It's been exactly four years since I last saw everyone. I was coming back home and I was very excited about it. I couldn't wait to see David, he would be my husband soon, just the thought of him becoming my husband gave me butterflies. I pulled up in my driveway and went inside my house and saw my dad sitting on the couch watching TV and my mom making dinner. "Y/n!" My dad said excitedly when he saw me. I smiled and gave him a hug. I gave my mom a hug and she squeezed me tightly.

"So how was it?" She asked. "Longest four years of my life." I said. My parents chuckled and hugged me again. "David has been stopping by the last few days just to see if you had come home yet, you better go see him." My dad said. I smiled and nodded and left my stuff there and went to my car. I drove to David's house with a smile on my face. I looked at my left hand and saw the shiny ring he got me. I couldn't wait to see him.

Once I got there I knocked and the door opened. "Y/n? Y/n!" David said excitedly when he saw me. I giggled as he picked me up and hugged me tightly. "I've missed you so much." He said into my shoulder. "I've missed you too." I said. He looked into my eyes and gave me a kiss. I had forgotten how his lips felt on mine but it came right back to me once he kissed me. We pulled away and I looked at him. He looked more of like an adult now, his little chubby cheeks were gone, he had a very masculine jawline, his hair was longer and messy and not cut short like it was when I left.

"I'm so glad you're here baby." He said kissing my forehead gently. "Me too." I said with a smile. We went inside and sat down on the couch. "How was college without me? I bet it was terrible." He said. I giggled and shook my head. "College was amazing without you." I said. His jaw dropped and I laughed. "Wow, rude." He said. "I'm just kidding, I thought of you everyday." I said. He smiled and pecked my lips. "What about you?" I asked. "It was alright, four years has never felt so long." He said. I giggled and laid on his chest.

He held my hand and messed with my ring. "You're going to be my wife... that's so exciting." He said all giddy. I giggled and kissed his cheek softly. "I can't wait to become Mrs. Dobrik." I said to him. "Y/n Dobrik, has a nice ring to it don't you think?" He asked. I chuckled and thought about it, it did have a nice ring to it. "I can't wait!" I told him. "Me neither, but we have some planning to do." He said. I nodded and then closed my eyes. I listened to his heartbeat and it made me sleepy. "Long drive, huh?" He said. I nodded and he stroked my hair. He grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around us and I snuggled closer to him. "Sweet dreams baby." He whispered to me. I smiled and fell fast asleep in his arms.
