Ace always knew they were different from their siblings. They never quite fit into the mold that their strict family had set for them. As Ace grew older, they came to the realization that they were transgender. It was a difficult realization to come to, but Ace was determined to live their life as their true self.

Ace finally gathered the courage to come out to their family, hoping they would understand and accept them. Unfortunately, their family didn't take it well. They refused to accept Ace for who they were, and even went as far as calling them by their deadname. Ace felt hurt, rejected, and trapped in their own home.Their parents decided to send Ace to a church camp, hoping to "fix" their gender identity. But Ace knew they couldn't bear living a lie anymore. So, they decided to run away from home and find somewhere they could be accepted for who they were.

Ace stumbled upon a place called Camp Half-Blood, a sanctuary for demigods like them. At first, they felt lost and unsure of themselves, but they were quickly tAce felt a sense of liberation and joy in knowing who they truly were, and they felt like they had finally found a place where they belonged.But their sense of freedom was short-lived when their parents found out where they had run off to. Ace was terrified, thinking that they would be dragged back home and forced to conform to their family's expectations. But to their surprise, Percy and Nico stepped in to protect them.

Together with the other demigods, they stood up against Ace's family, showing them that they could not control someone's identity or who they love. Ace's family eventually came to accept them for who they were, and they finally felt like they could be themselves around their own family.

Ace realized that they were never truly alone. They had found a new family in Camp Half-Blood, who accepted them for who they were and helped them find the freedom to live their life on their terms.
