KILLER IN THE CITY (1)

The air inside Endeavor's office feels suffocating the moment he arrives. His domineering presence isn't helping either. You slightly glance at Todoroki standing in attention, eyes glaring up to the Pro Hero without any hesitation.

Fortunately enough, your little make out session with Todoroki ended before Endeavor caught you both fooling inside his office. However, Endeavor doesn't miss the patch on Todoroki's neck and narrows his eyes on it as if analyzing what could be behind it. You nervously swallow your spit and silently pray he doesn't pry about it.

"The audacity of you coming in late when you have interns waiting," Todoroki said with dissatisfaction. You discreetly elbow him to reprimand his words but he doesn't show any remorse.

However, Endeavor is already used to hearing Todoroki talking rudely so he ignores it and decides to shift the topic instead. "What happened to your neck?" He questioned with his arms crossed. Endeavor slightly glances at you and back to his son with a hint of suspicion.

"None of your business."

Todoroki answered rudely as usual, it didn't surprise you anymore. The older Todoroki shifts his eyes on you as if he's waiting for you to explain, but you only equally stare back at him innocently to fool him into thinking you didn't have anything to do with his son.

A phone call breaks the silence, alerting you and Todoroki. The Pro Hero answers it and listens in silence while you watch Endeavor attentively. After a few seconds, the call ends without much of a word from the adult.

"Go change into your Hero costume," Endeavor ordered sternly. "We're going to Hosu City to work."

"Hosu City? Why?" Todoroki asked.

"Do you have any problems with it?" Endeavor replied, looking down at his son with his usual glare.

"No," the boy answered curtly before turning to look at you. "We can change our clothes in my room," he informed as he takes your hand before dragging you out of Endeavor's office without a care.

You don't protest and allow him to drag you out, but you look behind to watch Endeavor's reaction. He's still wearing that expression as if he has dung under his nose, and his cold eyes follows you both. "Y/n is assigned to a different room," he said and crossed his arms. "It's next to yours. I expect you both not to fool around."

The door to his office closes with a loud bang. Todoroki guides you to your assigned room without a word. He watches you in silence once you have opened the door, his expectant eyes are already waiting for you to invite him in. His hidden intention is clear as day.

"Endeavor said no fooling around," you teased, booping his nose.

"I only.. want to look at your room," he murmured quietly. "I'm not fooling around."

"Uh huh. Well, if you wanna look then you can come and visit me tonight," you winked, laughing when his whole face and ears turns bright red. "Who knows, maybe we could do more than making out," you added.

Todoroki frowns but you see him avoid his eyes in embarrassment. "Don't tease me, Y/n," he warned, but you only laugh at his words.

"You changed your Hero costume?" you asked in surprise once you saw Todoroki emerge with a different look. He's now sporting a dark blue jacket with elbow-length sleeves, its collar high and joined in the center by a gray neckpiece, baggy pants of the same color, a metal-plated combat vest and white boots. Some of the details are also closely similar to yours, enough to say that you're wearing couple outfits.

"It's the design we came up together before, but I changed a few minor details," Todoroki answered. "How is it?"

"Better than the last at least!" you exclaimed as you bury the image of him with his whack ass first hero costume in the back of your mind. He looks more like a proper hero-in-training now and not some evil looking being with his bright red eye that came with his first costume. "This suits you more!"

"Thank you," Todoroki subtly smiles, pleased that you like how his costume turned out. If he was born a dog, he would be wagging his tail from that compliment. "You also suit yours," he added.

"You like it on me?" you strike a sexy pose in front of him with a smirk, accentuating your most flattering curves. "What do you think?"

Todoroki nods in agreement, "I like it." He makes a step closer, leaning close to your face, heterochromatic eyes staring at yours intently. "I would like it off of you as well."

You playfully smirk at his reply and bite your lip as you pull him closer by his belt, his hands automatically finding themselves holding your hips. "That can be arranged. When do you want it pretty boy?" You whispered sensuously in his ear, earning a shiver down his spine.

He pauses and swallows thickly. Todoroki breathes slow and deep as he pulls you closer to his body, making your chest press against his. You loop your arms around his neck to bring his face closer to yours, close enough that you can smell his minty breath.

"Everyday," he whispered.

Although the car ride to Hosu City is dead silent, you drown the silence with the loud blast of music through your headset. You watch the tall buildings and skyscrapers, cars, and people disappear as the car accelerates. There's nothing out of place or worth looking at, so the 2 hour drive to the city is already making you bored.

You turn to look at Todoroki sitting beside you who's busy watching something in his phone. It might be unnoticeable because of Todoroki's eternal poker face, but you can tell he's in a good mood. Endeavor seem to notice it too so he doesn't bother striking a conversation with him.

"Why are we going to Hosu City, sir?" you suddenly questioned Endeavor as you pluck out your headset. Although you worded it more politely, you're basically asking what Todoroki questioned before. The only difference it would make is whether Endeavor answers it properly this time.

He looks at you through the rearview mirror before moving his eyes somewhere when he locks eyes with his son who's glaring at him. "I received a request regarding the Hero Killer being spotted in the city. He recently crippled a Pro Hero and forced him to retire. He is probably hunting for his next victim," he answered. "Wasn't he a relative of your classmate, Shotō?"

You haven't heard any news about it so you turn to Todoroki for an answer. "Iida," he answered, turning to look at your reaction. You don't give him any significant reaction though, but you definitely feel bad about what happened. "Iida is also interning in Hosu City so we might run into him."

You remember reading a news article about the Hero Killer during the Sports Festival so you kind of expected that you might encounter him sooner or later. Instead of feeling nervous about it, you feel excitement coursing through your veins and your Quirk is obviously reacting to it. It's been a while since you've fought a villain, so you're actually hoping that you run into Stain sooner.

After having a quick lunch, patrolling and subduing villains with Endeavor for hours, you're nearly losing hope running into Stain. There are no signs of him as if he's undoubtedly covering up his tracks. However, criminals often return to the crime scene so there's still a chance, although slim.

Walking around the city and stopping villains are definitely not your cup of tea. You didn't enjoy it one bit, but you're grateful to have learned a thing or two from Endeavor. In contrast, Todoroki actually enjoys subduing villains and helping civilians despite his poker face. He even got a few school girls admiring him because of his handsome face.

Just as the day is almost nearing to its end, ear piercing screams and cries takes your attention. The three of you quickly rush to the scene of the crime. Some buildings have already collapsed and fire was already spreading quickly. Several Pro Heroes also rush to the scene to help civilians evacuate and put out the fire along with Todoroki, but you're busy looking at Endeavor who just blasted a Nomu with ease.

"A Nomu?" you asked yourself, confused with how a Nomu suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Is the League of Villains here too?

"Papa! Where..hic! are you?!" A crying child attracts your attention. The small boy, around 5 years old was running away alone from the chaos, fat tears staining his plump cheeks. The civilians are too busy running away to care for him, some even bumping into him without looking back. "Papa!"

The pitiful scene right in front of you tugs your heartstrings. Unable to endure it anymore, you rush towards him and scoop him right into your arms.

Alarmed with a stranger abducting him, he struggles from your hold, his cries even louder this time. "Hey! Don't cry!" you panicked as you look around. "I'm not a bad guy! I'm one of Endeavor's sidekicks!"

"But I don't like Endeavor!" he bawled.

"Uh, well, that's not my problem but let's get you to safety first," you answered as you follow where the majority of the people are running. Thankfully, the boy calms down quickly and you're able to hand him to a Pro Hero in the area who's in charge of assisting the civilians. "He's lost and he's looking for his dad," you briefly explained. You quickly leave when you see Todoroki running in the opposite direction.

"Todoroki!" you yelled, quickly following after him.

Todoroki looks behind him to see you running after him. "Wife!" You quickly catch up to him in no time, giving him a confused look but still following him regardless. He catches on and starts explaining the situation, "It's Midoriya, he's in Hosu City. He sent me a location without context and I think he's in trouble."

"Do you think he encountered Stain?" you questioned, trying to hide the growing excitement in your voice.

"Let's hope that's not the case."

You two round up in a dark alley just as you heard shouting from a familiar voice. Todoroki is quick to use his fire power to subdue the assailant who's ready to stab the victim on the floor. Upon closer look, you realize that the victim is actually Tenya Iida. Lying a few meters away from him is no other than your green haired, freckled classmate.

"Todoroki! Y/n!" Midoriya shouted in surprise and relief. "Why are you two here?"

"Why? That's my line," Todoroki replied. "Since you only sent your location information, I figured you might be in a pinch since you're not really one to send that for no reason."

"So this Ninja Turtle guy is the Hero Killer?" you mused. Stain didn't really notice you with Todoroki until you spoke. "Leave him to me!"

"No! Wait! He's dangerous!" Midoriya shouted but you ignore him and leap in front of Todoroki in attempt to land a close range attack. However, Todoroki beats you to it when he blasted another scorching fire at Stain's direction while using his ice to trap Stain from below. Unfortunately, his attack was too slow so Stain managed to jump out of the way.

"Don't be too reckless! He can paralyze you when he ingest your blood!"

"One after another.." Stain murmured, red eyes staring at yours in annoyance, but his eyes slightly widens as if he'd realized something. "Your eyes.. you've killed before."

Although he's struggling from being paralyze, Midoriya manages to look at you, waiting for you to deny Stain's claim. You don't answer though and you release your fire from below, catching Stain off guard and taking the opportunity to snag the wounded individual away from the villain.

However, Stain is a veteran fighter so he's quick to retaliate, almost wounding you with his katana if it weren't for Todoroki blocking the attack with ice.

"You must have some lose screws in your head to attack a bunch of children," you pointed out with an amused grin as you settled the wounded near Todoroki.

Another blast of fire from Todoroki makes Stain jump back to dodge, and he jumps right back to attack Todoroki with his katana. This time, you're quick enough to release a burst of fire at Stain, making him hiss from the heat, his badly tattered scarf catching on fire.

"You're not killing anyone," you declared. Fire burst out from the sole of your boots, aiding you into speeding in front of him for an attack. Stain dodges your right hook and quickly switches his katana with a dagger, swinging it by your shoulder. You swiftly dodge it and quickly retaliate with another burst of fire.

"Stop! I have to do it! That guy's mine!" Iida shouted with much difficulty, you really didn't pay much attention to him. You're just surprised that the normally disciplined and reserved classmate of yours had turned into someone with so much rage and hatred.

Ignoring who's close to him, Stain leaps toward the unguarded Todoroki and throws a dagger. Shotō barely dodges it and grazes his cheek. He quickly blocks Stain's katana with ice, making it fly to the air, but Stain's speed and combat skills overwhelms Todoroki that he fails to see that the villain is already in front of him.

Stain grabs Todoroki's collar, swiftly pulling him close to lick the oozing blood off with his tongue. Todoroki immediately releases a burst of flame and manages to prevent Stain from getting his blood.

"You perverted psycho!" You yelled and dancing blue flames erupts from the ground. He makes a big jump and throws several daggers in your direction, which you manage to dodge it by jumping to the wall.

Just as Stain was about to attack you again, Midoriya jumps in to land a powerful punch at Stain, making the villain crash to ground. You take that moment to fall back with Midoriya.

"He's fast," you commented, glancing at Midoriya for his input.

"Yeah, and his Quirk is dangerous too. Iida-kun was already paralyzed when I arrived, but his Quirk wore off faster to me," Midoriya answered.

"The effect of his Quirk is different depending on the blood type," Todoroki concluded. "I think our best option is to hold on by avoiding close combat until the pros get here."

Stain gets up sooner than you expected which starts to annoy you seeing that the small space isn't favorable for you and your classmates. Even if you're also good at close combat, your attacks doesn't land heavily compared to Midoriya.

There's also limited space to move about and once Stain gets ahold even a drop of blood from each of you, it's all over.

"I'll distract him, so you two support me from behind!" Midoriya said as he power up his Quirk, green lightning sparking around his body. He dashes forward to the villain swiftly, jumping from wall to wall, while you and Todoroki distract Stain with flames.

Despite the speed of Midoriya's Quirk, Stain manages to slash his leg with his katana, rendering Midoriya useless and immobilized once again. However, Stain leaves him untouched and goes for you and Todoroki instead.

"Midoriya!"

With perfect synergy, Todoroki uses his ice to create  ice spikes from the floor when Stain jumps and you release a burst of scorching flame just in time. He falls back into his original position while looking for ways to attack you and Todoroki.

"Stop it! He's going to kill you!" Iida shouted with tears in his eyes, still immobilized on the ground.

"If you want us to stop, then stand up!" Todoroki yelled as Stain jumps over the spikes with ease. "Look properly at what you want to be!"
