today was the day, well not the day but I was asking solána to go to homecoming with me.

I had kavani and kavey help me, even thought I literally can not stand them; they're so god damn picky, they didn't want pink flowers it had to be roses.

and I picked out a ring for solána nothing serious, just a ring from pandora it didn't have much meaning behind it I just thought she'd like it.

"david, you can just buy a girl a ring is it like a promise ring or in love type shit" kavani said as they left the pandora store; dd mugged her cause they were criticizing his decisions all day.

"kavani, actually shut the fuck up bro" dd said fiddling with the handle of the pandora bag. "mmcht, I'm just saying what are you going to say when you give it to her" kavani said causing kavey to laugh.

"solána will you marry me, even though we aren't together?" kavey joked causing dd to stop walking. "y'all chattin worda bro" dd said.

kavey and kavani stopped laughing seeing how irritated the boy was getting, they finally made it to zales.

"what color jewelry does she wear?" dd said walking over to the necklace station. "mainly silver" vani said walking beside dd.

"you think she'll like this one?" dd says holding up a silver necklace with a heart ribbon. "like? she going to love it, but her name isn't ashley" kavani said reading the name of the necklace.

dd deadpanned the girl, looking at her like she has three heads "no shit, it's going to say hers it going to be personalized" dd said walking to the front desk.

dd gave the women the necklace he'd like solána name placed onto, and she gave him a 3 to 4 hour wait; meaning he'd have to come back to the mall later.

"Igh, so how we going to plan this?" kavani says sitting down on the side wall. as if she didn't hear the plan a thousand times.

"Igh, y'all are going to go inside then be like ooh let's go to the park, then I'm going to have a box of roses and shii on the pinic table them when she turns around I'll have another rose and the ring" dd says looking at the girls.

kavani shook her head before dusting herself off while they walked to the front of the girls door, they knocked before her mother answered

causing dd to get back into his sisters car as she drove him to the park, he told ddot and notti to meet them there because what kavani and kavey didn't know is they were getting asked too.

"worda bro there going to be shocked" ddot says opening the box dd placed in the picnic table and stealing a hershey kiss. "on bro" notti said sitting beside him.

"it's mad brick out hea" dd said sitting on the opposite side of the picnic table, he looked down rubbing his hands together to contain his warmth.

"for real, they need to hurry up before my food gets cold" ddot says looking at the Chinese food he layed on the picnic table.

dds phone lights up, a message from kavani '𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘸 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺" dd read the message out loud causing the boys all to run behind the building from the opposite of the picnic table.

kavani and kavey shared a look "we uh are making tiktoks" kavey said, "it's a food truck there" kavani said causing solána to quirk an eyebrow at them in confusion

"tch, what? y'all can't lie for shit what's really up" solána said stopping and looking at her bestfriends.

"okay okay, we just wanted to come and remake memories remember when we all met at the park in preschool?" kavey said, obviously saving there lies.

solána shook her head "in the damn cold though?" she said before continuing to walk, as the other two trailed behind

they finally made it to the park, kavani motioned the group to the picnic table a box being in the middle of it "what's this?" kavani said trying to sound confused.

"a box, duh" solána says before sitting down and examining the box "nigga just open it" kavey said to solána as the girl lift the lid of the box

solána face changed, she was shocked , confused and better yet bewildered she looked around infront of her not seeing anything "hoco" she read out loud before hearing resulting behind her causing all the girls to turn around

her heart dropped as she seen dd holding a rose and a cute little decorative bag and notti holding to baskets of items filled with stuff, and ddot holding a sign.

solána felt her eyes tearing up as she ran up to dd wrapping her arms around the boy shaking her head yes as she was interlocked with him.

kavey and kavani faces lit up, realizing that this wasn't just for solána they immediately met with there significant others obviously saying yes to the proposal
because it wouldn't be the chipettes without the chipmunks.

"solána" david said pulling them aside from the group as  the others received there baskets. "hm?" solána said looking at the boy.

dd looked down at solána as she contained the eye contact, he reached in his pocket and pulled out a box solánas eyes lit up.

"I know I should probably wait, until we're under sparking lights and rose pedals everywhere some corny shit like that, but it just feels right" dd said handing the girl the box.

she opens it see a a silver heart ring with a note '𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮" before solána could answer ; dd started speaking

"but not just for one night, solána will you be my girlfriend" dd said looking down at the girl; solána closes to ring box and reached up to dd and planted a kiss on his lips; his face started heating up.

"yes dd, yes to everything" she said as she got pulled into a hug, dd opened the box from the girls hand and grabbed her hand as he slid the ring on her finger

they walked back to the group, and continued sharing the moment with there friends; something they'd hope could last forever.
