I quietly went and sat down on the first empty seat i saw in my class. Then i furiously started noting down everything on the board. The teacher was really fast. Fast even for me.

"So kids todays class is done. And for those of you who don't know me im miss taka. Please call me taka-sensei" she said mainly looking at me."Now you all can head off to your activities but I'd like to have a small talk with kiki outside our class"

Ughhh what was up with this woman?

"So kiki welcome to aoba johsai. I never really had time to properly welcome you, did I ?"

"Thank you.", I said flatly.

"Well anyway, do you have any club activity you wanna join yet ?"

"Well. No."

"Ah. Well I think you'd like to choose sports huh? And with your height, I'd suggest basketball or volleyball."

Well I had already decided that basketball was a no even though it was the only sport I knew. So.. would I actually apply for volleyball? I mean that girl.. Rin senpai I think. She was the captain. She seemed nice. Yes. What could possibly go wrong ? I'd be learning a new sport that's all.

"I'd like to apply for volleyball taka-sensei"

"Well that was fast! all right! You may leave now. The volleyball court for girls is on the lower level just beside the one for boys. You'll see a sign don't worry."

I had no idea what was in store when I'd be entering the court. All I knew was I was just learning a new sport. Nothing I'd ever get too attached to and hopefully not something I'll hate.

When I entered a match had already begun. I saw Rin -senpai she was going to be my senior and my captain for the next three years.

"Oi Rin, it's a newbie!" Said an unfamiliar voice

I hated being called that.
