Junior's Bar, Downtown Vale

"I don't know," said Junior as he slammed down his glass. "What do you mean you don't know?" Yang shot back. Just a few seconds ago, the latter had asked the former where Roman Torchwick was.

"I mean, I don't know. I haven't talked to him. I haven't even seen him since the night he hired my men. He paid upfront, I lent him my men, and none of them ever came back."

Neptune then jumped in with one of the most idiotic questions one could ask. "So where did they go?" It was so dumb that not even Yang could believe what he just said. "W-What do you me-- I don't know where they went! Who is this guy?!"

"Doesn't matter. What matters is me, right now. Give me anything, ANYTHING at all. I swear to Oum I will wreck your club and wrack up so much property damage that you will not be able to recover," Yang threatened, her eyes turning flame-red.

"That's all I know, I swear. Maybe he wasn't happy with them, which is SOMETHING I CAN RELATE TO!" Yang shook her head at this response. She knew that Junior really did not know anything, and got up, leaving her unfinished Sunrise on the counter. Neptune went to follow. She then suddenly slammed her fist into a nearby glass table, shattering into millions of pieces.

Junior just groaned. That table cost a lot.

Then suddenly, she reappeared. "Gahah, Oum damn it! You scared the shit outta me!" The white-cloaked woman ignored him, and instead looked down at the unfinished drink on the counter. She started to mumble something about talking with someone named Yang about responsible drinking, and property damage.

"Do you know that Blondie?" Junior asked, and the cold silver eyes that stared back at him from under the hood shut him up. "Fill this up with some absinthe, or whatever strongest drink you've got. Don't do it all the way through, maybe up to half," she said as she put a metal flask.

Junior looked at her for a second, and suddenly a bag of lien landed on the counter. "Make haste," and Junior cooperated, taking the flask and grabbing a Leviathan Vodka (90%) bottle off the shelf behind him.

He put down the half-filled flask in front of the woman, who took it, pulled out a medium-sized see-through bottle wrapped in some cloth seemingly out of nowhere, and poured out some of the red liquid into the flask.

Junior smelled blood, but before he could confirm it, the woman sealed the bottle and hid it. Wherefrom, he still did not know. "Thanks. I will take my leave now." One question went through his mind as he eyed the back of the cloaked figure as she left the bar.

Who in Oum was that?

Meanwhile outside, Yang and Neptune were ready to leave for the rendevous point that she and the rest of the team, plus Dante and Alfred, agreed on, when her scroll began to ring.

"Everyone, if you can hear me, we need--" "Help!!!" Sun shouted over Blake's voice on the scroll.

"We're being chased by a bunch of psychos! And that Torchwick guy somehow got his hands on a robot! It didn't eat him, he's like controlling it or something!!" Came Sun's panic-stricken voice through Yang's Scroll.

"Where are you guys?!" Yang asked, but she got her answer when she heard Sun's scream from down the street.ย

"Hurry!!!!" Came his voice.

He and Blake were being chased by two cloaked figures and a giant robot. "Uh, I think that was them--" Neptune started but Yang butted in, "Yeah I know. Hold on," she said, and barely gave Neptune a chance to put on his helmet when she maxed out the throttle and drove down the street and made a hard right to chase the two.

The two did not notice the white-cloaked figure watch them leave.

"Oh Yang... you've grown up so fast," she whispered to no one as she vanished into the shadows, with no evidence of her ever being there. As it should be.

Cross Continental Transmit System, Vale

"We're being chased by a bunch of psychos! And that Torchwick guy somehow got his hands on a robot! It didn't eat him, he's like controlling it or something!!" Sun shouted into the Scroll. Weiss widened her eyes, and spoke, "I'm on my way! Hold on!" And she put down the Scroll.

Maria, the Huntress who accompanied her, noticed this. "Looks like your friends are in trouble. Mind if you let me help out?" Weiss looked at her. "Nothing's going to stop you from helping, even if I say no, will there?"

Maria shook her head. "What type of Hunter would I be if I did not help innocents?" Maria realized, suddenly, how hypocritical her words were, and she frowned.

"Maria?" Weiss spoke, knocking Maria back into the real world. "Let's go." The Hunter... Huntress nodded and followed Weiss out of the CCT. "Will Ludwig be coming with us?"

"No. He's busy," Maria said. A short and firm answer and the conversation ended. All the while, Weiss had some thoughts, as they ran.

Weird.

Why did she call herself a Hunter and not a Huntress?

Somewhere in the alleys, Uptown Vale

"We're being chased by a bunch of psychos! And that Torchwick guy somehow got his hands on a robot! It didn't eat him, he's like controlling it or something!!" Ruby listened to the call on her Scroll. "Robot!? Ooh, we're not missing this! Alfred!"

The Vileblood Hunter, who had fallen asleep against the pile of boxes, was roused from his slumber by Ruby's shout. "What what? What is it, what is i-- AGH!" He tried to stand up, keyword: tried, but fell forward. "Alfred! What's wrong!?"

"Damn! My leg fell asleep! Give me a few seconds to recover, I'll follow you!" Alfred said as he waved off the Huntress-in-training's concerns.

"Be quick, Alfred!" Ruby said as she ran down the alley and out onto the street, and she barely managed to catch Blake and Sun running from a giant robot and... two robed individuals wielding strange weapons.

She couldn't get left behind in the action and ran down another street to try and get ahead of the chase.

Meanwhile, Alfred was trying to rub some feeling back into his damned leg, and he realized he was slowly being left behind. "Of all the times for my limbs to fall asleep, it had to be now..." He grumbled, and as he stood up and broke into a run. "Just my luck..."

He followed the trail of rose petals Ruby left behind. Good thing that was a thing, otherwise he most likely would not have been able to join the ensuing battle.

--

Soon Blake and Sun were jumping onto car roofs on a freeway, still being chased by the two strange individuals and the giant robot.ย

The two robed individuals, despite not having any obvious Faunus traits, somehow were able to keep up with the two Faunus as they jumped from car to car.

The robed individuals kept up, occasionally firing Dust rounds and silver-colored projectiles at them. Blake and Sun fired back, being careful not to kill any of the drivers. Not that that mattered, since the robot behind the two individuals kept smashing aside the cars and sending them off the road.

Off to the left of the rampaging robot, Yang rode in on her motorcycle, Bumblebee, with Neptune on her back. "We've got to find a way to slow it down!" Neptune responded, "On it!"

Meanwhile, on a road above the freeway where the combat was occurring, Alfred just sighed. "This is stupid, completely utterly foolish of me to even attempt, but what else is an Executioner to do?!" Alfred roared and steeled himself.ย

He had to time it right, otherwise, he would end up a splat on the freeway below. Three... The robot charged, still chasing Blake and Sun, two colored spots far below. Two... It was almost here, around 500 meters and closing. One... it was here. 100 meters, 75...

He jumped.

"Justice rains from above!!!" Alfred shouted as he jumped off, his transformed Kirkhammer increasing his downward momentum and force. The weapon impacted the top of the robot's head dead-on, and the force of impact rattled and stunned the occupant inside it.

The robot was still running in the middle of the freeway, but now it had one Alfred on its' head.

Neptune was so dumbfounded by the guy who suddenly fell out of the sky that he ended up stopping whatever it was he was doing just to process what had just happened. It was only when Yang shouted, "Neptune! Do your thing!"

"R-Right!!" Neptune said as he pulled out Tri-Hard, transforming it into its guandao form. The robot was throwing aside cars and was sending them flying back towards the motorcycle and its occupants. "Yang!" Neptune shouted in panic since he could no longer move with all those cars in the way.

"Hold on," said Yang, and hold on, Neptune did. Yang twisted and moved, dodging the oncoming cars with little effort, and when the car storm was over, Neptune then jumped off the motorcycle, boosting himself onto the moving robot. He landed next to Alfred, who was busy trying to slash his way into the cockpit with the sword, with very little success. "Oh hey, Alfred!"

"Hello... gr, Neptune! Come on what in the Gods are you made of!?" He grits his teeth in frustration as he continued to swing, his sword barely cutting into the metal.ย

Blake and Sun kept running, as the two robed individuals kept chasing them, and by then it seemed the pilot had recovered and was already trying to shake off the two. "Damn it! Get off, Neptune! Now!" Alfred shouted as he stopped swinging and was already attempting to find a good place to jump off. Neptune had no problem and jumped right back onto Yang's motorcycle and had moved away.

"Alfred, hold on!" Sun said as he and Blake found a place to temporarily rest, meaning cars that were further along the road and, for now, a little hard to reach even for those agile creeps. The robot was doing 360 degree turns and shakes in an attempt to remove the Hunter from it, but it appears it would take more than that to rid it of him. "Don't worry about me! Get rid of those two! Damned Ya'Har'Gulians!"

Sun nodded as he activated his Semblance. Golden transparent copies of him seemed to come out of him, as the two Ya'Har'... whatever Alfred had called them jumped onto his and Blake's respective vehicle platforms.

The two robed figures said nothing, instead wielding their weapons. One of them who wielded that strange spikeless mace flicked it to one side, and it coursed with electricity. The other pulled back the hammer on his blunderbuss.

One second later, Sun attacked his enemy, two clones descending on the figure. Unfortunately, said enemy blew away the clones with one buckshot round, and they closed the gap, slamming their weapon into Sun's gut.

Blake attacked first, swinging Gambol Shroud and aiming for vulnerable areas, but her enemy was surprisingly quick on their feet, and parried each of Blake's attacks with their weapon.

As the 2 on 2 raged on...

"I'm in position!" Weiss shouted into her Scroll. Maria stayed in position, Timed Molotovs already in place. "Let's do this. Quite a miracle really, that we managed to get here before they did."

Weiss and Maria then dropped down onto the freeway below. Weiss then slammed Myrtenaster into the ground, ice erupting from the tip and sending the cars where Blake and Sun were fighting on, and the robot skidding off the road and onto the ground below. The robot was dealt with by the Timed Molotovs, the force of their explosions blasting the robot off the road, through the hard light barriers, and down to the ground.

Ruby Rose waited down there, staring down the robot, and its pilot. Blake and Sun ran to her side, as the two robed figures stared them down. Alfred had already gotten off when the robot had stopped moving and had moved towards Ruby.

Weiss and Maria had jumped down and joined the fray, much to the visible discomfort of the two robed figures. "Bloody Ya'Har'Gulians... One thing I hate just a little more than beasts is you freaks," Maria spat, and she split her Rakuyo into two.

Alfred had no smile on his face as he regarded the two Ya'Har'Gulians with contempt, though no one could tell from the Golden Ardeo covering his face. "Et tu, Lady Maria?" He traded his Kirkhammer for his Logarius Wheel, and he twisted it, the spirits of the damned screaming in rage as he did so.

"Who are these people, Alfred?" Ruby asked as she readied Crescent Rose.

"They... are Ya'Har'Gulians. Hunters only in name, these disgusting bastards kidnap and steal people from their homes for the selfish experiments of the School of Mensis. At least, that's what I was told." Alfred said, and Team RWBY + SN looked over at the hooded figures with looks of disgust and hate.

"Ohoho, that's RICH coming from you!" One of them finally spoke, seemingly having had enough. "Like your hands are clean of sin, you overzealous monster! Children, do you know what he is? He's an Executioner! Sent by the Healing Church to purge Castle Cainhurst! But he killed more than just infected beasts! He slaughtered men, women, and children, and has no regrets or qualms about it!"

Alfred stopped in his tracks.

Maria ignored the words of the madmen in front of her, and tensed, ready to spring forward and slice their heads off.

"...Alfred?" Ruby asked, concerned for their friend. Alfred was about to respond when the robot suddenly stood up. "Later. I'll... explain later... I'll just--" Alfred was cut off when a cannonball impacted the robot, causing to fracture and explode, sending the pilot sprawling to the ground.

Roman Torchwick stood up, groaning in frustration. "...JUST got this thing cleaned."

From behind, "No one would mind if I just explode onto the scene here, do they? No? Okay," said Dante. In his one hand, he held a literal cannon about the size of his body, and in the other a greatsword painted red and silver.ย

"Bloody hell, you're late!" Alfred said. "So I am. Maria."

The Hunter only nodded. "Now then, since that stupid robot has been destroyed... let's hunt." Dante said as he replaced the cannon, instead opting for his Hunter's Pistol.

The enemy were outnumbered, and even those two Ya'Har'Gulians knew that they could not win against three Hunters and a team of Huntsmen and Huntresses. "Mister Torchwick, we retreat. Now."

"What? It's 3 on 3."

"3 on 3 plus those 5 Huntsmen and Huntresses."

"So what? They're teenagers, and not even licensed."

"I know better than to underestimate the young. And did I fail to mention that we are outnumbered numerically?"

Roman sighed. "Fine. Let's see... as much as I'd like to fight, we best get going. We have more important things to do. Ladies," he gestured to Maria and Team RBY, "Gentlemen," he said, gesturing to Sun and Neptune, who still had their weapons ready. "Cleric," he said to Alfred, who took offense to being called as such, "Edgelord. Ice Queen."

"Hey!" Dante and Weiss said at the same time, insulted as well. "Always a pleasure. Neo, if you would." Someone stepped out from behind Roman. It was a, for the lack of a better way to describe it, a two-toned woman. She looked like she fell into a vat of ice cream.ย

She pulled out a parasol and bowed. "You're not getting away!" Yang shouted, discharging her used shells and ejecting new ones into Ember Celica as she prepared to charge. "Wait! That's an illusion."ย  As he said it, the illusory four shattered into glass pieces, and a Bullhead had already flown away from the scene.

The group of eight just stood there in silence. The Hunters there grit their teeth in anger and frustration, having let their prey get away from them, though the Huntsmen and Huntresses who wanted to get even were just as angry that they had gotten away too. "So I guess he got a new henchman," said Yang, her hair still on fire and her eyes still a burning red.

"Yeah," Weiss responded, "I guess she really made our plans... fall apart?" Sun, Ruby and Neptune snickered, but the rest of the group were very unimpressed. "No," said Yang, much to Weiss' confusion and dismay, "Just... no." Blake was equally unimpressed, and was the first to walk away.

"But, but you do it..." Responded Weiss. "There's a time and a place for jokes," said Yang. "Wise words if you weren't a pun master yourself," said Dante and he began to walk away with Blake. Alfred soon followed. Maria had just disappeared somewhere, while Neptune and Sun were still chuckling to themselves since they have a very shallow sense of humor.

"Was this not it?"

"No, it just wasn't very good," Yang said bluntly.

"Well at least I'm trying," Weiss responded, and she began to follow. Ruby smiled, "Come on, Sun. Neptune. Let's all get something to eat."

Meanwhile, in the far north, north of Atlas, undisclosed location

"It's strange... There are corpses here," said an Atlesian scientist. She looked at these rotted bodies. Each of them wielded old weapons and wore metal armor, suggesting that this was the site of an old battle, one that was not recorded, since their archives told of no battle here in the middle of nowhere.

They walked up a large set of stone stairs, the party of at least 40 Atlesian personnel tensing up, as if expecting a fight. Then suddenly, it came to them. A piercing scream and these humans... no, they weren't humans... their jaws were much too low, their eyes too sunken in, and they wielded these rusted sickles... they ran right down the stairs towards the Atlesian group.

The soldiers drew their weapons and fired, easily tearing through their flesh and killing them. There were at least ten of them.ย

"Fucking madmen..." One soldier commented as he reloaded his weapon.

The group continued on. "Those guys must have been the cause of this Site's inactivity," said one soldier. "Maybe they're all dead. Could explain why they sent some scientists with us." They walked through a few tunnels, noticing the working Atlas equipment.

Then suddenly they saw it. There were scientists and soldiers, all kneeling and praying to a... chalice? "Oi, what the hell are you all doing?" The captain shouted, and the Atlesians present stood up. One of them, the head scientist, turned towards the arriving group of 40 personnel.

"Ah, welcome welcome. We've been expecting you."

"What in Oum do you mean? Don't tell me you all have gone crazy down here..." Asked the captain. Then the head scientist pointed his finger, to an empty area just above the chalice. "...do you see it?"

There was nothing there. Just air. Then suddenly, it showed itself.

One of the scientists simply responded, "Too many eyes."

And there were screams, but not of fear, but of madness and sick joy, for it had more followers now. "Soon... very soon... A bottomless curse, a bottomless sea," mumbled a soldier, having witnessed it with his own eyes.

And it was there that everyone present had eyes now.

A/N: Hello, everyone. Here's a new chapter for all of you. Oh, remember that chapter where good old Jimmy boy mentioned one of the chalices? Yeah, here's some development on that front. Erm, yeah I think that's about it. Remember, please like, follow and comment if you enjoyed this chapter. See you all in the next one. Nito out!
