Childe coldly replied to you

" well I wanted to start of by saying what I said a few days ago, it sounded to harsh" you started off, Childe standing there with his arms crossed

" I wanted to say that I realised after everything that  happened I like-"

Before you could finished Kokomi arrived with boxes, " your reports..." you quietly murmured , not wanting Kokomi to hear the previous part of your conversation

Childe looked at you, a bit frustrated and confused before clicking his tongue quietly

" oh [y/n] and Childe! I'm just dropping off the boxes I hope you two have finished the documents" Kokomi smiled

Childe smiled back at her, grabbing your waist suddenly and pulling you next to him

" of course! Me and my love have already finished the student reports" Childe faked, even you could hear the disgust in his voice

" oh okayyy! Have fun, you guys are so adorable" Kokomi chimed, glad you two didn't have a fight of some sort before going

Childe sighed as the girl disappeared, his facade falling off his face before letting go of you

" I have to go" was all he said before leaving you

I didn't even get to finish what I wanted to say...was what you thought. Why did you say reports? That's so stupid! he probably thought you were serious which was why he left

You hit yourself in the head after ruining the perfect moment to 'talk '

" what happened to...you?"

Yae miko pointed at you up and down seeing you were distraught  as you got home

" I've just been thinking...I don't wanna talk about it" you faced away from the pinked haired women

" well either way, you need a change of clothes and mood, how about shopping?" Yae miko proposed her favourite hobby

" I don't think that will help" you groaned in your pillow

"...[y/n] you really need it, here's some money, go treat yourself...for your well-being" Yae miko placed the money on the table, a tint of concern on her face by looking at you

After some mere silence, Yae miko looked at you in defeat

" if you need any help, call me" Yae miko sighed, deciding you needed to be alone before walking out of your room

You looked at the money placed on your table, you were thinking of taking it but resisted and turned to the other side of your bed, thinking of what to do

" ma'am do you need any help?"

The cashier tried to assist you, " just browsing" you murmured as you looked at the clothes

After Yae left, you took in her words but gave her money back and went shopping without her

You were in causal clothes, although they looked more baggy than usual due to your tiredness

After searching for nothing apparently, you walked outside of the shop, walking to your next shop with no clear destination in mind

You walked pass a kid cafe before stopping at a teddy bear store

Something in it drew you attention as you admired the bears before you felt a light shove

You backed up a little, seeing a little boy had bumped into you

" I'm sorry!" He replied as you observed him more, he looked so familiar and before you could figure out who he was he did it before you

" [Y/N]?!? what are you doing here!"

" Teucer!!" Your tone changing and your lips turning into a grin before frowning quickly

" what are you doing here Teucer!?! Who is here with you" you quickly replied

Teucer smiled sheepishly, " I came with my older brother, he told me he was going to get me a teddy bear so when he wasn't looking I ran without him and here I am, the winner of our race" he explained

" I see you are competitive, but you shouldn't do that Teucer! Your brother cares a lot about you and wouldn't want you running away! Luckily you found me other wise some bad guy might of taken you" You lectured in the kindest tone possible making the boy nod in response

" come on, where was your brother before? Could you name me the store?" you asked as you held the boys hand, guiding him away from the store

" he was in this store!" Teucer pointed as you walked to a store not so far from the bear workshop

" I don't see him maybe-"

" Teucer!!" You heard a loud voice, quickly grabbing your attention

You and Teucer turned and there stood his older brother, Childe.

" where were you I was so worried!" Childe ran to Teucer hugging him, ignoring your gaze

" I was trying to beat you to the bear shop but I met [y/n]!" Teucer pointed at you making Childe look at you once more with a firm look

" Teucer, you know you shouldn't be running off like that! I had so many heart attacks!" Childe lectured before sighing at the boy

" luckily [y/n] was here" he replied before standing up and looking at you with a neutral expression

" thank you for getting Teucer [y/n]" Childe thanked making you replied with a "no worries"

There was some tension between you two that Teucer failed to notice, " brother can [y/n] join usss pleaseee!" Teucer turned to his brother pleading

Childe looked at the boy, knowing he couldn't resist his little brothers requests

"...if it's fine with her" Childe pointed out, although he didn't want to

"...you look fine without me" you replied, making a  smile before Teucer frowned and tugged at your arm

" please [y/n]!! I wanna go to the bear shop with you" he gave you eyes you couldn't refuse

" ..okay fine Teucer, for you" you replied laughing a little at the boy, his big eyes sparkling and rejoicing as you said that

" come on you two! Let's go!" Teucer without thinking grabbed both you and Childe's wrists and lead you back to the bear shop

" okay Teucer which one do you want to build?" Childe pointed at the ones displayed as he carried his little brother to get a better look

" I like the cyclops one!" Teucer pointed in Childe's arms

You looked at the two, something in your heart missing before dissolving out of your pondering

" good choice" you grabbed the instructions on how to make it

" ooo can I pull the lever!" Teucer pointed at the fluff machine

" of course you can! Just be careful now!" You patted the boys head, Childe's eyes softening at the sight of seeing you with his brother

Why do you make me feel this way?...Childe frowned as he placed Teucer down to go with you

Childe then walked up to you two as you helped Teucer playfully

" be careful" you laughed as Teucer almost slips, your arms ready to catch him, Childe quietly observing

After making the bear Childe went to pay as Teucer told you a made up story about his new toy

" his name is Mr cyclops and me and him are best friends! I even have my name here" he pointed, you trying your best not to sound unsurprised

" I'm sure you are" you replied before seeing a figure approach you two

" okay Teucer, now that you have your toy can we go home?" Childe snickered at his brother

" yes we can, can [y/n] come with us home!" Teucer made one more request

"....fine, hopefully [y/n] wouldn't mind" Childe averted your gaze, Teucer turning to you with a grin

" I wouldn't! Come on let's go! Sir" you smiled before giving Teucer your hand, him holding it as you stood up, the two of you jumping in excitement like children to Childe's home

You replied as you carried sleeping Teucer

" his sleeping already" You say almost to yourself as you walked with Childe at his doorstep

" he must of been tired" Childe quietly replied as he opened his home

As you enter the home, you could feel a lively atmosphere as if it was still Christmas as the place had a warm tone to it

" follow me" Childe requested as you walked quietly with him to a room labelled Teucer

As he opened the door you quietly placed Teucer on the bed and took off his shoes before tucking him in his bed

As you did Childe couldn't help but admire you, your kindness with kids it was enough to make him fall again

After you finished you passed Childe quietly making him snap out of his thoughts as you placed Teucers shoe on the rack

" where's your siblings and parents" you asked quietly as Childe slowly followed you to his doorstep that was near his living room

" Tonia had a competition, since Teucer was too young to attend, I looked after him, my family is with her" Childe pointed out as you slowly nodded, preparing to go outside

Your hand grasping the doorknob but stopping, your thoughts telling you to confess now you had the chance

Thinking about what your friends would say if they knew you turned to Childe

" before I go Childe I wanted to say I realise my actions...I'm sorry...I'm so sorry that I said all those words to you...the truth is I was so blind to see....I actually love you, more than Zhongli, please don't forgive me, I can't bare it" you managed to say before turning to the door, unlocking it

Before doing it the door closed once more before your gaze met the man closing the door

" [y/n]..."
