Harper's Pov

A thunderous growl bounced through the trees sending birds shooting into the sky.
The heavy weight of the wolf was lifted off me in seconds.
My body violently jolted upwards letting the cold air flood my burning lungs as I coughed up a large amount of water.
Another ear-piercing roar of anger drew my blurred vision towards the opposite side of the clearing.
The mutt had been pinned down by an enormous jet-black wolf. 
Its silky dark fur reflected off the little sun that had managed to break through the canopy of leaves.
Its eyes were a mix of black gold and a deep hazel colour and it was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen.
Even with blurred vision, it stood out from everything else. 

I rubbed my eyes clearing my vision to see it growling and snapping down at the smaller weaker wolf.
Something inside me felt sorry for it...
That was until I remembered it almost killed me.
Karma takes no prisoners.
A deafening yelp of pain flew across the small patch of land causing my head to snap back towards the two wolves.
The smaller wolf was now laid on the floor lifeless and limp as a small pool of blood began seeping from its neck and trickling down towards the stream only to disappear in the water.
Its eyes were no longer red.
They were a pale brown that no longer held any expression.
Its mouth was slightly open revealing its dark yellow and red stained teeth that stuck out from its mouth.
A lump formed in my throat as I looked at the scene in front of me.
The larger wolf slowly stalked towards me.
I instantly shot up and started backing up slowly trying not to aggravate it anymore.
My back hit a tree and I sunk to the floor and began sobbing quietly.
A quiet whining followed me soon after making me lift my head. 
The wolf had laid down in front of me its now dark hazel eyes flooded with sadness reminding me of someone.
I flinched as It began moving closer to me and it instantly stopped and began whimpering again.
I closed my eyes and turned my head to the side as I carefully stuck my hand out towards the animal in front of me.
I scrunched my face up getting ready for the pain about to come.
Instead, I felt something wet on my hand then something soft and silky run through my fingers.
Peering back towards the wolf I see it nuzzling against my hand making a small giggle escape from my lips.
Its tail began wagging as I began stroking and petting it gently.
After a while, it backed away making me tilt me head slightly to the side in curiosity.
The sound of snapping boned made me cringe as I covered my ears and closed my eyes tightly.
"Harper" The sound of my name being called made me force open my eyes.
"Heyden" Stood in nothing but a pair of shorts Hayden stood in front of me were the wolf was sitting only moments ago.
"Hey did you see where my wolf friend went?" I frown standing up.
I brushed of bits of fur and dirt before thinking.
"Wait how did you get here!?" I question quickly.
"There is something I need to tell you" He sighs deeply before sitting down on the floor.
Me heart began racing and tears brimmed in my eyes.
He had another girl after all.
He was going to leave me for a better prettier girl and I will be all alone again.
Hot tears began staining my cheeks as I fell down beside him.
"I hope you are happy together" I whisper making him frown.
"I'm not leaving you Harps" He smiles pulling me into his side.
"Your not?" I whimper snuggling into his side.
"Nope. Your stuck with me" He chuckles hugging me closely.
"What were you going to say then?" My small voice was muffled but he somehow still managed to hear.
"It's hard to explain" He mumbles scratching the back of his neck.
"What it's not like you're a vampire" I giggle pulling away from his side to look at his face.
His expression turned cold and blank.
"I'm not a vampire" He paused and took a deep breath "I'm a werewolf"
I held my breath before letting out an obnoxiously loud laugh that died down quickly.
His face was serious but the line itself was just ridiculous.
"You really expect me to believe you?" I giggle.
His face was unreadable as he stood up and moved away slightly.
Again the sound of bones cracking forced me eyes shut and my hands to cover my ears.
Glancing back in the spot were Heyden was sat my wolf friend.
"Heyden?" I frown scrunching my eyebrows together.
"Heyden you can come out now" I shout a bit louder thank before.
"HEYDEN WERE DID YOU GO?" I yell panick beginning to wash over me.
'Im right here' Hayden's voice echoed through my head and the wolf stood on all fours.
"How is that-" I cut myself off before screaming.

My head suddenly felt light and the world began spinning.
I began questioning everything and my mind gave up sending me into darkness.

So it has been a week since my last update.

Im sorry about that and its a bit shorter but I have been short on ideas.
