the café a little earlier
than expected so he
had to sit and wait❞

He ordered himself
the pastry Hyunjin
and Him were having
and quietly observed
the people sitting there

Seungmin was happier
than usual that day.
Maybe it's because he
thought Hyunjin and
him were growing closer

That's why Hyunjin
wanted to talk to him

He was curious as
to what Hyunjin had
been wanting to
vent about

If Seungmin would
be able to help,
maybe he'd start
liking him too

He even wore
the red lipstick that
actually belonged to Minho

He smiled to himself
as the thoughts of
a certain male
flooded his mind

Just then,
he walked in

Seungmin heart
immediately started
fluttering at the
sight of him

Hyunjin ordered
something himself
before proceeding
to sit with Seungmin

"I see you've ordered
the butterscotch pastry"

Hyunjin commented
as Seungmin chuckled
shyly

"Yeah...do you
want some?"

Seungmin offered,
handing him
a fork

"Why wouldn't I"

He replied, taking
a huge bite filling
his mouth completely
so that his cheeks were puffed

The two laughed,
Hyunjin being careful
as to not choke

The two talked for
a while before getting
to the point

"So...what did you
wanna talk about?"

Seungmin asked,
curiously

"Oh...um, it's
nothing much.
I just really need
to talk to someone.
I don't care if you can't
help but please
just listen"

Seungmin was touched
by this. No one ever
came for help to
Seungmin, he was
always the one
getting help

"I'd be happy
to help..."

Seungmin said,
smiling softly
to which Hyunjin
did the same

"So...it's about my..."

He was
interrupted

"Here's your
order, enjoy~"

The friendly waiter
lady just dropped his
drink and went

"...where
were you?"

Seungmin said
as he couldn't
handle the wait

"It's about my
boyfriend..."

Seungmins heart
shattered at the
sentence. The soft
smile he had been
holding fell from
his face

Nonetheless, he
asked Hyunjin
to continue

"He's been being
a real dick to me
since the past
few days"

Hyunjin said, gripping
his cup tightly between
his slender fingers

'then breakup with
him and date me'

"How?"

"He's been...drinking
too much and-and
using me"

Hyunjin explained
in a sad manner,
trying his best to
describe his situation

"Using you? How?"

Hyunjins grip tightened
around the cup that
could've crumpled
and spilled

Seungmin sighed
when he understood

He put his hand
on Hyunjins which
made him calm down

"Have you been
talking to him enough,
Spending time with him?"

Now that Hyunjin
thought about it,
he hadn't been

"No..."

"Maybe that's why
he's been getting drunk...
Talk to him ya'know"

Seungmin said,
trying his best to
not tear up

"Sort things out...
and tell him what's
on your mind without
snapping at him"

Hyunjin thought
for a moment then
nodded

"You're right...
I just need to
talk things out.
Thanks Seungmin..."

He smiled

The two hadn't
realised it but
their fingers were
intertwined

Hyunjin was the
first to let go
though

Seungmin was
still feeling
terrible

He so much wanted
to hug Hyunjin, be
able to hold him
and kiss him

But he
couldn't

His eyes filled
with tears which
meant he had to get
out as soon as possible

He pretended
to check his phone
and be shocked

"Oh...um, some
work...came up.
I need to go right now"

Seungmin said,
awkwardly while
getting up from his seat

"aaawww. I hope
we can talk more
sometime soon"

Hyunjin said,
pouting

"Yeah, see ya!"

And with that,
Seungmin ran
outside and all the
way back home

He wiped the
tears that were
steaming down
his face. He hated
how cold the breeze
felt against his face
because of the tears

He quickly closed
the door behind him,
pressing his back
against it. He
slowly sunk to
his knees

The brunette buried
his face in his hands
and let his sobs out
that he had been
suppressing

He didn't care if
Minho heard him.
He needed to let it all out

"Seungmin! How'd it g-
oh my god! What
happened?!"

Minho said, walking
into the living
finding the younger
in a complete mess

Seungmin only
started crying more
when Minho stated
the question

Seungmin looked up,
eyes full of tears

"He-He has a
boyfriend"
