"Always look your opponent in the eyes when your facing them."

"Never turn your back on the enemy."

"Face them head on."

Those were the codes your clan followed. Obsessed with honor, even to the point where if you didn't follow the code you were shamed and abused. Unfortunately that was the case with you.

"Get up!"

Once again you were forced to get up again and again. The training sessions you had to go through every day were always one sided beat downs, if you cried then it would get worst, if you showed any type of emotion it would get worst.

You've been going through this pain for years. You've learned to control your emotions and hide them when you were told to. When you were born it was founded that you were the descendant of Sakai Jin. The samurai who abandoned the honor code to save everyone he loved. His people called him The ghost. Your clan despised him for his faulty tactics. The way he did things went against everything they stood for. So when your mother had you, the clan punished you for the actions of Jin.

You were forced to do everything correctly the stances, how to use cursed tools and quick thinking. You learned the four stances, water, stone, wind and moon. The training you had to go through for those stances was grueling if you messed up your form you would get punished and forced to do it until you get it perfectly. It was hell. You didn't have a say in anything.

Your clan was up there with the big three unfortunately they were behind. They hated the Gojo clan and wanted you to become stronger than them so they can take their spot as first.

Other than that no one talked to you except for your only family member no by blood but by bond. Your caretaker Yuriko. She was basically your mother. She would address your wounds after training. She feeds you and takes you outside. You loved her she was like the mother you never had. One day though she was planning to take you and run away.

You were ready. You waited for Yuriko to come to your room and take you away. When she finally came she picked you up and quickly made her way to her plan of escape. You started to smile, you were so close. Yuriko smiled as well as she reached the door "we're almost there." Before she could open the door. It flies open to reveal your uncle with a sword in his hand he points it directly at Yuriko's throat "what do you think your doing?"

Yuriko gasps and trembles as she holds you close "I-I- it's not what you think." She backs up as your uncle walks forward, still pointing his sword at her. The older female then back ups into a figure behind her. She turns around and sees the rest of the clan surrounding her with their weapons.

Her eyes shrink in terror "w-wait!" She is then grabbed as you are ripped out of her arms by your uncle "for your traitorous acts you are to be executed." The older female is then forced to the ground as she shrieks and thrashes, trying to get out of their grips.

You stare in horror until your uncle hands you a sword and starts to speak "Y/n as your first act of honor, you are to kill this traitor for messing with your legacy." You grip into the sword, your hands trembling. You can't do it you possibly can't. You clenched your eyes close but suddenly your uncle grips your chin making your eyes open. He then forces you to look at Yuriko "look her in the eyes, this is honor now kill her."

Yuriko stares back at you. She knows you don't want to this, it's her fault your in this predicament. She gives such a warm smile, you didn't want it to leave her face "it's okay Y/n." You shake as you slowly raise the sword, tears threaten to fall any second now. Yuriko keeps the same smile "my little samurai, it's okay we will be together some day I love you." You bite your lip as you go to put your sword down but your uncle rips it out of your hand and swiftly beheads Yuriko.

You can only watch as her head drops to the ground. The same smile still present on her face. You scream out in anguish as you go to reach for her hand before your dragged away as you kick and scream calling out for your once only support bean. She held you up she was your everything. Everything was taken away from you in such a short time period. You were then thrown into a room and locked in there.

The only thing you could do was clench your arms around your frame and mourn. You curl up and then your asleep from exhaustion. You wake up to the sound of something falling. You shoot up and see that your door is opened 'I could of swore it was locked..' you slowly but weakly get up.

You stumble towards your door, leaning on it you stick your head out into the dark hallways only to see a little lightning bug at the far end of the hallway. You start to approach the small insect only for it to go further. You have never been this far into the building. You follow the insect into a room. It was pitch black until you walked in. The lights turned on as it revealed a outfit and a sword.

You covered your eyes from the light before they adjusted. You then found the bug between the samurai outfit and the sword. You feel beckoned towards it. You get a sense as if you wore the outfit before. It all seems so familiar.

You trail your fingers over the material of the amor. You then carefully pick up the mask. You then slowly raise it up to your face and put it on. Next thing you know, you have put on the amor. It felt right but you were missing something. You faced the sword as you slowly picked it up. Examining it, you gently pulled it out the case. It shone brightly as it reflected the light in the room.

You stared at the sword, it's like it was speaking to you.

"Do you want revenge?"

You flinched at the voice. You quickly looked around only to see nothing. You then looked back at the sword "am I going crazy..?" You then heard the voice again this time more clearly it sounded like a male.

"I am Sakai Jin once known as the ghost, I seen what happened and this is immoral you and Yuriko deserve better, do you want to avenge her?"

You gripped onto the sword. You didn't care if you were going crazy. The voice we right you both did deserve better. You were tired of the constant abuse. The way they did things you had enough. You looked at the sword with raged filled eyes, you nodded "I want them to pay for what they did."

The sword started to flicker a light blue.

__________

Red was the only color you could see as you slaughtered every clan member, they tried to run away but were crossed with your blade. Blood was everywhere as you chased down everyone one by one and killed them off.

The last one alive was your uncle. You walked toward him. Your stare deadly, your uncle stood his ground as you approached him. The blood from the clan members dripping off of you and your sword. You're uncle shook in anger "you ungrateful brat! You've dishonored the code, your a monster! Just like Sakai Jin!" The male yelled out in anger. You only looked at him in his eyes as you raised your sword his eyes widened in fear "it is you! The ghost!-" with that your uncle was beheaded.

You then staggered towards Yukiro's body which hasn't been properly buried, you used the last of your strength to give her a nice grave where you two use to hangout outside under the white tree. You stared at the grave as you slowly laid down in front of it and passed out.

___________

When you came to be you were no longer in front of Yuriko's grave. You were faced to face with a older male who wore sunglasses, a dark blue uniform, he had a beard and brown hair. Once he knew you were conscious he spoke:

"I'm principle Yaga, how would you like to join my school?"
