"So what are your plans after retirement?" Daniella asked Sebastian Vettel as they both along with Mick and Charles enjoyed their dinner in a restaurant in Amsterdam. They were only a couple of days away from the next race weekend and Sebastian arranged this dinner with the three younger drivers to catch up.

"Be more involved with my family, attend more parents-teacher meetings," Sebastian chuckled. "Get a few more chickens and work on a bee farm...you know, that sort of things."

"But you are still going to attend races, right?" Daniella asked as Mick and Charles looked at the older driver with a hopeful look.

"Maybe...one or two races a year," Sebastian replied.

"Only one or two?" Charles slightly raised his voice, his eyes slightly wide in disbelief.

"It now feels like you are just abandoning us," Daniella commented.

"She is right," Mick agreed with Daniella. "But at least I will get to see you more than them."

"I think you should just pack and move to Monaco," Charles suggested. "Or to Maranello and take over Ferrari."

"You would love that, wouldn't you?" Sebastian smiled but also felt bad for the Ferrari driver. Charles has been giving his everything on track but the team decision and strategies always pull him back from a win or a podium.

"Or you know, take a year or so off and come back with your own team," Daniella childishly suggested.

"Then what will be the purpose of my retirement?"

"A one year vacation?" Mick replied.

"He is going to be mad," Mick said to Daniella as they quietly and quickly walked out of the restaurant, leaving Sebastian to pay the bill for dinner. "We did it last time as well, and the time before that."

"Why break tradition?" Daniella gave him a mischievous smile.

"You are a bad influence," Mick pointed an accusing finger at her but she just smiled and shrugged.

"So when is Sophie coming here?"

"I don't know, why would I know anything about Sophie?" Mick quickly reacted and looked nervous.

"Because she is your teammate, and you do know that I am aware of your relationship, right?" Daniella pointed out.

"Sorry," Mick relaxed down. "It has become a sort of a reflex now," He explained. "It's so hard to keep a relationship secret. I don't know how you and Max did it."

"We tried but failed, and now everyone knows about us."

"I knew you two would pull this stunt again," Sebastian came out, his tone was almost like he was scolding the two drivers.

"It was her idea," Mick pointed at Daniella immediately, not wanting to take the blame.

"Of course, it was her idea," Sebastian said in an obvious tone.

"Where is Charles?" Daniella asked as she looked behind Sebastian, trying to find her friend.

"I left him with the bill," Sebastian gave the same mischievous smile that Daniella gave to Mick a couple of minutes ago.

Daniella's face lit up and she high-fived Sebastian.

"Am I the only one innocent here?" Mick asked in disbelief.

"Probably."

Daniella tried to control her smile as she saw Charles walk out.

He looked at the three drivers and realized what happened.

"Thanks for leaving me in there with the bill," He sarcastically said.

"It's a tradition," Daniella smiled. "We do it to Sebastian whenever we go out for dinner."

"Next time you are paying," Charles pointed at Daniella as he tried to pretend he was angry but a smile broke out.

"Somehow she always escapes...so good luck."

A/N: Look at me posting another chapter after what I wrote in the last A/N. This is why no one takes me seriously 😅

Thoughts on this chapter? We got Seb taking his grid kids to dinner.

I am trying to bring the Race1 vibe back and keep it fun and lighthearted but not sure if I will succeed. I have set it as a challenge for myself so let's see how far I will go😅😅🤞

Also I know it's a Max fic but it will mostly show Dani's life with everyone (including Max) so don't be disappointed if Max is not present in all the chapters.
