to the unassuming, Shin was a reticent man, easy-to-read, yet complex at the same time. it was hard to determine what was a front and what wasn't. that's why, when he breathes soliloquies and promises into your ear, you didn't think anything of it. not if he meant it, not his intentions of saying this to you, not even the thought that he was manipulating you.

ultimately Shin was somebody you could trust, right?

in such a cut-throat situation, who else could you turn to? Who else could you trust? his oaths and pledges seducing your mind, plaguing your thoughts.
