"Come on, you promised~" your dark brown haired friend implored, laying her head on both her hands that were laying on your desk.

You sighed as this has been going on ever since the bell dismissed every student as they all went to their own chosen lunch places.

You bring your right hand up to the same desk, resting your cheek on it while looking at Hu Tao who was right infront of you with that mischievous smile she always wore.

"I didn't think you'd actually remember it much less need the answers from my homework." you say to her as she subtly shaked her head at her spot.

"Ofcourse I would remember! I really need it right now so please~" she pleaded, innocently blinking at you with puppy dog eyes.

"Sorry Hu," you apologize, you felt bad that you'd back down on your word like this but you didn't want her to know that you haven't even started on the homework she wanted the answers on. When you had offered her that deal you hoped that she would want the answers from homework's you've already finished.

"Please..?" she begged further with a rather too much sweet tone which made the male sitting beside you get annoyed.

"Hu Tao they obviously don't have the answers," Xiao said who was busy scrolling on his phone. "Besides that's the only logical reason why they're refusing now out of all times."

You released your hand turning your head at the left, glaring at Xiao who noticed from his peripheral view but ignored it and continued looking at his phone. How the hell did he even know that?

"Ohh." Hu Tao spoke raising her head.

"Exactly what Xiao said, we all know he always helps them with their schoolworks~" someone snickered behind Hu Tao which caused her to giggle a bit.

You turn your head back to Hu Tao's direction to see Venti laying both his hands on her head with his own head in between it like the position Hu Tao was in earlier.

"What," you spoke now glaring at Venti who found amusement at your reaction.

"I mean he is telling the truth y'know." Hu Tao mumbled, her smile widening once she saw your face turn more into a frown.

Xiao clicked his tongue setting his phone done and slipping it inside his pocket, " I offer help to them not the other way you both idiots are thinking."

"And here come's their knight." Venti mumbled to Hu Tao who just chuckled clearly as amused as him.

Now you were absolutely thinking on why fate let them meet each other and even made them friends, "Just uh I'll make it up to you next time, Hu."

Hu Tao nodded but rather hesitantly which made you curious but it disappeared when Venti supposedly voiced out her thoughts with a grin, "There's no next time, it'll be more like never."

You gave him a deadpan look, showing that you were too tired to deal with him right now while Hu Tao just tried to stop her laughs by covering her mouth.

"Can you both shut up," Xiao spoke after being silent for a while. He seemed as annoyed as you, "If you have nothing to do besides annoying y/n then you should leave."

The both of them then looked at Xiao who just wore a bored expression, he clearly did not want to deal with two of the most energetic people in the school right now.

"Ehe, sorry Xiao~" Venti said putting out his tongue a little to tease the other male as Venti put all his weight on Hu Tao's head who didn't fail to notice his head getting heavier.

"Oi get off me, you're heavy! What have you been eating!?" Hu Tao whispered-complained to him who just closed his eyes smiling.

"Ehe~" he replied while Xiao just shaked his head mumbling 'these idiots'.

Wanting pay back for their tease earlier, "I thought both of you were very great friends? How could you both be great friends if you can't handle each other's weight?" you mischievously smiled crossing your arms.

Hu Tao stopped complaining, pouting along with Venti.

"We are true great friends," Hu Tao said. "We argue alot but we both know their all for jokes, isn't that what true friendship is~"

'Oh, revenge failed I guess'
You silently thought, accepting your defeat as Venti and Hu Tao giggled at your reaction.

"I said shut up.." Xiao muttered, slowly leaning on your shoulder which surprised you causing your body to flinch even though he did it slowly.

"Oya?~"

"Oho?~

The other two said, who was infront of both of you witnessing what was happening. They gave eye other a glance, definitely thinking of the same thing.

They were glad only the two of them had seen Xiao do this to you which means they can boast about it to the groupchat later and make the rest be jealous of them both.

They both tried to not squeal by covering their mouths but failed when a little high pitched squeal was heard which you ignored.

"Huh..?" you looked at Xiao letting your hands down as he had his head on your shoulder.

"Just...let me lay on your shoulder until break ends.." Xiao mumbled to you but the other two who was infront of both of you heard it as they were struck in their places.

You, who were starting to feel butterflies in your stomach because of the touch just replied with a quiet, "O-okay.."

Xiao just sighed letting himself rest there closing his eyes, glad that you were alright with it.

But in reality, were you?

No absolutely not, you were silently dying on the inside trying to keep your composure.

Both Venti and Hu Tao just chuckled and decided to leave you two alone but without them leaving with teasing looks on both of their faces which made the ever so flushing of your face higher.

Even thought they both like to tease you and Xiao, they always knew which is the right time and the wrong believe it or not.

You watched as the two friends disappeared out of sight silently wishing they would come back so you can ignore that Xiao was literally on your shoulder.

"You're tense," Xiao spoke up which shook you.

He lifted his head back up looking at you, "You should tell me if you're uncomfortable with me on your shoulder."

You saw how his face fell a bit when you looked back at him but afraid he'll see your blushing face you look the opposite way, "I'm not uncomfortable, it just uh... surprised me I guess.."

Xiao hummed, "Okay then.."

He then proceeded to lay on your shoulder once again closing his eyes trying to calm his fast beating heart hoping that you didn't see how his ears was slightly pink.

After trying to compose yourself you looked at Xiao's hair which was the only view you saw of him with this position you both were in. He slightly smelled like fresh qingxins and almond tofu, which you guessed because of him eating it almost 24/7 everyday, but he also slightly smelled like tea? though it was quite faint.

Just by this, your body unconsciously relaxed itself which Xiao noticed and smiled though hardly noticeable to how small it is.

You thought long and hard just finally deciding when you closed your eyes, slowly laying on his head which was on your shoulder.

Xiao, ofcourse didn't expect this so he immediately opened his eyes but didn't lift his head up.

"I'll wake you up when break ends..." you muttered opening your eyes scanning through the people outside walking by and talking to their friends.

He inhaled deeply, closing his eyes once again but not without saying a quiet 'okay' to you.

The atmosphere was quite relaxing which made Xiao fall asleep immediately. You felt how his breathing steadied and was slow so you assumed that he fell asleep.

You smiled softly as the blush on your face grew and the fluttering in your chest doubled. You chuckled a bit, bringing your free hand to his head and slowly caressed his hair.

"What are you doing to me..."
