Sumi woke up fresh and happy, stretching her hands out and yawning, she smiled.

but wait, why is she fresh? on a school day?

She looked at the clock that screamed 9 AM, in terror.

Quickly running to the kitchen after getting ready, she tries running out the door, being 3 hours late is totally not a big deal.

A paper sticking out of the door, she picked it up and it read:

'Got a message from school that schools were closed due to some technical issues with the air conditioning make the best of today'

'Since when did the school get so generous?'

She threw her hands in relief.

Plopping herself on the couch with a large tub of ice cream, she turned on to her netflix

so much for making the best of today.

Shortly losing interest, she picks her phone to text Hyuck.

Praying to the lords this was the right house, Sumi rang the bell.

A girl answered the door, Sumi quickly look at the location on her phone and panics, "I'm so sorry i--"

"You're here for Hyuck, correct?" She asks and Sumi heaves a sigh of relief, nodding.

"Im Sookie, his sister" She introduces herself but before Sumi to return it,

"Sumi Baby!!!" Hyuck screamed, coming down the stairs and Sumi almost, almost smiles.

"Okay then" His sister said, she's been through his bullshit enough.

"lezgetit!!" Hyuck says, taking her hand and intertwining them.

It happened too fast and Sumi couldn't react right to anything.

Hyuck calling her baby then holding her hands?

"have fun on your date!" His sister said, waving bye but before Sumi could respond

"Oh We will!" Hyuck says, smiling at Sumi.

Sumi's heart did that thing again.

"oh my god, having fun is exhausting" Hyuck says as he slams the food tray on the table.

"It was fun though" Sumi says, looking up from her phone.

Hyuck bites into his burger, "i know you did not like half of the games i wanted to play" he says.

Sumi gasps, "No no ofcourse i liked all the games what are you saying"

Donghyuck gives her an disapproving look.

"as long as you had fun, Im okay with it" Sumi smiles and roses erupted in Hyuck's heart.

"Girlfriend material indeed" Hyuck mutters.

"sorry?"

Hyuck shakes his head, "but hey, the plushie i won for you, better remind you of me, hug it tight as you sleep" He winks and Sumi laughs.

"why can't I hug you all night instead?" Sumi asks, only realizing what she said later.

Damn right, Hyuck's blueberry slush came right back out, coughing and choking.

Sumi quickly whips out a tissue and hands it to him, smiling.

"please don't say stuff like that, it does things to my heart" He says, laughing, taking another bite.

It was so silent as they walked in the park near home.

"Why are we awkward lol" Sumi says, nervously chuckling.

Hyuck stops in his tracks as he took hold of Sumi's hands.

"I...." He starts and his heart pounds, Sumi's in the same rhythm

Sumi squeezes his hands and smiles, nodding, "I like you too" She says.

"Then leave the plushie and hug me instead" He says.

Almost instantly, Sumi drops the plushie and engulfs him in a tight warm hug.
