C H A P T E R - 44

Ellie Rose-

I sighed and got up from the bed as my mother sarted to leave my side, starting to get ready for the engagement ball. Today Amara was going to start her life with the love of her life. I was so happy for her. She was finally going to be happy marrying the love of her life.

"You can't be serious El. Amara is your best friend and she'll be so upset if you're not going to her engagement" Mom said while putting on her heels.

"I know Mom but I just don't want-"

"You don't have to worry about kids. Diana and Ryan will look after them in the party" Mom cut me off causing me to let out another sigh.

"I just want to stay at home with the kids" I answered quietly walking towards the door.

"Ellie.. for god sake! enough please. It's been damn 7 years! How long are you going be like this?!" Mom said. Her eyebrows coming together. I stopped.

"He's no more.. He left us and this world 7 years ago. Please forget him baby. Please.. " Mom whispered.

I felt as my heart just broke into million pieces hearing her and before I knew tears filled my eyes.

"Please I can't see you like this. I want my Ellie back. Please.. move on. Mason also wanted to see you and be happy always remember?" Mom said. "He never wanted to see you like this. Sad, quiet, broken"

I know he never wanted to see me like this but I can't help it. I was grateful that I was still alive after losing him 7 years ago. I wanted to die. I don't know how I was still living without him. Those 5 years I spent with his memories only. Only I and the God knows how damn broken I was inside. It was so hard. I couldn't take it anymore but I'd to live. I'd to live for my kids. For him.

"He will never co-"

"He'll come back Mom. I know. He's safe and he's with me always no matter wherever he's"

That's all I said and walked out from the room as tears rolled down my cheeks.

Deep down inside I knew he was okay. He can't leave me. To this world and to everyone Mason Williams was death but to me he was still alive. Safe and okay.

"Mommy Are we going to Amara's Engagement?" My little angel Bella asked running towards me with her cute smile. I couldn't helped but smile kneeling down in front of her meeting her size.

"No baby" I whispered brushing her beautiful chocolate hair behind her ear. She got just like her father hair colour. Even her attitude everything remind me of my Mason everytime I see her.

"Why Mommy. Amara-"

" Mommy! Are we going to Amara's engagement??" Marcullo, my son asked running towards me. His shirt, hands and cheeks were covered with chocolate. A cute grin was playing in his face showing his cute little teeth covered with chocolate too.

"What is this Marcullo? Have you seen yourself?" I asked narrowing my eyes checking him from up to down.

"I was eating chocolate" he sheepishly answered causing me to smile. "Bella stole my chips too mommy"

"No that was mine Marcullo" Bella replies back.

"No that was mine. You stole that. I've Diana as my proof" Marcullo said sliding his hands inside his pocket giving cold look to Bella and I couldn't helped but laugh.

Just like Mason.

"Okay okay no fighting" I said before kissing each of their cheek. "I'll ask Ryan to bought you two more chocolates, okay?"

They grinned.

"You're the best mommy" They said hugging me. I smiled hugging them back.

"I shouldn't have let you even touch me Marcullo. You just spoiled my top" I playfully glared at him after pulling away from the hug. He grinned.

"Sorry"

I smiled.

"It's okay baby"

That's when Ryan and Diana ran to me.

"Oh my god- Bella, Marcullo. We're just so tired running after you all the time" Diana said. Her chest rising and falling from how much she ran after them even Ryan too.

"God Ellie. I swear I think I've lost 5 kg running after these two kiddos" Ryan said breathlessly leaning against the near wall. "They just can't even sit in one place more then 5 seconds"

I was feeling bad for them to be honest. They always look after them and take care of them in absence of me. Diana and Ryan was always there for me since we lost Mason. They were always there for me whenever I needed any support and I was so grateful for that to them. They spend most of their time after them.

"I'm sorry Diana. I was coming to Mommy" Bella answered innocently causing Diana to pressed her lips together with her hands on her hips.

"Me and Ryan were dying searching you two in the whole mansion" Diana said as Ryan sat down on the floor closing his eyes, trying to catch breathe.

"Bella, Marcullo this is really bad. Why you two doesn't listen to them?" I asked looking down at the two cute little kids as they looked down.

"It's okay Ellie.. they're little. We'll manage it. Don't worry" Ryan said as I gave him a guilty smile.

"We're sorry Diana and Marcullo. I promise I'll listen to you from now on" Marcullo said giving a sweet smile to the tired two people.

"I promise too" Bella smiled causing Diana and Ryan to smile.

"Thank you kiddos" Ryan smiled spreading his arms calling them for hug. The two cute little kids didn't waste a second and ran to him, hugging him.

I looked at Diana sending her a smile as she walked closer to me.

"Are you going to Amara's engagement?" She asked. I took a deep breathe shaking my head.

"I don't want to" I whispered moving my eyes to the babies playing with Ryan. They're cute giggles filled the hall room.

"Are you sure? Amara will be hurt"

"I-"

"You've stopped contacting with her after Mason left us. But she always ask about you and the kids. She really miss you and she will be really happy if you go there"

"I don't know.. " I sighed.

"Diana can you come here for a min?" Mom called out from the door. I knew what she was about to discuss. Diana gave me a reassuring smile and walk past me to my mom. I took a deep breathe making my way towards my bedroom. The room filled with Mason's memories, love. As soon as I made it to the room I laid down on the bed closing my eyes as tears rolled down my cheeks.

It hurts. It hurts so bad. Why did you leave me Mason. Why did you leave me when I need you the most. Why?

I grab the photo frame of me and Mason, from the near table. I closed my eyes kissing the photo, crying silently.

"Why did you leave me? I need you Mason. Please come back" I whispered crying hard hugging photo frame. "Our babies need you. Please come back"

"Please come back" I whispered.
