.......

Mayank didn't know what to feel....

Looking at his reflection in the mirror, dressed in authentic light pink coloured kurta paired with white pants. His hair was styled, a delicate pearl pendant adorning around his neck, his wrist was circled by an expensive watch.

"Kya faida itni mahengi ghadi ka... Jab insan ka waqt hi kharab chal raha ho" He whispered to himself, his fingers caressing his engagement ring.

The ring which was small in size but made a big dramatic change in Mayank's life. A change he never wanted to have in his life.... atleast not like this.

In an hour, he was going to get married to India's biggest businessman, Abhishek Sharma. This name holds a certain power which everyone wants to have. The mention of his name was enough to make everyone agitated.

Apart from being the holder of such powerful possession, he had a strong family background as well. He was the only son of Abhimanyu Sharma, who was a famous politician. His party was ruling in many states of India.

But, being rich wasn't Abhishek's only identity, it was one of them.... But not the only one. He did many charities, donation and many more social works.
He wasn't a spoiled rich brat.

And Mayank liked that about him.

The media may present him as a cold hearted man but for Mayank, he was everything but whatever the media portray him as.

Abhishek was there for him when his father went to coma after encountering a car accident. That time he got to see the real colour of his family, his uncles were ready to take the business and house. And it was not easy for Mayank to take care of his mother who became a living dead body and handle the business as well as the family drama.

And he's sure, he couldn't have done it if it wasn't for Abhishek. He stood as a pillar before him not letting those cold harsh wind get through him and hurt Mayank. It was as if Abhishek had taken a oath to protect Mayank with his life.

But, these weren't the only memories he had with Abhishek. Some were bad... But some were heartwarming too.

Visiting Mahavir Mandir with Mayank became a daily weekend plan for him, after the chaos his family caused. He needed a mental relief. And for him peace was a temple situated in Patna. That temple brings back all those happy moment he shared with his family in his childhood when he visited patna for the first time in his summer holidays.

When he decided to take a break and move to patna for a while. Abhishek followed him there as well, not caring if it may cause loss to his business.

Being in the presence of Mayank was much more precious for him.

By the mean time, Abhishek became an important person in Mayank's life. Day was passing by and by each passing day Abhishek was getting closer to a place in Mayank's heart which was hollow after the death of his ex boyfriend, Nehal.

Was Mayank really ready to move on?

He's scared of good things happening to him, because with those good things comes dreadful moments as well, latching onto them.

"Mayank, Bache tu tayar nahi hua kya" A voice interrupted the deep conversation he was having with himself.

"H-Ha Maa. Bas do minute" Mayank voice came out as a whisper. As he maintained his posture.

He turned around having a small forced smile. But, his eyes failed to hide the pain and it didn't go unnoticed by his mother as well.

She took slow steps toward him. Gently placing a hand on his shoulder, glancing at him with tear in her eyes which were close to fall. "Itna bada hogaya hai ki aab apne maa se baate chupane laga" By that, Mayank engulfed her in a bone crushing hug, breaking down into tears which he didn't know for how long he was holding.

His mother caressed his back in an assuring manner. Letting the tears fall which would eventually wash away all those thoughts he was troubling himself with.

After a long crying session, the duo found themselves on the bed. With Mayank's head on his mom's lap who was softly caressing his hair.

The comfortable silence was broken by his mom. "Acha ladka hai Abhi... Bahut khayal rakhega tera! Uske akho mai sacha wala pyaar dekha hai maine tere liye, tujhe apna rajkumaar bana ke rakhega vo" His mother said

"Itna hi pyaar karta hai to mujhe apse dur kyu le ja raha hai" Mayank huffed making his mother chuckle at his cuteness.

"Ek na ek din to tujhe mujhse dur jana hi tha na, Mayu. Or mai to bahut khus hu, sir ka dard chala jo jayega aaj" She let out a dramatic sigh.

"Jab mai chala jaunga na, tab meri yaad aayegi apko! Phir rote rote phone matt karna mujhe" Mayank detached himself from his mother's hold.

"Yaad? Mai to nikal jaungi apni dosto ke sath international trips par" She said and burst out in laughter and so did Mayank.

"Bua, Mayank tayar hu ki nahi abhi tak, Aap dono itni der se kar kya rahe ho" Ishan voice came into the room before he did. He gasped at the sight in front of him. "Mere bina hi emotional ho rahe ho? Abhi hi pura roo loge to vidai mai kya pani se kaam chaloge? Chalo barat aa gayi hai aab"

.......

Mayank walked toward the mandap with Ishan and Rachin on his side. He saw Abhishek present at the mandap already dressed in a kurta which matched Mayank's attire.

Soon he stood in front of the mandap, Abhi offered his hand which was taken by Mayank. He looked at Abhishek who already had his eyes focused on him ever since he came in the hall.

Abhishek had a blush adorning his face making Mayank to pass a small smile as well. "Aap bahut hi ache lag rahe ho.... Like.... Bahut... Bahut hi ache!"

Mayank cheeks got the brighter shades of red. And Abhi fall for him all over again.

Both of them sat down, and the Pandit Ji started to chant the mantras, after some times he ordered both of them to get up
"Chaliye aab phero ka vakat ho chuka hai"

(A/N- sorry guys, author ki SHADI nahi hui hai abhi. To pura too mai nahi hi likh rahi hu.....Kyu ki mujhe doctor ne mana kiya hai 2000 words se jayada update karne ko)

After all the rituals came to an end everyone gathered outside the house, Mayank was already seated inside the car with Abhishek.

He had tears rolling down his cheeks as the car started to leave the kishan Mansion.

He controlled the urge to look back in case he'll ugly cry in front of Abhi, which the other didn't minded at all.

He felt his hand being warped in a gentle hold, he averted his eyes back on his husband who had a small smile adorning his face.

Abhi brought the other's hand upto his lips, pressing light kisses on them. And looked back up with a soft smile.

"Apko pata hai na ki aap hamare pass roo sakte ho. Ham apko judge nahi karenge" Abhi said causing Mayank to burst in fit of crying.

Abhi rested Mayank's head on shoulder, stroking his back while his wife muffled cried on his sherwani.

"Aap bahut gande hai, Hame kyu le ja rahe hai hamari maa se dur. Vo akele kese rahengi aap bataiye. Unhe kisi chij ki jarurat ho or ham vaha nahi ho to" Mayank hit Abhi's back lightly and the other male chuckle.

Mayank pushed away Abhi looking at him with a slight glare and a pout adorning his face. Abhi returned his gaze with a fond look admiring the beauty in front of him.

"Aab apko hassi aa rahi hai. Yaha ham apni problem bata rahe hai or aap- jaiye hame apse baat nahi karni" Mayank huffed turning his back at the other who yet again laughed at his cuteness.

"Mayu, maa hamre sath reh lengi. Dekho aap ho gayi apki problem solve" Abhi said with a teasing smile.

"Kyu aap vaha nahi reh sakte kya?" Mayank raises his eyebrows and Abhi shrugged lightly.

"Hamne aisa kab kaha. Ham bhi to apke ghar reh hi sakte hai" Abhi said. Mayank snapped his head toward Abhi looking at him with a frown.

"Aapko ghar jamai bane mai koi dikkat nahi" Mayank asked and Abhi laughed again.

"Jaana, Ham apke liye kuch bhi baan jayenga. Agar apko maa ke pass rahana hai to... Ghar jamai hi sahi" Abhi said

"..... Aapna bilkul.... pagal hai. Haa!... Pagal hai aap" Mayank chuckled at his husband innocence.

Abhi pressed his lips together while nodding " Apke piche na Jaana...." Then he pulled Mayank a little closer. He whispered against his ears.

"Agar aap itna saj- dhaj ke aayenge... Vo bhi hamare liye! To pagal to ho hi jayenge na ham"

........

Soon they reached the Sharma mansion where everyone was waiting for them. Abhi opened the car door for Mayank offering his hand forward which Mayank took without wasting any second.

Mayank grip on Abhi tighten as anxiety build up in him. A wave of nervousness washed over him as he encountered all the people's.

He felt someone caressing his thumb and looked at Abhi who passed him a assuring snile. "Ham hai apke sath" He said.

"Akhir kaar tu bahu le aaya" Mrs. Sharma said cheerfully. She came forward with a puja thali in her hand.

"Chalo finally Bhabhi aa gayi. Apko pata hai, ye din bhar pass 'Hamre mayu aisa karte hai, hamre mayu aise hai' karte raha ta tha. Aap aap aa gaye ho. To aap hi suna iski saari baate" Rachin said causing everyone to laugh and Abhi turned the darkest shade of red.

Some were cheering for Abhi while others were cheering for mayank. The couple was seated the couch situated in the living room while the other surrounded them.

A big bowl containing milk and some rose petal was placed between them while both of then were busy finding the ring in it.

Well... Only Mayank was focused while Abhi was to occupied by ogling at Mayank. It wasn't his fault for sure. That cute pout was distracting him.

Abhi came out of his thought by a loud voice cheering for Mayank. Who's face lit up showing everyone the ring with a slight blush.

"Bhai kuch kar nahi to joru ka gulam ban ke raha na parega" Shubman said chuckling.

"Bhabhi ke liye to ye kuch bhi karde! Or rahi baar gulam ki to vo to ye phele se hai" Rachin said again whole room to echoed with laughter.

"Chalo phir se ring daal rahi hu, dekhte hai iss baar kon jita hai" Mrs. Sharma said dropping the ring in the bowl again.

Mayank dipped his hands in the bowl and taking the opportunity Abhi took Mayank's hand in his and as there milk covering their hands. No one can see Abhi's mischief.

Mayank held back a gasp eyes glaring at Abhi. While the other just passed a teasing smile. After a few minutes Abhi left his hand and taking out his own with the ring.

But he wished he wouldn't have done that. Mayank looked at him like a kicked puppy his eyes had little tears in them as well making Abhi to stop smiling.

"Oooohhh mera sher jit gaya. Aise hi ek baar or jit jaa" Shubman cheered for his brother and the look of hurt again crosssed Mayank's face.

The ring was dropped again and this time Abhi didn't tried to find it letting Mayank have it. And he smiled ear to ear when Mayank showed everyone the ring with a bright smile on his face.

"Hass kya raha hai beee. Haar gaya tu! Aab zindagi bhar gulam baan ke raha na"
Shubman exclaimed and Abhi passed him a small smile.

"Uski jit mai hi meri jit hai" Abhi said lovingly causing Shubman to groan.

..........

It was almost midnight. Everyone was asleep. The moon hung low in the sky with the company of bright stars. A figure stood in the balcony talking on his phone in a huss tone so he won't wake up his husband who was sleeping soundly.

"Sir, Mr Markande ki tabiyat din par din kharab hoti jaa rahi hai. Agar aap aise hi unhe high dose wali davai denge to sayad vo survive na kar paye" The voice said and Abhi just smirked.

"That's what I want doctor! Don't let him die just yet." Abhi chuckled darkly walking around the balcony.

"Par aab to apki shadi ho gayi na Mayank sir se! Aab inka suffer karna jaruri nahi hai na"

"That's none of your business. Do what I'm paying you for" Abhi said and hung up the call.

He sighed heavily before turning his steps toward his bed where his husband was sleeping. He laid next to him taking his soft and delicate hand placing wet kisses on them.

"Oh the things I have done for you, Cherie"

And it was true. He has done some dangerous things just to have the beautiful man in his embrace. It wasn't easy for him... but it was worth it.

"Aab aap hi batao Mayu. Agar uss din apke papa hamri baat maan jate Or chup chap apka hath hamare hath mai de dete to ye nobat hi nahi aati. Hamre pass or koi option bhi nahi tha Mayu. Vo apki shadi uss Nehal se kara rahe the... Ham ye kese hone dete. Aap to hamare hai na!
..... Par aab sab hamre mutabik chal raha hai! Aap bhi hamre ho gaye.... Nehal ka chapter bhi close ho gaya.... Or apke baba jinhone ye sab dekha tha... Vo to kuch bol hi nahi sakte...... Well, you sure caused me a quiet few problems. But it's all worth it.... You're worth it, Cheirรฉ"
