Morgan

-three weeks after honeymoon-

They were home finally which meant they had to pop the bubble they were in and get back to normal life. Kinda.

Having left almost immediately after the reception, all of their gifts were sent to their house. And goodness gracious were there a lot of gifts. They were everywhere from the livingroom to to the kitchen and taking up serious space.

"Where do you want to start?" He was sat on the couch and she sat on the floor between his legs.

"The coffee table then work our way to the kitchen."

"How much of this stuff do we really need?" He asked, grabbing a small box.

"Who knows? The things we get two of we'll give away, then we'll put the rest where it belongs I guess."

Though it wasn't too much room in the apartment was it?

She did kind of miss London. Her flat, the town's busy but fun atmosphere and all of the people.

But now that her and Colin were married; LA was the place to be. He loved LA and it put him in a good place to be when it came to practices and other football stuff. And she wanted him to be happy so LA it was.

And here she was.

"A blender,why did I see that coming?"

"It's customary."

Silverware.

Plates.

Glass dishes.

No originality.

About twenty presents in he grabbed a medium sized box with pink wrapping.

"To Colin or Morgan or whoever enjoys it the most." He read aloud. She turned and leaned up on her knees to watch as he unwrapped the box and took the lid off.

Red Lace.

A skimpy, see through, red lace bodice with thin straps. He held it up for both of them to see.

"Subtle." He dropped it back into the box before looking down at her, his eyes gleaming.

He sat the box to the side before smirking at her. She moves closer till she's kneeling between his legs, her arms sitting atop of his legs. He leans down and kisses her softly for a moment before breaking away.

"I think you should try it on." He mumbled.

"I would, but I have things to do and so do you."

"Things to do....like eachother?"He kissed her again and she smirked.

"No. Things like me going to get my hair done and a doctor's appointment while you go to the gym. Your coach is going to kill you if you don't start workouts." She mumbled.

"Why are you so right?"

"Welcome to marriage Mr.Kaepernick." she pecked his lips one more time before pulling away and standing up.

"We'll finish later. I need to get dressed." Though she'd really like to stay in sweats all day.

Ironically it was a bit chilly so today so she could get away with wearing her leather jacket. She slipped on her black jeans, black chiffon button up shirt and the new Adidas shell heads Colin bought her and grabbed her purse.

"Which car are you taking?" He asked as she came back downstairs. He was still in the same spot she left him. She grabbed her keys.

"My mustang," she moved over, him putting his head back against the couch so she could kiss him goodbye. "Love you. I'll see you later."

"Love you too, be careful."

*******

Harry

How long had he been moping?

Forever.

He had to get out.

But out meant seeing people.

He wasn't ready for that was he?

You have to leave sometime Harry. Start over, find someone new. She's officially gone.

He's miserable.

But maybe he should get out.

London feels a bit more bleak than usual. Everything feels like it's lost its color. It's cold and pale outside.

He doesn't want to call anyone because they'll tell him the same thing he's been telling himself since the wedding.

Get over it.

He needs a distraction. Maybe he should go to a bar or something. Call up a friend and just hang out for a while. Yeah, he'll do that.

But first he needs to make a call.

He takes out his phone finding the one number he's looking for and presses the call button. The phone rings for a while and finally they pick up.

Morgan

Her phone vibrates in her pocket as soon as she comes out of the hair salon. She still has some time before her doctors appointment so maybe she'll go get her nails done.

She clicks the answer button without looking and presses the phone to her ear.

"Hello?"

"Well hello Mrs.Kaepernick, how are you?" Sammie.

"Fine. How are you?"

"I'm good. Well, how's married life treating you? You didn't call when you got back from the honeymoon so I figured you and Colin were...busy."

"It's fine. We settled in again and we opened some of the gifts we got."

"That's nice. Do you like LA?"

"Yeah...of course."

"That didn't sound too confident." She sighed, looking around for a moment. It wasn't a camera in sight so she felt a bit at ease to talk to her best friend.

"I miss London." She answers, truthfully. "I mean I moved to the UK because I was done with the states and yet here I am again."

"Aw honey, London misses you too. Have you told Colin about this?"

"No. We talked about it before we got married and decided we should stay in LA. It's good for football and it's makes him happy."

"What about what makes you happy?" She asked.

"He's done a lot for me, he does alot for me. It's the least I can do to move to LA for him."

"True. Maybe it's just weird for you to be back in the U.S.? You did live here in London for a while so going back home somewhat is odd. Maybe you just have to get use to it ya know?"

"Yeah, maybe that's it."

"It'll be fine. Have fun, you deserve it. Explore."

"I will."

"Love ya bub."

"Love you too. I'll call you later. Bye." They hung up and she sighed.

Now, for her nails.

"How was the honeymoon?"

"Great. We went to Hawaii them Rome. It was fun." She kind of hated the doctor's office but she'd rather just get her physical over with.

Dr.Jones was a new fresh face compared to her other Doctor in London. She was a small black woman with long brown hair and dark green eyes. She was kind and she made her feel comfortable.

"Good. I'm glad you had fun. Alright, take a deep breath..." she checked her heart and her chest and what not before she was instructed to lay back across the examining table.

She pressed against her hip bones and what not before checking her stomach and things. She had to give samples for everything and soon enough she was on her way.

Maybe she should go out to eat. Was Colin done yet? Maybe she should just have a her day. Yeah, that could be fun right? A day of pampering and shopping would do her good.

Her phone vibrated again but this time it was from an unknown number. She answered anyway.

"Hello?"

"Morgan, this is Dr.Jones."

"Oh, hi Dr.Jones. is everything okay?" Why was she calling? She just left.

"Yes. Everything is alright. I just got the results back from the urine sample and I've just discovered something interesting..."

"Okay?"

"Well, from what my chart reads; You're pregnant Morgan. Congratulations."
