Daniella walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her after a nice long shower. She and Max are back in Monaco after a nice vacation in Ibiza and visiting her family in the UK, and soon in a couple of days they will be returning back to their normal life and after a week and a half they will be back on the race track. 

"Toto called while you were in the shower," Max Verstappen informed his girlfriend. He was already in bed and was just scrolling through his phone. 

"You didn't answer it, did you?" Daniella chuckled as she got dressed for bed. 

"Of course not," Max chuckled back. "If I did he would have been here right now, dragging me away from your house."

Daniella couldn't help but let out a laugh. She went and gave Max a kiss before grabbing her phone to call back her boss. 

"I will join you in a few minutes," She said to Max before walking out to the balcony and calling Toto back.

Max can't help but laugh as Daniella sat next to him on the bed with a pout on her lips. Toto just once again called her to let her know about the extra time on the simulator. 

"I am really thinking about breaking up with you right now," Daniella playfully hit him as she put down her phone. 

"I am sorry, I am sorry," Max laughed as he pulled Daniella in his arms and held her close to his chest. "But it's pretty funny."

"It's not," Daniella argued. "You are the one Toto hates but he is punishing me."

"Well.. He can't punish me so.." Max pointed out. "And I don't think Christian is going to let him even lay a finger on me."

Daniella playfully glared at Max. 

"Obviously... you are after all the love of Horner's life," Daniella replied. 

"Okay, that was uncalled for," Max pointed an accusing finger at her and a serious look on his face but was struggling to hold his smile. 

Daniella brightly smiled and kissed him, half laying on top of him with his arms around her. 

Max kissed her back and gently laid her on the bed. 

"How much do you want to bet that Horner is jealous of me because I am with you?" Daniella joked. 

"I hate you so much right now," Max closed his eyes for a few seconds trying to get rid of the image Daniella just gave him. 

"I love you a lot though," Daniella pulled him back for another kiss.

A/N: I am already regretting choosing the "social media" theme. I tried it in Race 1 and didn't like it much because I spend a lot of time searching for the right pic even though it's not a big deal. Hope it works out fine this time.

 I think this book is probably going to be lighthearted and will have short chapters. 

Thoughts on the first chapter?
