"They're keeping a cursed object in a place like this?" A voice rang out through the silent night. A male stood in front of a thermometer shed. "Could they be any dumber?" Megumi spoke out as he reached the box, opening the door he looks inside only to see nothing.

He then falls into a state of panic as he then frantically searches around in the box. The force of Megumi's attempts cause the box to creak and move. The male then looks all around the box up, down, side to side you name it. He then closes the door and opens it back up most likely expecting it to magically appear.

"There's nothing here." He speaks on the phone. "Huh?" The voice on the other line speaks out in confusion. "The Stevenson screen's empty." The voice then comes through the phone again "For real? That's hilarious! Maybe it took a nighttime stroll." The male on the other side exclaimed.

"I'll punch you."  Megumi replied, annoyed at his Sensei's antics. "Well, no going home until it's recovered, okay?" Before the call ended Megumi heard a familiar voice in the background "is that Megumi? Does he need help?"  Then the line went silent.

Megumi let his hand holding his phone fall down to his side "I'm seriously going to punch him next time." He then started to walk away "at least Y/n-san cares."

"What's with this rugby field?" It was now the next day. The black haired male stood in the field of a school. He wore casual clothing, a white button up shirt and black jeans.

He watched the curse basically swim in the field "Is there a dead body buried here or something? Even if there is," the male watched the curse climb onto the pole in the field "i'm surprised to see one this high-leveled. That's probably a grade 2 curse. Must be that cursed objects influence."

The curse reached the top of the pole. The male then continued his search "Y/n-san could easily take care of that thing, they should really move up their rank but they won't." Megumi reached a set of stairs with caution tape at the top of it "damn it, Its presence is too strong to pin down." He then started to ascend the stairs "It feels like it's close by, but it could still be far away, too."

Looking at the picture on his phone, it seemed to be a wrapped up object 'This special-grade cursed object is a serious pain, who could of have moved it? Where is it now?' Megumi is then taken out of his thoughts by the students of the school cheering "over here!" One called out. "Coach Takagi is taking on Itadori from West Middle!"

Megumi dipped under the tape and approached the crowd of students "Wow what are they competing in?" Megumi watched as the coach and a pink haired male competed against eachother. I think we all know what happened the pink haired male won, being able to throw the weighted ball 30 meters.

'That guy's incredible.' Megumi thought as he took his gaze off the male 'He pulled that off without any cursed energy. I wonder if he's like Zenin-senpai..'  the male thought as he went to walk away only for the pink haired male to run past him only to feel a malevolent energy 'The presence of a cursed object!'

Megumi then reached out towards the male "hey, you!" But it was too late and the pink haired male was gone "He's way too fast!" Megumi then heard the students around him talk about the male "I heard he can run fifty meters in three seconds." Two guys walked past Megumi "is he a car?" Megumi could only stare in shock.

It was then night time when Megumi found the pink haired male in a hospital. He approached him "Itadori Yuuji, right?" The nurse and the the male known as Yuuji stared at him "I'm Fushiguro from Jujutsu Tech I'd like to have a word with you. Now." Yuuji then carefully replied "Um, I'm in mourning right now."

Megumi immediately dismissed the thought "Sorry, but there isn't time. The cursed object you possess is very dangerous. Hand it over to me right now."

"A cursed object?"

"This." Megumi held up his phone, showing Yuuji the picture of the object he was looking for. Yuuji leaned in close, studying the image "Oh, yeah, yeah. I found that." He then stood up straight before leaning onto the chair behind him "I don't mind either way, but my senpai took a liking to it. What do you mean, "dangerous"?"

Megumi then started to explain the fundamentals of curses "the object you found was one of them." Yuuji then raised his hand before speaking "If it's protecting us, shouldn't we be grateful for it?"

"Let me finish."

Megumi then continued to explain more about them "the object you found is a dangerous one,
classified as special-grade. Hand it over before people start dying." Yuuji then stood up from his seat as he reached into his pocket "Hey, I already said I don't mind that." He took out the box and tossed it towards the black haired male who swiftly caught it "So go tell it to my senpai."

Megumi opened the box only to find that there was nothing in there 'it's empty? I was just following the taint clinging to the box?!'  Yuuji went to go walk away but was abruptly stopped by Megumi "Where are the contents?!" The black haired male exclaimed. Yuuji turned around, a frown on his face "I already told you, my senpai... have it..."

Megumi sweatdropped as he clenched his teeth "what?" Yuuji started to explain to Megumi "Actually, they were talking about removing the talisman from it tonight at the school." Megumi slightly gasped as he took a step back in shock. Yuuji stared at him in confusion "What? Is that bad?" He placed his hand on the back of his head.

"It's worse than bad." Megumi looked at from the ground and looked at Yuuji very seriously "They're going to die."
