Β "I think I'm going to go sit with my friends rather than sit in the Minister's Box. Is that okay with you Dad?" I asked as we approached the Minister's Box.

"Sure Hazel. Stay safe." He told me.

"I will. Coming Jay?" I asked peering over at James.

"Nah, I'm good here." He said. Selfish little git! Choosing this over his friends.

I sighed climbed more stairs than I even thought possible in an architectural structure. I eventually found the Weasley's, Diggory's, Harry, and Hermione and continued climbing with them.

"Blimey Dad, how far up ARE we?" Ron asked looking down the railing.

"Well put it this way, if it rains... you'll be the first to know,." said a vile voice. Lucius Malfoy. I turned my attention towards him and .... Whoa. Draco changed A LOT. He was much taller and his face was so mature. Kinda hot even. Stop it Hazel. You're over Draco. It's time to move on...

"Father and I are in the Minister's Box, by personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge himself." Draco bragged.

"Don't boast Draco," Lucius said hitting Draco in the gut with his walking stick. "There's no need with these people. Except," Lucius paused and raised an eyebrow, turning to me. "Ms. Rosewood. Aren't you going to sit in the Minister's Box with us?"

I walked over to the railing, holding it, and looked down.

"I thought about it" I replied. "But I would much rather spend a momentous occasion like this one with my friends."

"I understand, but I simply must ask, what would your mother say if she knew you were attending Hogwarts rather than Beauxbatons Academy of Magic which, I believe, all of the females in her family has gone to for generations?"

I tightened my grip on the rail making my knuckles go white.

"You look so much like your mother, you would probably be the... most popular girl in school."

I am going to throttle you,Lucius! Bringing up my deceased mother is none of your concern. I leant over further and I felt the twins grabbing the loopholes in my jeans. I breathed in a shaky breath and said,

"I'm sorry Mr. Malfoy but I think it's a little too late to transfer schools this far into my studies. I must say you did have the option of changing my mind four years ago when I made my decision to go to Hogwarts."

"You do have a fair point. Do enjoy yourselves won't you? While you can." He said to the Weasley's but more directly Harry.

I watched as Draco and Lucius walked off still leaning over the edge with a tight grip on the rail. I was nearly shaking with fury. The twins pulled at my belt hoops. After what felt like an eternity of glaring, I let go of the rail. I turned around began to climb the stairs again glumly but it didn't take long before Fred and George started cracking jokes to make me feel better. The twins always knew how to make me smile.

. . .

We finally made it to the top and I decided to hop off Fred's shoulder. When I turned back into a human I started panting.

"Boy, that was hard right guys?" I asked. Everyone started to complain joyfully.

"Come on up, take your seats. I told you these seats would be worth waiting for." Mr. Weasley told us.

"Come on!" George yelled. Seven green and white figures flew through the air on their brooms leaving a colored trail behind them.

"It's the Irish!" Fred exclaimed. The boys started showing their favorite players. The Irish flew up and let go of fireworks that created A glittering leprechaun that started dancing. Everyone cheered . Seven red figures flew in this time.Β

"Here come the Bulgarians!"

One of them performed a stunt on his broom.Β When they flew past a bunch of stands, they showed the face of one of the players."Who's that?" Ginny asked.

"That Gin, is the best seeker in the entire world, Viktor Krum!" Viktor appeared on the large screen and the crowd began to chant 'Krum, Krum, Krum'.

"Krum!!!" We all shouted. Viktor stopped his broom and shook a fist to the crowd.

"Good evening! As Minister of Magic, it gives me great pleasure to welcome each and every one of you to the final of the 422nd Quidditch World Cup. Let the match, begin!" The Minister shouted, thrusting his wand forwards to produce a ball of light forwards. And the game began.

. . .

I was PISSED. The Irish won! Viktor caught the snitch and all, but they still lost! ARRRG. It was 170 to 160 Ireland! We all started celebrating in the Weasley's tent playing music, dancing, and singing, "Krum, Krum, Krum, Krum..." Everyone started screaming outside. I guess they got their Irish pride on. Ron jumped onto a tent pole.

"There's no one like Krum! He's like a bird the way he rides the wind." The twins began to make a bird impression around him. "He's more than an athlete, he's an artist."

I gasped dramatically and walked over to Ron, clasping my hands together.

"I think you're in love Ron!"

"Shut up you." he scowled

"Viktor I love you!" George sang.

"Viktor I do!" Fred continued.

Harry and I joined in. "When we're apart my heart beats only for youuu!"

George and Ron started to pillow fight.Β

There were more screams outside.

"Sounds like the Irish have got their pride on," Fred said.

"Stop! Stop it!" Mr. Weasley yelled stopping Ron and George from their mini fight. "It's not the Irish. We've gotta get out of here. Now." We raced out of the tent to see the place on fire, smoke billowing everywhere. "Get back to the portkey everybody, and stick together! Fred, George, Ginny is your responsibility!"

I raced off towards my tent I pushed passed people yelling

"DAD! JAMES!" I ran into something firm yet soft. A person. They touched my waist and I felt that rush of energy course through my veins. I looked up. Cedric.Β

"Hazel!" he shouted over the commotion. A blast like a bomb sounded from the campsite, and a flash of green light momentarily lit the trees around us.

"Come on," I said, grabbing Cedric's hand and yanking him further into the chaos.Β

Hand in hand we avoided getting trampled as we ran back to the portkey. When we arrived everyone else was already there.Β

"Cedric!" Mr. Diggory ran up and hugged his son. Cedric's eyes were wide and full of shock. "Thank you Hazel dear. I thought I lost him." Mr. Diggory gave me a firm hug.

"No problem," I said patting his back. We pulled back as Ron and Hermione came.

"We can't find Harry anywhere!! He got lost in the crowd!" Hermione cried. I looked around the screaming was gone, the fire was out but the smoke was still flying.

"We have to go look for him!" Ron exclaimed. Ron, Hermione, I darted off.Β  As we ran, something appeared in the sky. It was a skull with a snake coming out oh it's mouth. The Dark Mark. HIS mark. I faltered in running and almost fell over. I regained my balance and kept on running. Then I spotted Harry running off.

"HARRY!" Hermione screamed. We dashed over to him.Β

"Been looking for you for ages. Thought we lost you then." Ron said. Harry seemed wary. We all looked into the sky at The Mark.

"What is THAT?" Harry's hand went back up to his forehead.

Suddenly, mist appeared from around all of us and stunning spells were shot at us. We all ducked in fear.

"Stop! That's my son." I heard someone scream. Mr. Weasley came running at us with my father following behind.

"Ron, Harry, Hermione, Hazel are you alright?" Mr. Weasley asked. I nodded and ran into my father's arms.

"Which of you conjured it?" A guy with a hat and a weird mustache said to us pointing his wand.

"Crouch! You can't possibly-" My father started.

"Do not lie! You have been discovered at the scene of the crime!" The man shrieked.

"Crime?" Harry asked.

"Barty, they're just kids," Mr. Weasley said.

"What crime?" Harry asked again.

"Harry, it's the Dark Mark it's HIS mark," I told him.

"Voldemort. Those people tonight, in the masks, they're his too aren't they? They're his followers." Harry concluded.

"Death Eaters." My father confirmed.

"Follow me." The Crouch guy said to his men.

"There was a man. Before. There." Harry said pointing to towards where the "man" was.

"All of you, this way." Crouch ignored.

"A man Harry? Who?" Mr. Weasley asked.

"I dunno. I didn't see his face," he replied.

I held my father closer. But why would someone conjure the Dark Mark?
