Book 1 in the "Child's Play" series. After the walk on the canal and the assortment of love advices from his friends, Lloyd wonders if stepping out of his comfort zone will change things forever. Eyes on the prize, the Green Ninja invites the princess out to the city, aiming to strengthen their connection. All through the evening, Harumi faces complications as her shattered personality splits in two. She's stuck in a love-hate situation, battling with her inner voice and keeping herself off suspicion. The planned attack of the Sons of Garmadon grows near as the gullible ninja and princess unknowingly entangle themselves in the wicked game of love and trust. They embark on a carousel of falsehood, never reaching the true feelings of the other no matter how fast the ride moves.
