Kelley's POV
The first week of being on the national team was awesome. I've gotten to meet everyone on the team and they've all helped me become a better player. It was fun being around Hope and Alex more. Alex and me were planning on going back to Georgia for a couple days until the real serious training before Olympic qualifying. I decided to go ask Hope if she wanted to come with. I approached her room and knocked on the door.

"Hey Kelley! What's up?" Hope says.
"Hey Hope! Alex and me are going back to Georgia for a couple days. Wanna come?" I ask.
"I would love to but I think I'm just gonna stay here."
"Are you sure? We are leaving tomorrow."
"Yea. You and Alex go and have fun." Hope says with a smile.
"Okay." I said then left the room then went to Alex's room.

When I got to her room I saw her and Tobin sitting down watching a movie.
"Hey guys."
"Oh hey Kel! Come sit with us, we're watching Dear John." Alex says.

"Please tell me you already packed something for Georgia." I whispered to Alex.
"I will after the movie." Alex says.

Once the movie was over I had to actually pack all the stuff Alex needed because she was busy talking to Tobin. But we didn't have to pack much because we are going home.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow Alex."
"Okay good night Kel!"
"See you later Kelley." Tobin says.

The next morning I grabbed my stuff and met Alex down by the lobby.
"Wow you're actually early this time."
"Yea yea whatever. Let's go." Alex says

When we get to the airport we go through security as always and sit down and wait. Once our flight was called, we grabbed our bags and went on the plane.

After a couple hours of flying, we were back in Georgia. From there we called a taxi to drive.

"I never thought I would miss this place." Alex says.
"Same. It's really nice to be back here."
"We have to make sure every time we come back here we go together."
"You got it." I said.

Finally once we got back to our neighborhood we both went to my house first. We thanked the driver, grabbed our bags, then approached my front door and rang the doorbell. My sister was the one to open it.

"Kelley!!" She says excitedly as I give her a hug."
"Hey Erin!" I said. Then the rest of my family came as I give them all a hug along with Alex.

We stayed at my house for a while then we went to Alex's house. When we got to her house, her family had the same reaction as my family. I gave her family a hug as well.

After that I checked the time and it was 2 pm. Morgan should be at the field at this time.

"Hey Alex, can we go out to the field. We don't need cleats or a ball."
"Okay." Alex says.

When we approach the field we always go to, Morgan was there like I expected.

"Who's that?" Alex asked.
"Someone I met when you left for the national team."
"Oh okay." Alex says.

"Thought I'd see you here at this time." I said as I approach Morgan.
"Hey Kelley!" She says as she gives me a hug.
"Oh my gosh how are you? How's the national team?!?"
"It's been awesome. How about you? How have you been?"
"Great! I got in to UVA!"
"That's amazing! Congrats!" I said.
"Thank you!"

"And by the way this is my friend Alex. She's also on the team."
"I've read about you, it's nice to meet you. I'm Morgan."
"Nice to meet you Morgan." Alex says.
"Well you two are defiantly gonna be my favorite players! So what are you guys doing here?"
"Well we have a couple days off before our training resumes so we came down here."
"That's cool." Morgan says.

We talked to Morgan for a couple of minutes then we had to go.

"It was really nice seeing you Morgan." I said as I give her a hug.
"I hope to see you both soon." Morgan says. We said our goodbyes then went back to Alex's house. When we got to her house we had dinner then went up to her room.

"Okay, so what's the plan while we are here?" Alex asked.
"I defiantly wanna go to the beach for sure. Then we can just hang out I guess. Do what we always do when we are here." I said.
"Sounds good."

Before we went to bed we watched a couple of movies and talked.

"So do you have a thing for Tobin?" I said raising my eyebrows.
"No..."
"Are you sure? You guys seem to always talk to each other and always sit next to each other on the bus."
"Okay fine yes I do have feelings for her." Alex says blushing a little.
"Knew it!"
"Whatever. Let's go to bed."

We both got into bed and turned off the lights.

"I've missed these. Sleeping over, staying up late, and talking in the dark." Alex says.
"Same. Sometimes I wish we were still young and could do anything." I said.
"Well growing up is part of life and inside we are both still young and stupid."
"Very true."
"Promise me you'll stay young with me and not grow up to fast?" Alex said.
"I don't think I wanna stay young with anyone but you."
"Good. Goodnight Kel, love you."
"Love you to."

Alex's POV
The next morning we woke up and ate breakfast with my family. It was fun. There was a lot of laughter and conversations going on.

After breakfast, Kelley and me changed into our bathing suits and headed to the beach.

"This is the place I missed the most." Kelley says.

We both sat on the sand and talk about anything like we always do. Then we get our boards and go surfing. I would honestly say this is the most fun I've had this entire year.

Once we were done and getting dried up, Kelley's phone rang.

"Hello?" Kelley says. I stand there patiently as Kelley talks on the phone. I kind of got worried when I saw her turn away and talk.
Once Kelley hung up the phone she looked at me with a worried look on her face.

"We need to go to the hospital." Kelley says.
"Wait why? What happened?" I ask.
"My mom, she's in the hospital."
"Oh god. Let's go." Then we both grab our things and sprint to my car.

Authors Note: I know this chapter was a little slow but I'm building off it.

Hope you guys are enjoying the Super Bowl! Honestly I didn't like Coldplay and if it weren't for Beyoncé and Bruno halftime would have sucked:/ just my opinion:)
