A man is standing leaning on the railing, trying to find some peace of mind, under the moonlit, cool night.
A woman comes and places a hand on his shoulder forwarding medicines and water.
"Phir dawai nahi li?", she said. "Haa bus lene hi jaa rahe the", he excused.

"Kabtak chlega aisa? Bhaiya", KS said, worried expression evident on her face. Anubhav gulps in medicine and lightly, side hugs her. Maybe here his heart could find some sort of relief from his guilt stricken state.

"Bas ek hafte ki hi toh baat hai...phir hum chle jayenge is sheher se...shayad samay sab sahi karde...humare liye bhi aur Haseena ji ke liye bhi", he stated and breaking the hug moved inside to sleep.

Opening the drawer he took out a photo frame of Haseena, kept it beside his pillow and tried to drift out to sleep. KS followed him and sat on the chair waiting for him to slip to slumber.

Her mind traced back to the day he returned.

FLASHBACK

On call,

KS: bhaiya...(She controlled her tears and rushed out of MPT to talk to him freely)
Theek hai na aap? Mission pura hua aapka? Koi chot toh nahi lagi...

Anubhav was cleaning his wound on abdomen area when she enters with two cups of tea.

(She starts to clean the wound on his abdomen followed by shoulder, when her tears fall on his hand. He wipes them off with his palms)

AS- itne kamzor nahi hai hum behna...roiye mat...kandhe pe sirf goli chu ke nikli hai aur ye pet ka ghav toh dedh mahine pehle ka hai, mission ki shurvaat me lagi thi.

KS checks his wound carefully analyzing it. It seemed a fresh cut, not one 1.5 months before.

KS- jooth bolrahe hai na aap bhaiya...dekhiye ye ghav bhara hi nahi hai...dedh mahina pehle ka nahi hai...

AS- sach keh rahe hai behna...aapki kasam.

KS- dawai toh le rahe hai naa aap samay se?

AS- haa haa...bache nahi hai hum par kabhi kabhi deri ho jaati hai...

KS-davai lene ke baad bhi aisa ghaav?doctor ko dikha ke ayenge hum kal...

AS- rehne dijye na behena faaltu me koi mil gaya toh aur pareshaani hogi...

KS- hum khuch nahi sun ne waale...chup chaap chal lena...

FLASHBACK ENDS

"Humara hi mati maragaya tha ki sagai vala din humne bhaiya ki baat mani...naa abhi Anu bhaiya ki aisi halat hoti na MS toot ti", she thought and picked up his medical reports. A tear escaped her eye.

She was feeling helpless and cursing her self for pointing a gun towards him that day. She might have saved HM's life but incourse pushed AS into ill health. She wished, she had wished him good luck that day, hugged him tightly and screamed out that she is proud of him.

(Note- Here makers to show Kareena forgot the brother sister bond of AnuShma...I mean it was great to take her side but what about her brother, whom she followed, who was her support. KS was the only one AS spoke his feelings...A gun was literally too much....No Bashings allowed. Peacefully type in your POVs)

"Aise toh bhaiya keh diye ki unke hone se hum sabko khatra hai par dur rehkar bhi unhone humari rakhsha ki", she murmured.

FLASHBACK

Karishma's phone was ringing endlessly. KarEena were driving back to MPT from a case. Her phone was left in jeep and she had gone nearby to a medical shop.

HM- kabse baje jaa raha hai...unknown number hai...kya pata khuch emergency ho utha hi lete hai

On call other side was AS.

HM- hello

AS- ( his heart skipped a beat listening to his love's voice. Tears formed but he quickly composed himself seeing his boss looking at him questionably)

He disconnected the call and dialed in again after some time, when KS picked up.

AS- hello KS, Hum anubhav bol rahe hai.
(She was about to speak but he interrupted)

Dekiye behena humare paas dedh minute hai aapko sab khuch samjhane ke liye varna ye call trace ho jayega. Humne apni sagai tutne ki khabar department me failayi phir bhi humare dushman aapke aur HJ ke peeche aa sakte hai...15 August ko vaise hi Luckhnow me khuch bada hone wala tha par ab jo bhi hoga MPT ke khilaaf hoga. FLASHBACK ENDS

Ensuring he was slept she left his temporary house. Whereas he only enacted to sleep. He was still awake and knew she wouldn't leave until he's asleep.

He took Haseena's photo frame and kept close to his heart.

He tried hard to sleep, failing again he had to gulp in the sleep medicine his doctor advised, but he hated. Memorizing an incident from the mission he shut his eyes tightly letting the pill take over his soul less body.

FLASHBACK (ANUBHAV'S MISSION GLIMPSE)

Anubhav was devastated. He was tied with ropes and a bomb, bruises and cuts all over but that didn't hurt him. His co partner and his mother were shot dead in front of him. All his hopes and strength died with their last breathe. He felt defeated.
He was losing his game, when Haseena's word echoed in his ears.

Shurveer vo nahi jo har Jang jeet jaye shurveer vo hai jo apni haar jeet jaye

Indian Flag flashed in front of his eyes, the oath he took to save the nation, the personal sacrifices he had made till date. A sudden boost of confidence in him he freed himself and taking the lifeless bodies if his partner and mother moved out before the bomb blast.

"aap kabhi bhi humari kamzori nahi thi...sirf humari takat", he mumbled weakly, under the sleeping drug.

Next day at MPT.

HM- ye lijye KS aapka sheer korma humare haath ka bana hua...vaise ye theek hai aapka humne mana kiya toh aapne Ammi ko keh diya.

PJ- Humme chugal khor kehti hai par khud shikayate karti hai...Vaise ek baat toh bataiye ye achanak se aapko MS ke haath ka kyu khana hai?

KS- aise hi...humara marji...chaliye ab hum nikalte hai chowk ki duty pe (She takes the tiffin) Shukriya MS.

(She leaves lying to them. She assigns someone else at chowk at place of her duty and reaches to Anubhav )

KS- saval mat kijye aur chup chaap khaiye...aapka zara se man nahi karta unke paas Jaane ka? Chod dijye ye zid.

AS- har chahne vali chez ka sach hona zaruri nahi hai.....ye baato ko phirse laana chodiye aur ye tiffin laiye....hum khana lagate hai...

KS- nahi hum laga denge aap jaiye haath muh dhokar aiye...

(He goes to washroom while She moves to kitchen when the bell rings)

KS- kisi ko bulaya tha aapne bhaiya?

AS- nahi...yaha ka pata sirf aapko aur humare boss ko hi pata hai....paas ke ghar bache honge...ball lene aye honge
(He replied shouting from his room, she opened the door to see a middle aged man with a file. She had doubts but thought him to be Anubhav's boss.)

KS- ji?

Boss( dudh vale devil 🙄😒) - hume anubhav se kaam hai
( He entered inside speaking coldly with a pack of files and laptop )

KS- haa vo abhi khane khaenge phir aap mil lena.

Boss- unhe bataiye ki unke IB ke senior aye hai zaruri kaam se.

KS- Dekhiye Sir, aapko unke senior hai toh pata hoga ki mission pe unko chot lagi thi...unka time pe khana zaruri hai.

Boss- humara unse baat karna zaruri hai aur vaise bhi vo ek commando hai...in sabki aadat hai....humme usse ek nayi jagha bhejna hai.

KS- (controlling anger) dekhiye sir...hoga aadat par humme doctor ne unke khane ka khaas khayal rakhne ko kaha hai...vaise aap naye mission ke liye aaye hai khuch der ruk jaiye...ka hai na jo aadmi apne kisi pathar dil senior ke kehne pe sagai tod sakta hai, apna pyaar parivaar sab chod sakta hai vo khud ki tabiyat kaha hi dekhega.

Boss- (ego hurt) saaf saaf kyu nahi kehti...aise ghumake kehne ki toh aapki aadat nahi hai.

KS- bilkul sahi suna hai aapne seedhe bolte hai ekdum...agar aapna vardi nahi pehne hote na toh batate aapko...ek baar .... ek baar aapne unhe uss din support kiya hota na toh aaj unki aur MS ki halat sahi hoti....pata hai aapko MS ki jo voh smile thi na vo aapke soch se kharab ho gayi
