"MOM SAID IF A BOY CAN'T SEE THE BEAUTY then he's not worth it, can you believe it? What world does she live in?" Jane complains about her mother as she walks back and forth.

Amor was sitting beside Evie as she continue to sew, Mal sketching in her notebook. "Auradon," Mal and Amor say simultaneously.

Both teens were taken back.

"Amor, do you like it?" Evie asks, holding up a leather blue dress, the ends flares and trailing with darker blue marks across it.

"It's beautiful. Evie." Amor compliments as she tilts her head at the gorgeous dress. That makes Evie giggle and continue to sew.

"I'll never get a boyfriend," Jane whimpers, plopping down on the bed.

"Boyfriends are overrated," Mal comments.

"Mal's right, get you a girlfriend instead." Amor smirks.

Evie and Amor's eyes immediately meet. Amor snaps her eyes away.

"How would you know, Mal? You've never had one." Evie lays her head on her hand.

"That's because I don't need one, E. They're a waste of time." Mal rolls her eyes.

"Maybe you're right," Evie mumbles, more to herself than to Mal.

Mal looks up at Evie, then to Amor, who seemed restless.

Unexpectedly, someone waltzes in.

"Hey, guys! I'm Lonnie, my mom's Mulan." Lonnie introduces herself. "Anyways, I love Jane's hair and I know you hate us, and, well, you're evil. But do you think you could do mine?" Lonnie questions Mal as she stands in the middle of the room.

"Why would I do that for you?" Mal looks up from her notebook.

"I'll pay you fifty dollars." Lonnie holds out a bag of money.

"Good answer." Evie jumps in, snatching the money out of Lonnie's hand, "I need to buy more material... Let's see, I'm thinking we lose the bangs, maybe some highlights and some layers," Evie comments while running her hands through Lonnie's hair.

Amor watches as the scene plays out in front of her eyes.

"I want it cool like Mal's." Lonnie puts her hands together. glimpsing at them.

Evie laughs at her comment, "Really? You want Mal's split ends too?" Evie says.

Mal groans and grabs her spellbook.

"Okay, beware forswear, replace the old with cool hair." Mal moves her finger and Lonnie's head follows. Lonnie then comes back up with long curly waves of brown hair.

"Nice." Amor comments, impressed.

Lonnie walks over to the mirror and Evie follows her "I know, I know it looks like a mop on your head you know what let's cut it off layer-" Evie says softly, trying to comfort Lonnie.

"Noβ€” I love it." Lonnie smiles in awe, touching her new curls.

"You do?" Evie grimace.

Lonnie then takes her hands and rips the side of her dress "now I'm cool."

"Like ice." Mal chuckles

Jane follows Lonnie's actions, "what did I just do? mom's gonna kill me," Jane gasps in shock, slapping her hands over her mouth as she stares in the mirror at the rip in her dress.

Amor snorts, getting up and touching Jane's shoulder, "you'll be fine, Jane," she tries to calm her worries.

"You ready to go?" Evie comes up behind Amor, whispering in her ear which sent chills up her spine.

Amor turned around quickly, not expecting Evie to still be so close considering their lips were inches apart, "yeah."

..

"OH MY GOSH, THIS IS SO EXCITING! WHAT are we making first?" Evie squeals as they enter the school's bakery.

Amor smirks at her excitement, "okay, let's start with something delicious, crepe cake,"

Evie gives her baffled stare, "What's that?"

"It's a cake made from layers of cream and thin crepes to form a tall cake, but you have to make sure you cook it correctly because you want it to be easy to cut through and flavorful." Amor tries to explain in the best way she could.

Evie nods her head in understanding as she walks over to the cabinet, "what do we need?".

"1/2 cup of warm water, 1 cup of milk, 4 large eggs, 4 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and salt." as Amor is listing the ingredients, Evie wanders around the bakery, finding them.

Evie grabs the blender, "So how did you learn to bake?" Evie investigated, pouring the milk into the blender.

"My mother, she was always baking in the kitchen and I took interest, unlike my sister, who hates baking." Amor chuckles at the memory.

"Sounds nice," Evie hums, "my mother was always focused on beauty and me finding a prince." Evie's voice drops quietly almost to a whisper.

"I'm guessing you weren't a huge fan of that," Amor takes notice, leaning her hands on the counter.

She shakes her head, "She never worries about what I wantβ€”ya know? Growing up on the isle we never got to bake cookies or have our mothers and fathers tuck us into bed." Evie let her eyes find Amor's, they were glistening.

Evie seemed hurt and numb to the situation, every time she spoke of her mother, she would bite her lip, or constantly play with her hair, which seemed to become a habit.

Out of sympathy, Amor reaches over about to grab her hand.

The sudden moment was suddenly gone as a thick liquid splashed over her face and they gasp in shock. Evie quickly turns off the blender and stares at Amor with the same amount of shock,Β  both covered in the crepe cake mixture.

Their silence is broking when they both bust out into a fit of laughter, "I think you forgot the lid," Amor points at the blender, trying to catch my breath.

"Really what made you notice?" Evie questions her sarcastically.

That only made them laugh more and harder.

"Well, since we're already a mess, we might as well." Amor grins, shrugging her shoulders.

"Might as well wha-" Evie's words were cut off by Amor throwing the rest of the crepe cake mix on her shirt, causing her to gasp in shock.

"Oh, so that's how we're doing this, yeah?" Evie smirks, tilting her head as she grabs the flour and throws it on Amor's crepe cake-covered clothes.

They both start laughing until Amor sees the eggs a few feet away.

Amor snaps her eyes back to Evie who was already looking at her, knowing what Amor was about to do.
They both sprint for the eggs, grabbing some and throwing them at each other.

Evie ducks, trying to avoid the eggs.

Amor squeals as an egg hit the back of her shirt.

Amor pouts, throwing one at Evie, and the egg cracks right on her head, slowly sliding down her face.

Amor was happy with her final work until her hysterical laughter was soon cut off by an egg landing right in the middle of her forehead.

Amor freezes, the egg slowly declines and hits the ground.

She was in such a state of shock, she didn't even notice Evie come up from behind her, beginning to tickle her stomach.

Amor doubled over, attempting to curl up in a ball.

If there's one thing Amor hatesβ€”it's being tickled. It didn't hurtβ€”it was just a very uncomfortable feeling.

Amor moves her hands to her waist, starting to tickle Evie as well, which makes her panic, and quickly takes her hands off Amor.

Amor laughs as Evie fails to stop her.

Unexpectedly, she grabs both of Amor's wrists, pushing her body against Amor's and forcing her to walk backwards, bumping the counter.

Their faces were now inches apart.

Evie's light breath was tickling Amor's lips, that's how close they were.

Amor trialed her eyes across Evie's face before they stopped at her lips.

"Oh dear, what happened in here?" a concerned Fairy godmother spoke.

Amor quickly steps away from Evie.

Amor coughs, "I'm sorryβ€” things got a little out of control." she frowns at fairy godmother and she gives me a stern look.

Fair Godmother was putting, seeming mildly frustrated with the mess. "I'm going to have to put you both in detention after class tomorrow,Β  you both got straight to the office. Do you understand?" She points her finger at them.

"Yes, Fairy Godmother," the girls say simultaneously.

"Now get this cleaned up and get back to your dorms," She finishes her statement while walking away.

Amor began thinking about the event that almost took place. What would've happened if Fairy Godmother didn't come into the kitchen?
