or pajamas I'd like to take. And I give him my opinion on everything.

Two knocks on our room, and Chris walks over to open it, it's Nikki, surprisingly sober, well maybe a little tipsy, when she greets Chris by saying, "hi Steveee!"

"Nikki..." I say softly, "...how did it go?"

"Fucking amazing!" She says loudly, and Chris shushes her, "oh! Right. Rainey girl is night night." Nikki covers her mouth.

"Well, anyway, I just wanted to say that there's some car parked outside, it was there when Scott and I left too." Is all she says before going to her room and plopping right onto her bed.

Chris follows after her, trying to ask her more questions, but no luck she's knocked out. Still wearing her going out clothes, Chris takes her blanketed which was folded neatly on her bed and covers her with it.

I can see this all happening because Nikki's room is right across the hall from ours, while Nena's room was the one next to it.

"I'm going to go check it out," Chris says, scratching his head.

"No babe, not alone, please." I beg him, my brother left a lot of trauma, I'm always alert and scared all the time.

Then we hear the alarm system speak into our room, "front door motion."

I swing my legs over, I'm not letting Chris go by himself.

"You're staying in bed, babe, please. I'll go see who it is." He demands and tries to lead me back into bed, moving the covers aside so I'd lay down.

But I march pass him and carefully make my way down the stairs. He sighs heavily and follows after me.

Chris stops me before opening the door, he checks the cameras on his phone, then he gives me a blank stare. As if he's seen a ghost.

"Who is it?" I whisper, crossing my arms.

Chris gulps, not knowing what he should do, then the person knocks again.

"It's your dad," Chris tells me and my heart drops.

I blink at him a few times, before I open the front door hesitantly, and sure enough my father stood there.

He looks the same as I last saw him.

I gulp down the ball in my throat, "dad?"
