"Stop with the singing you're so annoying." Irene said under her breath.

"You're seriously the most boring person ever."

"I am not!"

"Are so." she wanted to counter but was stopped by the sound of her father calling her.

"Irene?"

She jumped out of her chair, leaving her room, and running towards the library.

"I'm ready for school daddy." she hadn't slept the night before but fortunately neither Sam, Dean, or Charlie noticed. "

Good to know but There's a situation baby and I can't leave you alone. I know today's your friend's sleepover and I said you should go but-" he was cut off by Irene storming out of the room and he followed quickly.

"Baby please just hear me out." She didn't stop.

Dean knew she had just found friends who actually wanted to be friends with her not just to bully her or use her and he had to ruin it for her.

"I'm so sorry sweetheart. Just please listen to me." She stopped turning around, frowning.

"Most of the time you won't let me come with you when I'm begging for it but now, of all time? the one day that I was looking forward to go to school; you say I can't?" Dean wrinkled his forehead in sympathy. He hated doing this but he couldn't trust his little girl with anyone right now.

"Crowley's going after the people we saved. And I think he might have sent a demon or two after you too baby. I can't jeopardize you in any way so I want you to come with me and Sam." she rolled her eyes, folding her arms against her chest.

"You have to teach me how to fight like you and Sammy. If you agree then we have a deal." She said solemnly even though Dean found her seriousness very cute. He bent down to face her then cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead.

"I promise. Anything you want." Irene smiled wickedly then went back to her room to pack some of her stuff.

"Why do you always let him convince you to do whatever he wants?" Jason's voice echoed through her head. She shrugged it off, answering without any doubt about her father.

"Because he loves me and he wants the best things to happen for me. So when he says I'll have to leave with them for my safety; that's what I'll do." She said proudly as she placed two of her books in her backpack to read on the way.

"Don't you ever wanted to know how dads would be like to you? If our places had switched?" Jason sighed at her question while Irene brushed her hair.

"Of course. I used to but there's no point thinking about it. They can't and even if they could they wouldn't wanna replace you with anyone." She smiled yet sadly sympathizing with her brother.

It had been a couple of days since she had found out about her brother and ever since they both had gotten along better. Irene was quite fond of him, he reminded her of Dean. Very Stubborn. Deeply she knew her brother could be a good person if she had any say in it.

"Daddy used to say he wanted to know how having a son would be like though he never pushed on the subject of another kid, then again I can't argue with the fact that they do love me. I'm pretty sure they'd love you too if they knew you." Irene smiled at herself and her brother.

"One day I promise that I will make that happen. But right now I just gotta go and get ready."

After a little more while she wore her jacket Charlie had bought her, taking her backpack and walking towards the garage where she was certain Sam and Dean will be. To be clear, she was right.

"Uncle Sammy, did you bring any snacks?" He nodded his head, smiling weakly.

"Can I call shotgun?" Both men turned to face her with the same answer.

"No!"

"So Kevin's gonna be here? How'd they even know?" Jason questioned his sister but got no answer considering Irene was way too busy focusing on her book to notice the two people talking to her. Sam and Jason.

"What are you reading princess?" Sam turned around in his seat to gaze at the lost girl. He chuckled, snapping a finger to bring her out of it.Β  She was quick to look up at him.

"What?"
Dean grinned at her innocent expression.

"I said what are you reading?"

"And I said how do you guys know where Kevin is?" Irene rolled her eyes mentally, answering her uncle by closing the book and showing him the title and the cover.

"I haven't seen that one ever since the apocalypse. Where did you find it?" Sam asked, taking the book from her. He had read that book a lot of times but they lost it after bobby's house was destroyed. Dean took a look at the book, realizing what it is, smirking at his smart girl who always went for the hardest.

"I Don't know. I just did." she paused before answering her brother in her head.

"Phone tracker oh also Calling helps." Irene sarcastically mentioned. The book was stolen from Sam's back by his niece. Her focus once again belonged utterly to the book before her father parked by the side of the road and got out.

She followed his actions,Β  following the men across the road. Kevin was unburying the Demon tablet which Dean had promised to give Crowley.

"You hid the demon tablet underneath the devil? Seriously" the older brother pointed at the Billboard above the ground. It was an advertisement billboard for a Diner named Dave & Paul's chili pot. Irene stood in front of Dean as he held Irene's shoulder, rubbing it.

"What? I was delirious."

"Hi, Kevin." Irene smiled brightly at the young man in front of her who was Panting exhausted yet mouthed 'Hi'.

The wind was one of the things Irene hated and right that moment it had to shake her untied hair. Dean knew about her hatred towards it so he used the tie around his wrist to make a small bun with her hair, making her grin.

"Thanks, daddy."

Kevin took both broken pieces of the tablet out of the backpack and put them back in their place.

"You sure this is gonna work?" Kevin asked the boys as he handed the tablet to Sam. The younger brother was feeling a little out of shape, not that he didn't have a good reason for it.

"What choice do we have?" Sam dragged a hand through his hair feeling desperate. His niece gazed at him worried. A moment didn't pass by that she didn't think about his wellbeing.

"Alright, listen. This is a secret lair, you understand me?" Dean let go of Irene's shoulders, taking out a small wooden box that had the key to their bunker in it.

"No Keggers." he passed Kevin the key deadpanned.

"I don't have any friends." the prophet answered with honesty.

"Alright well just lay low. Who knows, you'll be a mathlete again before you know it." Dean held Irene's hand between his own before they turned around to go back to the car.

Just as they were about to cross the road, Kevin's voice takes their attention, making them turn around.

"Hey, guys? You're doing the right thing."Β  Irene smiles, waving her free hand towards the 20-year-old.

"We're gonna be fine right?" she then faces her father as they reach the car.

"Damn straight we are, sweetheart." He kisses Irene's cold hand as she sits inside, buckling her seatbelt.

˗ˏ 🍧 ΛŽΛ—β€β€β€β€

It's the first time after Bobby's death that Dean, Sam, or Irene had stepped on the ground of Singer's salvage yard. They take a minute to look around the place and the damaged cars before hearing an unpleasant voice.

"Hello, Boys." Crowley always knew how to get their attention. Sam squeezes Irene's hand as they face the king of hell.

"What's that old expression? Success has many fathers, failure is a Winchester?" Crowley mocks, letting out a laugh while The brothers walk towards the demon with the young girl behind them.

"Where's the stone?"
Dean had warned Irene about distance with Crowley.

"Are you that obedient? Always listening to daddy, I'm such a good girl." Jason mimicked her voice, making fun of her. She frowned,Β  from her point of view none of that was true.

"Don't be such a baby. Dean doesn't control you, Irene."

"I do what I do because I want to. If this is the way I won't put my family in danger then so be it. Call me whatever you want. " the girl justified her actions with an angry voice. Not hearing her father and uncle's discussion with Crowley until Crowley threw a long contract in front of the boys.

"Yeah, I'm sure there are no hidden agendas in there." Dean frowned.

"The highlights. We swap tablets, you stand down from the trials forever." Crowley told them though Irene did think it's best if they read the whole thing before agreeing to it.

Jason had thought her a way to keep energizing Sam from a distance without him noticing. Whenever she felt a complete vibe of weakness from her uncle, she would just concentrate to help him get back on his feet and this was one of those moments.

"You stop killing everyone we've ever saved." Sam adds after a short pause.

"I know I said you can help your uncle but I also know that I said it would put you in a lot of danger. Using your powers in such a big matter before using them on smaller stuff won't do you any good." Irene shrugged off the boy.

"Our uncle! And it Doesn't matter as long as I help him."

"Agreed." said the demon.

Dean took out a pen hesitantly, leaning forward to sign it before Crowley yanked it back.

"Uh-uh-uh. Nice try, squirrel. Moose is doing these trials, moose signs." Irene and her father both frowned upon him.

"No, no-no. He's not signing anything until I read the fine print." Sam however didn't seem to mind because he snapped the pen out of Dean's hand.

"I can read it." Irene stepped closer to support her father.

"Hey, you wanted me here, I'm here. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna let him screw us even more." the older brother was just being as overprotective as ever.

"He's right Uncle Sammy." Sam smiled weakly.

"What's this? Trouble in paradise, boys?" the hunters exchanged a glance as they both slowly pushed Irene behind them.

"Let him read it, Sammy." Irene whispered in a way for the brothers to hear. Sam nodded with doubt but trust in her.

Dean doesn't need to know he had nodded twice because the second Irene opened her mouth he knew his brother was gonna agree to whatever she says. even though this was all just part of a plan to imprison Crowley, they all acted well except for Irene who didn't know about their plan.

it took Dean a while to read that long contract he was almost finished when Crowley interrupted.

"You're gonna move your lips the whole way up here, aren't you?" the older boy just gave him a short glance. His eyes found their way to the contract again.

"You know why I always defeat you? It's your humanity. It's a built-in handicap. You always put emotions ahead of good old fashion common sense." Dean was close enough to the king of hell to cuff him but still waited a little more.

"Let's have the big ballot sign in now, shall we?" Dean dropped the contract, turning around to face his little brother and his daughter who was about to be pissed that they didn't let her in on the plan.

Sam walked closer and was about to sign the papers after nodding in Dean's direction and just like that they had caught Crowley locked up to himself. Irene ran towards him but was stopped by her uncle.

"Is this a joke? You realize all I have to do is:" he then snapped his finger, hoping he would be free from the chains. Fortunately for the Winchesters, it didn't work.

"Uh-uh-uh demonic handcuffs, jackass. No flicking, no teleporting, no smoking out. Oh and no deal. Which pretty much means that you're our bitch." Irene stared at her uncle waiting for his explanation.

"Here I keep telling you that they don't trust you. See how right I was?" a frown forms on the girl's eyebrows. Her brother has a point, doesn't mean she agrees.

"I'm sorry Princess. We should have told you." that is when Dean gets punched in the face and just like that she doesn't care they didn't tell her anymore. All she cares about is her Dad.

"You saddled yourself to the wrong bull, mate." Irene tries to walk to him but is stopped when Dean punches Crowley back, taking the angel tablet from his coat and handing it to Sam.

"I could do this all day because you know what? Damn, it feels good. But sooner or later you're going to have to face it. You're ours. Which means that your demon ass is going to be a mortal ass pretty damn quick." Dean smirks at the thought.

"If they ever try to do this to you, I'll be gone, Irene." Jason drops a bomb on her. Her heart aches at the imagination of him gone. A few weeks earlier she wouldn't be happier but now she feels responsible, guilty even.

"That'll never happen, Jason!" Irene informs the boy even when a part of her doesn't believe it.

"What's he mouthing on about?" Crowley questions with a feared expression.

"You're the third trial, Crowley." after that silence takes over. Dean sits in the back with Crowley and Irene on his legs while Sam drives. He strokes her hair and making small talks with his little girl.

The drive to an abandoned church was long so after a while, She fell asleep in his arms. As Sam parked the car and got out Dean waited for his brother to take her from him.
Sam placed Irene in the back where she could easily sleep. Then went inside and helped his brother with the devil's trap.

"She still asleep?" the younger boy just nodded in response.

"Good."

˗ˏ 🍧 ΛŽΛ—β€β€β€β€

Irene woke up to the sound of Castiel's wings. The second Jason heard he knew Irene should be awake too.

"Irene! The angel's here." that was all she needed to know for opening her eyes and the car's door.

"That's our dad Jason." Irene made a point that He denied.

"No Irene, that's your dad. My dad is the one who you see almost every second of every day. The one that loves you with every little ounce of his existence."

This wasn't something they had discussed before. She never asked for it not wanted to know. Knowing the person she looks up to so much and loves like this isn't her real father shattered her heart in pieces. It wouldn't have been any better if Jason had said Castiel isn't her father as well. The way she didn't know anything was the best way possible for her. She pushed her thoughts aside after watching her fathers talking.

"Dad!" Castiel opened his arms almost instantly. Taking his daughter into a warm embrace.

"Hey, moonshine." He kissed her temple with all the love inside his heart.

"Did you sleep, good baby?" Dean asked, smiling at the sight of them in front of him. Even if the conversation before Irene came out was intense, his daughter managed to change it all in a matter of seconds.

"Aha." She held Cas's neck tighter, kissing his cheek. "I've missed you, dad."

"I missed you too." he kissed her head one more time before putting her down.

As much as he loved for that moment to stop, he knew it wasn't possible and that Castiel needed to finish his conversation with Dean.

"I can't fail, Dean. Not on this one. I need your help."

"Look Cas, that's all well and good okay? but you're asking me to leave Sam and when we've got Crowley tied and tressesed. Now if anybody needs a chaperone while doing the heavy lifting it's Sam."

Irene wanted that time with her fathers. She loved her uncle but that little girl also loved spending time with her parents. Of course, this wasn't a fun time or anything but it was also better than nothing.

For her great luck, Sam appeared behind his brother then gazed at Irene to see the begging stare in her eyes.

"You should go." Irene smiled thankfully at him. She hated the idea of leaving him as much as Dean but also loved the thought of spending time with Castiel and Dean.
"Seriously."

"What, and leave you here with the king of hell? Come on." Dean reasoned with his brother. He had a pretty good reason to stay and a half pretty good reason to leave.

"I got this and if you guys can lock the angels up too that's a good day." between his words he hesitated and pointed to Irene with his exhausted eyes.

"Look, I- I'm down with sending the angels back to heaven just because they're dicks but the demons? This is on us. Start the injections now. If I'm not back in eight hours, finish it. No question, no hesitation." Sam nodded.

"Yeah."

There was a gut feeling inside Irene that told her Sam was not gonna be fine after the injections.

In a way, it felt like this was gonna be goodbye for a while. She threw herself inside his arms as the older man pulled her up. Tears started to wet her eyes which she stopped by blinking constantly.

"I love you. Don't forget that. Ever!" Irene smiled sadly with her eyes covered with tears.

"I love you too Uncle Sammy. I'll see you soon." she knew that might not be the case yet she let go of him. Sam kissed her head about 5 times before letting go of her. That little girl was everything to him. She wasn't his daughter but he sure as hell loved her like one.

"See you soon Sweetheart." after Cas took Irene's hand in his and Dean's hand in his other, they were gone like a blink of an eye.

"You do know Sam's gonna die the moment he finishes the trials?" Jason's voice played on a loop inside her head the moment they were at the bunker. She shook her head which draw Dean's attention.

"What's wrong baby?"

"Nothing," she answered quickly. Then answered her brother.

"You don't know that. Nobody does."

"Sure I do. He smells like death and he looks like it. Dear Sammy is gonna die. it's a good thing you said your goodbye." She rubs her eyes in an attempt to make the tears go away.

Kevin appears just in time for Cas and Dean to fill him in on everything. Irene can't concentrate on what they are talking about until she sees her dad yanking Kevin's collar just because he didn't want to translate the angel tablet.

"Dad!"
"Cas." Dean walks towards the angel and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Get the hell off of me." Said Kevin.

"You are a prophet of the lord. Always and forever. until the day you cease to do exist and another prophet takes your place." the hunter rolls his eyes and walks backward.

"Now, are you clear as to the task before you?" Kevin is forced to nod. Which neither Dean nor Irene appreciate.

"Then do it. We must go." and once again the three of them were gone. They found themselves in front of a bar.

Dean walks inside holding Irene's hand knowing she's not allowed in there but before the bartender can say anything he places 50 bucks on the table. He takes the cash without any more questions. And takes Dean's order. Castiel leaves them there to find a cupid.

Irene gets water from her backpack with the little snacks Dean got from the vending machine. He loves spending time with Irene but neither one of them can think about anything but Sam.

Almost an hour of silence finally got them to talk. "Why don't you talk to me like before? When you used to tell me everything. I feel like I did something wrong. Did I sweetheart?" Dean questioned with a steady and calm voice looking directly into Irene's big ocean blue eyes.

"No of course not. You've been great. You're awesome daddy. I'm just worried about uncle Sammy and losing him frightens me. I hate talking about it and so do you that's why I guess." The father smiled proudly at the smart kindhearted girl that his daughter had become.

"God I'm so proud of you baby. You are an incredible person."

"Be proud of yourself. I'm the person I am because you taught me to be." Dean kissed her head before hearing the door opening. They looked behind their shoulder to find Castiel.

"Anything? You were gone long enough." Dean sipped his beer as the angel took a seat next to Dean.

"No. There was one female but-" he stopped making Dean wonder.

"What?"

"I don't think she was female." The hunter raised his eyebrows knowing he doesn't wanna continue.

"Anything here?"

"Free drinks. Your buddy over there thinks you saved his life." Cas waved at the bartender and got a nod in response.

"You really think it's wise to be drinking on the job?" Irene giggled, taking another bite from her chocolate.

"What show you've been watching?" Dean said sarcastically then ruffled Irene's hair. That's when Dean's phone rang. He was about to answer that a little someone next to him snatched it out of his hand and took the call.

"Uncle Sammy!" she exclaimed smiling brightly. Both Dean and Cas looked mesmerized by her. There was no one else, nothing else, they loved more than her.

"Talk to me. You sure about this?" Dean opened another bottle as he asked Cas.

"It's one thing, me and Sammy slamming the gates to the pit, but you- you're boarding up heaven, then you're locking the door behind you." he raised his hand and placed it on Castiel's neck.

"Yeah, I know." Cas didn't look back at Dean.

"You did a lot of damage up there, Cas. You think they're just gonna let that slide?" as much as he didn't wanna bring it up in front of Irene who knew how much time do any of them have any more.

"You mean, do I think they'll kill me? Yeah, they might." Dean closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and gaining the strength to continue.

"So this is it. E.T. Goes home."

Irene wasn't listening, she was too focused on her uncle however her brother listened very carefully to every single word they shared. He would never admit it but he loves how good they are with Irene. He never had that, he acts like he's a bad person, who's heartless but he's not and he can't let Castiel do that to Irene.

"Are you done?" Irene gave her father his phone back with a nod.

"Yup."

"Castiel is going to do a suicide mission, Irene."
She ignored the boy after a woman came inside.

"Hey, there. Where's Ed?" the bartender asked the worker lady as Irene had said.

"Flu. I'm Gail."
"Well, okay then."

Dean held both their hands in his own.
"Showtime." Said the hunter.

"Let me give you a hand." the bartender suggested with enthusiasm.

"Oh, thanks."

"Oh my God, this is like the first five minutes of every porno I've ever seen." Irene furrowed her eyebrows and wrinkled her nose. She genuinely didn't know what Dean was talking about.

"What's a porno?" Cas opened his mouth to explain but he was stopped.

"You'll know someday."

"Gail. Rod." The bartender introduced the worker and the customer.

"Rod rides a stool here most days." the woman then touched them on their shoulders and just like that she took off.

"Damn, that's sweet." Rod and the bartender said at the same time, reacting to what was shown on the television. They turned towards one another with flirty looks.

Dean was in shock, that was the last thing he expected. Cas however didn't pay much attention as he took Irene's hand and walked towards the back door.

"Daddy." He came back to reality, following them.

"Where the hell do you think you're taking her Cas?" Dean quickly called him out. The last thing he wanted was for any kind of angel to be near her.

"To confront the cupid." he answered dryly. He didn't know what was the big deal about it. Irene was strong enough to take care of herself and even if she wasn't they would never let anything bad happen to her.

"Are you kidding me? Irene get back to your seat and do not, I repeat myself; do not follow me or Cas. You understand?" his voice was so firm that left no room for argument. She gulped as she walked back to her chair.

˗ˏ 🍧 ΛŽΛ—β€β€β€β€

Eventually, they left that bar and called Kevin who was at the bunker. Lucky for them Kevin had found some important stuff. He started talking the second he picked up.

"I think I found the angel trials but I don't see anything about a Nephilim or cupid's bow or anything like that." it had been one eventful day and Irene was tired so there she was between Castiel's arms enjoying what he had said would be their last hours.

All of this, Sam's trials, Castiel's trials, they were all weighing on her. Her chest felt like it was being crushed.

"Oh come on Kev. We're on the 1-yard line here." Cas rubbed his daughter's back continuously.

"And I should've mentioned this six months ago, but the sports metaphors? You wanna motivate me? Magic cars, Skyrim, Aziz Ansari." Kevin demanded which Irene laughed quietly about. She hid her head inside Castiel's neck. The girl wasn't gonna stop him from redeeming himself. She loved him enough to want what's best for him even if that meant she would lose him.

"What? I don't know those words." Dean scoffed.

Cas stood behind for a moment as he heard Naomi. He turned around to face her. Dean did the same and got worried quite instantly.

"I'm not here to fight you, Castiel. not anymore." Said Naomi. Irene held on to Cas tighter than she had ever before. Cas tried to get her down but she was insisting on clinging to him.

"Where is Metatron?" Castiel asked walking a bit closer.

"He told you he was going to fix heaven, didn't he? Murdering a Nephilim, cutting off a cupid's bow. It's a lie. All of it. I've been in his head." Dean stood beside Cas trying to take his daughter out of Castiel's arms.

"No! Don't." She whispered. His heart tore into pieces.

"You've been in all our heads. That's the problem." Cas used his strength to put her down.

"No, Castiel. You're wrong."

"Irene!" Dean yelled her name. He was not gonna lose them both at the same time.

"This is what you do. You twist things. I'm trying to fix heaven. Metatron is trying to fix heaven." Irene wanted to disagree with him but Naomi didn't give her the chance.

"Metatron isn't trying to fix anything, he's trying to break it. An act of revenge for driving him away." the girl lowered her guard and her grip around Castiel's neck.

"Break how?" she asked.

"Irene!" Castiel warned, putting her down.

"Expel all angels from heaven. Just as god cast out Lucifer." she explained. A big part of Irene believed her but Jason was not making it easier for the right part.

"Cast you out? To where? Hell?" Dean took Irene behind himself, trying to keep her safe. Naomi was now crying and she sounded so truthful.

"Here. Thousands of us, walking the earth." Cas took out his angel blade and was about to attack her but the other man stopped him.
"Wait."

"Our mission was to protect what God created. I don't know when we forgot that. I want nothing more than to see you shut the gates of hell but I told you that you could trust me. If Sam completes those trials, he is going to die."

Irene felt as if the world had stopped. And out of nowhere she just threw up gastric acid amongst blood right in front of Dean. He was so scared for his little brother that barely gave Irene his attention, not that she would notice.

"What the hell are you talking about?" after he realized his child was in pain he came back to the world and tired up her hair as he spoke. Tears welling up inside his eyes. Castiel tried to heal her but failed. She wasn't sick to be healed.

"I saw it in Metatron's head. It was always god's intention. The ultimate sacrifice. As for you Castiel, I beg of you, stop this path. Metatron has been neutralized. If you want back in, truly; I will listen." Naomi was gone the moment she finished. Dean quickly pulled Irene up, wrapping his jacket around her shaking body, then took his phone, Hoping Kevin would deny everything she said.

"Hey, right now, talk to me. Is she lying?" he was distressed, terrified, and angry.

"I don't know." Answered Kevin who had listened to everything Naomi said.

"Well, find out."

"She's lying." Cas said. Believing she was lying.

"Daddy." her voice seemed helpless and completely unwell.

"I got you baby. Take me to him." Dean first was calm towards Irene and then pissed at Castiel.

"Dean." Irene held on to her father as he held on to her.

"Take me to him now." he yelled which caused Irene to flinch. And so he did. They were in that church in no time. Dean didn't let go of Irene for a brief moment. The sound of her sobbing echoed in his ear but she was weaker than to even raise her head.

"I told you if you keep giving Sam your powers this would happen. You drained yourself." Jason told her concerned.

"I'm gonna fix you but it'll take a while. I should've taken better care of you. I'm sorry."

she wanted to deny it. To say he has nothing to be sorry about and that she loves him yet she couldn't not because she didn't want to just because like he had said she felt drained and empty.

"Dean, I'm not wrong. I'm going to fix my home." Cas kissed Irene's hair as he spoke.

"NO. Dad, plea-" she used her very last shred of energy to stop him but he had flown away. Dean wanted to stop him too but didn't get the chance.

"Cas!" after that he just went inside the church to try and stop Sam. His hands were glowing and he was about to cure Crowley when they arrived.

"Sammy, Stop!" Dean shouted, taking closer steps towards him. "Irene could see everything, feel everything but still unable to talk.

"Easy there, okay? Just take it easy. We got a slight change of plan." the older brother changed Irene's place between his hands. He didn't know why she seemed so lifeless. As if her soul was sucked out of her body.

"What?" Sam doubted. "What's going on? Where's Cas?"

"Metatron Lied. You finish this trial, you're dead, Sam."

Jason knew if Irene doesn't be able to save her uncle would hate herself forever that's why he used his existence on the line only for her to get back on her feet faster. Sam eyed around looking for why that mattered.
"So?"

Dean furrowed his eyebrows in disbelief.

"Look at him. Look at him. Look how close we are. Other people will die if I don't finish this." Irene gasped for air. She just wanted to stop him. She couldn't lose Sam. Not when she was about to lose Castiel as well.

"Think about it. Think about what we know. Huh? Pulling souls from hell, curing demons, hell, ganking a hell hound. We have enough knowledge on our side to turn the tide here but I can't do it without you."

"You can barely do it with me. I mean, you think I screw up everything I try. You think I need a chaperone, remember?"

"Come on man, that's not what I meant."
Sam shook his head he looked paler than a dead body. And smelled like one.

"It's exactly what you meant. You wanna know what I confessed In there? What my greatest sin was? It was how many times I'd let you down. How many times have I let her down? I can't do that again." Tears formed in both their eyes.

"Sam."
"Uncle Sammy." Irene's voice wasn't even heard.

"What happens when you've decided I can't be trusted again? Who are you gonna turn to next time instead of me? Another angel? Another? Another vampire? You have any idea what it feels like to watch your brother-" Irene didn't hold her tears back anymore. She knew exactly how Sam must've felt.

"Hold on. Hold on. You seriously think that? Because none of it, none of it, it's true. You think I don't trust you? Sammy If I didn't trust you, Irene wouldn't be spending every second of her life with you. You've been there when I wasn't when Cas wasn't! I don't trust her with anyone other than you. Listen, man, I know we've had our disagreements, okay? Hell I know I've said some junk that set you back on your heels, but Sammy come on. I killed Benny to save you. I'm willing to let this bastard and all the sons of bitches that killed mom walk because of you. Don't you dare think that there is anything, past or present that I would put in front of the two of you. It has never been like that. Ever. I need you to see that. Do it for us, Sammy. for me and her because we can't move forward without you. I'm begging you." Sam opened his wrist and allowed his blood to pour on the ground.

"How do I stop?"

Dean stepped closer while Irene was regaining her power.

"Just let it go."

"I can't. It's in me, Dean. You don't know what this feels like." as soon as she felt her energy was back she quickly got out of Dean's arm and took Sam's hand in hers. Sucking the power inside him onto herself. Dean was too late to stop her. Her eyes turned red as she felt the power rushing through her.

"Don't you guys ever try something like this again. You are the most selfish people I know." Irene cried out, sobbing and sniffing.

Sam allowed his tears to fall as well after seeing that angry little girl like that. And at that moment Irene realized something isn't right. Her brother couldn't be felt. She wanted to yell, cry and beg for him to come back but she knew now wasn't the time.

Dean held Sam tightly and his free arm found its way around Irene. Suddenly Sam cried out of pain and fell to the ground.

Dean was quick to pick him up and get him outside, Calling for Castiel to show up. "Cas! Castiel! Where the hell are you."

Irene tried to find him, but he was nowhere to be found. "Sammy!"

"Daddy." Irene looked at the sky incredulously as she witnessed multiple angels falling.

"No Cas."

"What's happening?" With the little amount of power left in him Sam asked.

"Angels. They're falling."

Irene did her best to fill the void inside her uncle but failed.

"Jason I need you." This was the first time she had ever spoken of her brother in front of Dean or Sam.

"Please Jason!" her father stared at her confused but she couldn't even think about how to explain this to him. Not when she was focused on Sam.

"You need to find an angel. A good angel who you can trust. You're not strong enough for that but find Castiel he might be able to help if he still has his grace. He needs to emerge with him, use him as vessel honey until he regains his energy" Stella's voice came from deep inside her mind.

"Thank you, mom." she whispered under her breath hoping Dean won't notice but he did.

"Get up." Dean ordered, standing up. He took his brother and placed him on the back seats where Irene sat next too.

"Where are we going?" Stella had told her she wasn't strong enough to help Sam, didn't mean she wasn't gonna anyways. So while Dean drove; the girl tried to keep him conscious.

"Hospital." that was all he said along the way there.

"Are you mad at me for something?" Irene gazed at Dean with sympathy. She was sitting next to Sam's hospital bed, holding his hand while Dean angrily paced the room.

"No."

"Well I don't believe you." he paused only to turn around and face her for a moment before going back to what he was doing.

The last thing he needed was to upset her or yell at her. It was gonna be difficult to not do that with her pushing the subject.

"Daddy." She lowered her voice trying to understand what she did wrong.

"Not now Irene." his voice came out harsher than he expected. her mouth snapped shut, biting her lip, nodding quickly.

The hunter closed his eyes and blamed himself before approaching her. He knelt to cover her cheeks.

"I'm sorry beautiful. It's just that I'm worried about Sammy. I didn't mean to sound like that I'm angry or anything." Dean kissed her forehead twice before embracing her.

"But we do need to talk." Irene gulped after hearing what he said. She knew exactly what they needed to talk about.

"Da-" her father was quick to interrupt her.

"No lies sweetheart."Β  she sighed knowing he can read through every single word that comes out of her mouth.

"Who's Jason?" Irene's heart fell in her stomach. She didn't even know where to start. Dean kissed her cold hands. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath.

"My brother AKA your son." he was shocked, he didn't believe her.

"What do you mean my son? What the hell has that demon told you?" clearly he was in denial about the existence of Jason.

"He's not a demon. He helped me find mom. I talked to her daddy And- and now he's gone and I need him. I need my brother back."
