6.5 |Honeymoon| Under Attack|

{note - first explaining the previous part OS 9 Zara Zara. So, it was totally to suit the lyrics. The Bold were lyrics, Italics flashback and normal for present. Some past scenes were written short without much description and then going to present time. Both had some misunderstandings where Haseena could not give time to him, which lead Anubhav hiding the fact that his ex is now his senior in HQ. This led to a fight in which she even said of separation in anger. In end they spend some intimate moments, talking out in the fewest words, forgiving each other with a kiss and confession. Last scene, Anubhav sleeps in her lap while she pulls him closer feeling warm, in the cool environment after getting drenched in rain}

CHALIYE AB IS  STORY PE AATE HAI.

An hour before the attack.

"phones aur signal ka kya karenge hum?", one of them asked.

"peechle do din se jaisi baarish ho rahi hai signals weak hai pehle se hi", he smirked. "Telephone lines hum kaat denge. Baaki humme sirf 10 minute chahiye building ko attack aur apne control me lene ke liye. Blast ke baad logo ko us sadme se bahar nikalne me time lagega. Itne me hum sare raste band karke bahar mines bheecha denge...uske baad voh reporters ko phone kare, police ya army tak bhi...Humme koi farak nahi padega" He laughed evilly. "humara kaam hai is desh ki suraksha pe sawal uthana aur woh mumkin ho jayega jaha... akhir videsh ke naami log jo tehre hai yaha."

The group of trained terriosts got ready taking their bags having guns and bombs.

Present, At the Cultural Centre.

"Jaldi Jaldi...is taraf aaiye aap sabhi", Anubhav instructed to a group of people to get inside a large shop. His hand was tightly holding Haseena's who was carrying Yash in her arms. He heard the machine guns roaring again, aimlessly as if it was for fun. "Bhai sahab, band kijye isse jaldi", he instructed to the shop owner who was horrified and hiding under the cash counter.

Everyone sighed as the mechanical noise of the shutter going down ended. He looked back. Horrified faces. Muffled Screams. Silent Cries. Heavy throats and panting. Worry for their loved ones. Complains to God...

Haseena's eyes were swelling with tears. For the moment she was just a ordinary person who was scared to loose her beloved. She had already struggled a lot for him. All his intuitions have come true. He kept his hand on her shoulder. Her senses recovered as she felt him. Anubhav stumbled a little as she hugged him tightly with Yash in her hands. The little boy hadn't spoke a word till now. He wrapped one of his arm around her. With his palm he caressed the back of his head. Yash raised his head to look at him and then rested his cheek on his shoulder. Tears flowing down.

Anubhav's heart was beating in a frantic pace. He wanted to a live a little more with her, for his family, full filing the dreams they had discussed under the stars, with a cup of tea in the cool morning, after a run in the park sitting on cement benches or under the sheets, spending moments of love.

He bit his lower lip and closed his eyes for a moment before trying to console her.

"Haseena" He called her out softly amidst the chaos inside and outside. She snuggled more into his chest holding the edge of his jacket with her other hand. He pecked on her hairs.

"Ek baar bas...ek baar humari taraf dekh lijye." His voice was coarse as he tried his best not break down.
"Nahi!", she shouted and cried. "Aap jhooth bolte hai humesha. Kabhi khuch sahi nahi hota humari life me. Sab khuch sirf bigadta hi hai". He rubbed her back and then Yash's as he got startled with her loud voice. "Shayad yahi likha hai humare jeevan me Haseena...khuch suhane palo ke liye bahout sari peeda"

She looked up in his eyes, which too, were brimmed with tears.

"Abbu ki baat yaad kijye priye, Sabse aage Sabse pehle, Desh. Aur waise bhi unki Haseena bahout ziddi hai", he said with a weak smile. She nodded in a no. He blinked his eyes. She looked around to see fear struck faces and devastated familys.

All of a sudden he pushed her away, to get hold of a mid aged man who was trying to jump from the window, from 3rd floor...

Outside the cultural center

People were running, trying to escape the modern battle ground. A small team of local police has arrived but could do very little, lack of equipment and fitness. Barricades were put around the complex, area was evacuated and everything was lively reported to senior officials. On a intel by RAW & IB, already, forming of a special team had already began.

"kab tak wait karenge bade sahab ka?", one of the constable said to his senior. "haan. halat bahout kharab hai andar. Hum aur intezar nahi kar sakte". As they geared up and stepped inside the premises, a little explosion took place injuring them.

 Inside.

"Dekh liya aapne? Aapko kya lagta hai ki unhone hum pe bandok taan ke nahi rakhi hai toh hum kahi bhi bhag sakte hai? Maut ka khel hai ye bhaisahab. Koi mamuli gunde nahi attankwadi hai", Anubhav snarled at him.
"Toh kya karu main", he gave up on his knees. "Mere biwi - bache kaha hai...mujhe dekhna hai unhe", he cried.

"Meri bete ki shadi hai aur usse pehle hi sab khatam hojayega...phone bhi nahi lag raha hai idhar", another woman cried.

"Dekhiye aap sabhi log humari baat suniye", Haseena tried to calm everyone present there. "hum dono police officers hai. Humare husband, Anubhav commando trained hai. Aap humare saath thoda cooperate kijye. Aise cheekhiye mat...ya khidki se khoodne ki ya bahar ki taraf wali khidki kholne ki bhi koshish mat kijye. Hum charo taraf se phase hue hai. Kab kya hojaaye...humme nahi pata." She explained.

"Jhoothi tasali mat dijye humme madam!", a teenage boy shouted at her. "abhi aap khud ro rahi thi." Anubhav flinched in furry.

"toh? humare ghar parivaar nahi hai? hum logo ke pas dil nahi hai? khone ka dar nahi hai?", he replied back, angrily.

"Sun lijye aap sabh. Yaha se hum logo ki mrityu ek tarha se nishchint hai. Jaante hai na aap sabhi us tourism seminar mein kitne bade log shamil hai. Sabse pehle unhe bachaya jayega. Army ya koi bhi force yaha pahuch bhi jaye toh bhi unhe andar phase logo cooperation ki zarurat hogi", Anubhav added, trying to instill a fear, to fight.

"hum tere jaise afasar nahi hai beta. Sab logo me himat ho, zaruri nahi", An old feminine, crackled voice filled up the space. Everyone turned to look at its source. A lady in late 60s was feeding her grand  - daughter. Their was a content on her face that may be her last time was with her angel. But her heart sank thinking about the future of the 1 year old.

Haseena gestured Anubhav to go near her. He walked close to her and sat holding one of her grand- daughter's tiny little fist.

"hum jayenge Maaji yaha se bahar bas aap logo ka thoda sa saath chahiye". He kissed the baby's forhead, whose face still held the calmness unknown of the world's cruelty. He stood up only to find Haseena staring at him with tearful eyes.

Outside

The special team had arrived. Abhimanyu and Nandini were still on their way.

"kitne der lagega sir aur madam ko?" Joseph, the senior officer asked, running his fingers over his creased forehead.

" Delhi to Gangtok, Army flight takes 2 hours sir. They would be on land soon but would still take 40 minutes to reach this spot", a lady cop answered. "we dont have the damn time Huma. Instruct the sharp shooters."

She saluted and raised her hand to two men positioned opposite to the cultural center building. On count of 10, two shots were targeted but instead of the black dress terrorists, a civilian's body fell from the window.

"fuck!", Joseph. "abort this plan"

Few minutes later Huma connected him with Abhimanyu.

"how many casualities?", he asked in a no non-sense tone.

"Don't know the situation inside. After the blast  we have 7 casualties from our team and one civilian just when we tried to go inside"

"Helicopters?"

"Weather does not permit"

"wait till we reach. Emergency permissions granted. Blue print arranged?", Abhimanyu asked.

" Cultural center has been renovated in a while, for the international event. We have to contact the contractor for the proper outline. Government Mapping has a very basic plot map. Some time required", Huma replied.

" Is event ki toh be*** **od.

Jai Hind"

"Jai Hind", Joseph and Huma hanged up.

" I told you Sir", Nandini replied sharply. "Now its time to show your bullet game lady", he said, as both geared up for a game of respect and duty.

Inside

'' Hum bhi chalenge aapke saath Anubhav"

"Nahi aap yahi rehne waali hai inke saath". Anubhav ordered sternly moulding into a senior's role. "aap logo me se kiske phone chal rahe hai". Some of them raised their hands. "aap me se koi bhi live video bahar nahi bhejega, warna unhe yaha tak pahuchne me zara bhi samay nahi lagega."

They looked at each other and nodded. "aap sab prayas kijye bahar se madad mangne ki. Lekin be alert. Haseena se madad le lijyega. Apne parivaar walo se baat karna chahte hai toh kijye lekin kisi ko bhi yaha, iss centre ke bahar mat bulaiyega"

"Bharosa kar rahe hai aap dono pe sahab. Isse todiyega mat", the mid age man who tried to jump said looking in his eyes with a dwindling hope. Anubhav held his arm as if trying to promise.

Haseena stood near the window beside the shutter from where he would exit.

Flashback-
"Anu...kyu chod rahe aap IB?! Hum sab manage karlenge sath milkar...", Haseena said emotionally.

"Priye. Sach keh rahe hai hum...aapki wajha se nahi chod rahe hum IB. Abhi hum sachme saksham nahi hai. Mansik roop se thak chuke hai. Aap hi bataiye kya aap iss Behrupiye Mission ke baad ek baar phirse alag hona sehan kar sakti hai?" He spoke cupping her face in his hands. She nodded in a no. "Jab aapke mrityu ki khabar suni thi toh saase atak gayi thi humari. Jeene ki icha mano khtam ho gayi thi. Aur kaise ab hum kaam kare uss department me?  Jaha humare senior hi desh drohi nikle"

"Anu ek baar phir soch lijye", she asked keeping her hand over his heart. "Ek Agent ko har roop se fit hona chahiye. Jo hum abhi khudko nahi mante. Aur abhi hum khuch samay apne parivaar ko dena chahte hai" He smiled "Aur desh ki seva ke liye police ki vardi kaafi hai humare liye"

"Hum aapke, sath hai Anu. Humesha.", She kissed his temple. He hugged her tightly.

"Ahemm...", Ammi coughed knocking the door. Both blushed, seeing her teasing eyes.

Flashback ends.

HM's- PoV

"Nahi hogi", my husband whispered in my ears. I turned and hugged him tightly.  Yash too hugged him, I don't know why. He caressed my hairs trying to calm my anxiety.

Anubhavs PoV-

Us din IB chodne ka ek karan ye bhi tha ki ab hum apne desh ke saath apne pariwar ke liye bhi jeena chahte hai. Unke saath ek aam jevan, jisme ye dar na ho ki kab hume unse kabhi na lautne ke liye door jaana ho. Ek baar ye sab galat lagta tha. Lekin nahi, humara nirnay sahi tha. Hum sach me us samay mansik roop se thak chuke the insab cheezo se, jab humare uch adhikari ke gadari ke cheethe humare upar ude. Jab humne Haseena ki mrityu ki khabar suni. Kitni baar humne humari priye ko khoya hai. Aur aaj phir wahi khade hai.

"I love you, Cheeku", she mumbled. Her lips touched my jacket. Her eyes were red with tears.

"Hum aapko wapis aake, propose karenge!", I replied with a plastered smile. Just to see her smile. Maybe for one last time. I can promise her but the return is really in not my hand.

"Please Anu..."

"Matlab aapne soch hi liya hai ki hum shah..."

"Agar log nahi hote toh aapko bahout maarte hum", she said between her hiccups. I wiped her tears.
"Kam se kam is bache ke samne toh humme mat daatiye Haseena", I complained. I tried my best to make her smile but failed again.

"Ek baar has dijye, priye".

She kissed my hand and smiled. Making Yash stand on his feet, she saluted. "S.H.O Haseena Mallik reporting sir"

I gave her proud nod and instructed her few things before leaving.

Slowly her hand slipped away from my hand... She held Yash tightly and I knew she would have seen me till she could. The other men closed the window again through which I went outside the shop towards the hallway.

I didn't turn to look at her again. I simply can't.
