I felt like it was yesterday when I gave birth to my little baby Levi, when Tom said that morning that he was going to be just like him. He ended up being just like him, a great guy with a unique talent on the guitar.

My baby boy, who had just turned 12 and went to Disneyland was now going to university and I couldn't be more emotional about.
Soon I found out he had a girlfriend, specifically the daughter's neighbour. They've been together since Levi was 13, at first I couldn't believe Tom knew before me.

We were now at the airport waiting for him to take his flight, all the time I would kiss my sons cheek and hug him. After all these years of him being with me I didn't want to let him go.

"I'll miss you so much, Levi." I said feeling my eyes get teary

"I'll miss you too mom, please don't cry." He said with a smile while hugging me again.

"I just can't control it, you're my little baby." I said as I caressed his face softly. Behind me I heard a small scoff

"You mean our little baby, love." Tom said crossing his arms

"Tom shut up let me have my moment." I said as I rolled my eyes

I heard Tom and Levi laugh at my answer, they had the same exact beautiful laugh.

Tom soon walked closer to Levi and I, he hugged him tightly. Even though he didn't say it I knew he didn't want him to go.

"Just promise me you'll take care of yourself." Tom said to our son

"I will dad, I always do." He answered with a smile

As we waited for his flight to arrive I hold his hand tightly, he looked at me and smiled softly.

"I love you mom-" he got interrupted by some shoes clapping quickly on the floor

"I'm here! I'm here don't leave!" Someone said, and as he approached semi-running I could tell it was my husbands twin brother, Bill.

"My god, Los Angeles traffic is horrific!" He said wiping away some sweat from his forehead

The three of us laughed as Bill tried to catch his breath

"I never had a good condition, I know." He said smiling still trying to catch his breath

"Uncle Macky, I thought you weren't going to show up." Levi told him as he gave him a hug

"Well be grateful I did, I came running all the way up the stairs. I almost fainted!" He said as we three chuckled

As I was hearing the conversation between my son and Bill I felt an arm wrap around my waist. I turned to look at Tom and I smiled.

"Time has passed really fast...one day you're cleaning his butt and the other you're cleaning your tears not wanting to let him go." He said as he pulled me closer to him

I rested my head on his shoulder

"I know, it's just so sad." I said trying not to tear up

"I think we should have another baby. Why don't we have another baby?" Tom said, that caught me off guard. I turned to look at him and frowned

"You know there's this thing call menopause? Well Google it and you'll answer yourself." I said as I chuckled, he just rolled his eyes also chuckling

"Flight 820, your flight is about to take off." A voice sound through the speakers. It was time.

Levi turned to look at the three of us, his eyes started to get teary.

"I don't wanna go." He said as a tear felt down his cheek

"You have to, you need to follow your dreams and that university is one of yours." I said as I grabbed him by his shoulders

"But I'm gonna miss all of you." He said as he look at the three of us in turns

"I know, baby. I know, but you'll have Layla there, you won't be completely alone." I said "And we'll always call you, everyday." I ended giving him a tight hug, both of us were now crying in each others shoulder

"I love you, okay? Don't forget that." I said in his ear before breaking the hug

He wiped his tears and turned to look at Bill, the tears he had cleaned were now back.

"Uncle Macky." He said as Bill hugged him

"I'm gonna miss you a lot, you're my favourite nephew." He said as his eyes started to cry

"That's because I'm your only nephew." Levi said as he chuckled through the tears

"You're right but you're still my favourite." He said as he pulled off the hug

Levi smiled and turned around to look at Tom.

"Dad." He said feeling more tears go down his cheek. Tom hugged him.

"I love you buddy, no matter where you are I'll always be with you." He said before pulling off the hug

Tom placed his hand inside his pocket looking for something, the three of us looked intrigued. After a seconds we saw he took a pack of skittles.

"Remember that time you told me your dignity valued more than just a pack of skittles?" Tom asked as Levi nod

"Well, I guess it does values that since we're all crying in the middle of the airport." Tom said as we all laughed wiping away our tears

"Here, take it with you, and every time you see a pack of skittles you'll remember me." He said handing him the candy

Levi took the candy and placed it in his hand bag.

"Flight 820, your flight is about to take off." The voice said again

"I think I must go inside the airplane now." Levi said as he took his suitcase

We all hugged Levi for the last time before he started to walk toward the boarding area.

He looked back at us and waved saying goodbye, the three of us did the same and he finally entered to the plane.

Tom pulled me closer to him with his arm

"He'll always be our little baby." He said and with that Levi was finally going to his dreamed university.
