Cinders and Magic (Harry Potter/Worst Witch Crossover)
Hermione grew up reading fairy tales and other stories as an escape from her Cinderella-like life with her stepmother, her father none the wiser because of Ursula's underhanded tactics. Then, she learned magic was real, that the fairy tales--perhaps magic being real isn't a happily ever after fairy tale, but more akin to the nightmares painted by the Brothers Grimm.Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter or Worst Witch. This is one of my ONC projects for 2024. This is written for prompt thirty-six, "'Fairytales are real,' and there couldn't be anything worse.." The Cinderella storyline provides the main elements, but there are also elements from other fairy tale stories. This also fulfills a prompt for a collection on AO3.
Buried Within (Lockwood & Co Fanfic)
Maisie's mother should have known better, buying a house on the cheap to renovate and live in, what with how things were with The Problem. A body in the wall means calling in a reputable Paranormal Agency, something they can't afford. Unless of course it's Lockwood & Co, or perhaps not, given some noticlbe peculiarities of the agency.Disclaimer - I don't own Lockwood & Co. When he was sixteen, Lu Ten thought the Fire Nation would change the world. At age thirty, he realized it wasn't the world that needed changing, right at the same time some of his not so clever life choices started catching up to him. It was time to become wise, like someone he greatly admired, even if he couldn't do anything with said wisdom.Disclaimer - I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender. This is both a giftfic for a good friend of mine, KelseyAlicia who encouraged me to go the route of Lu Ten/Ursa in my To Lose or to Gain series, but also an ONC project. While parts of this story arc are AU to where I intend on taking the To Lose or to Gain series others are not. The prompt I am using is number thirty, "'Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.' - Rumi."
Robin's Need (ONC Entry - Batman Beyond/Young Justice Fanfic)
The death of the first Batman sets in for Terry McGinnis - the Batman of the future as he finds himself unable to return to his own time, yet also involved in the life of the first Robin, someone he never met in the future. The path forward is definitely unsure, what with entities from different times existing at the same time and not actually making the universe implode, but there are definitely secrets Bruce never told him about. Making matters worse, there appears to be a bleed over from his now non-existent timeline, forcing him to face his past, or his own beginning as Batman on top of dealing with the first Robin.Disclaimer - I don't own Batman Beyond or Young Justice. This is a sequel to my one-shot Gotham's Need, but this is also written for Open Novella 2020. The prompt I picked was number fourteen, "the only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."

Finding Friendship (Bleach Fanfic)
Soul Society was ripped apart by the war with the Quincy. The war ends up having a profound effect on the children on both sides. The solution the adults come up with to help ease tensions between the children is to form a Shinigami's Kids Society. Disclaimer - I don't own Bleach. This is both my NaNoWriMo project for 2014 as well as part of the Bleach Writing Divercity challenge. It is for l-20, which is to write over 100k for a multichapter or series over one NaNoWriMo and the month before/after. Special dedication for this series also goes to Lucanite who wrote Shinigami Kids Society as she and that work are a major inspirations for this piece. Story diverges from canon plot as of chapter 603.Finding Friendship has been in the plans for around four years. The story was always planned to be one of the AU routes I would take with Softly Snowing. Back then there were not nearly as many young characters in the series, but now there are more.

Despite being over fifty years old at least Toshiro is still a child and despite being very smart his brain still hasn't developed in certain ways. So I wrote this piece where he had a stalker.

Beyond the Night: Beyond the Team (Young Justice/Teen Titans fanfic)
Robin doesn't want to be leader after the events which led to the Teen Titans disbanding, but there is conflict between Aqualad and Red Arrow regarding who will be leader. On top of this, the team gets - as Red Arrow refers to them as - another over glorified baby sitter.Disclaimer - I don't own Teen Titans or Young Justice. This is a part of my Beyond the Night series which is working its way into an alternative origin story for Terry McGinnis from the Batman Beyond series. I'd discovered myself needing to backtrack to earlier in the plot to make things work. This is the first story which won't be a one-shot due to the fact this is the first part which can't be told in the one-shot format. The one-shots leading up to this particular fanfic are Beyond the Night: Beyond Justice is the first fifteen one-shots.For those who don't want to dig into a one-shot collection rated mature (sixteen and up), here is what readers need to know.- The Teen Titans came before the Young Justice Team. The Teen Titans were disbanded because the incident with Trigon ended in a darker manner than the Teen Titans cartoon. While the other Titans got shipped off, Cyborg was left in a comma and a mess.- Barbara and Zatanna aren't the same age in Dick. Zatanna knew the Flying Grayson's but was the fiancé of Dick's cousin. Zatanna thinks the only member of the Grayson family left is Dick's uncle.- Roy hates the Teen Titans. He especially hates the "circus freak" leader of the Titans who happened to have posters in their room. What he doesn't realize though is Robin is said, leader. Roy's torn between respecting Robin as the first sidekick but also underestimates him.

I'm finally getting around to finishing this one.

This was written for Open Novella 2024 and is a giftfic for my friend Kelsey; it's also an alternative universe to my fanfic series To Lose or To Gain where the Fire Nation doesn't know how unhinged Ozai is and instead thinks he willingly gave his first-born son to his older brother.As for the prompt, I'm using prompt ninty-nine which resulted in this AU popping into my head, "The royal family needs a male heir to the throne, and they're willing to accept any boy, even if he's born to their least hinged relative."
