Finale. πŸ’›πŸ¦‹β€οΈ

TaeHyung arrived at his hyung's place, first thing in the morning, as he had promised to.

NamJoon had called him the previous night, explaining how Jimin had appeared at their door (well, what's Jin's is also NamJoon's, so...) crying and wouldn't even tell them what happened.

Jin had asked him if he knew what was wrong but TaeHyung didn't. He didn't know. And because it was already late, they didn't let Tae go to their place alone at that time.

That's why he was at their door at 7 in the morning. NamJoon opened the door and they went into the kitchen where breakfast was already being prepared by Jin.

"Good morning, hyungs." He greeted. As he sat at the table with NamJoon.
After they both answered him and they all asked about each other's well being, Jin asked
"You really don't know what happened?"
"No, Hyung. I don't." TaeHyung replied with a sigh and Jin also sighed.

"He was all dressed up though. Do you know where he went?" It was NamJoon who asked, this time.

"Yeah. He was supposed to go see Yoongi hyung. He invited Jimin to the recording studio, saying he needed his help with something and that he should dress fancy." TaeHyung supplied.

"I swear if it was Yoongi who hurt my baby, I'll kill him. I don't care if he's my best friend." Jin threatened, before violently flipping the last pancake.

"Calm down, babe. I think we should call Yoongi." NamJoon said.
"Yeah. And he better have a good explanation." Jin said before turning off the stove. TaeHyung stood up to help him with the plates, as he started to serve dinner.

NamJoon got out his phone and as he was about to make a call, TaeHyung's phone started to ring, on the table, catching all their attentions.

It was Yoongi.
TaeHyung nodded for NamJoon to answer it, and he did

"Tae. Tae, is Jimin with you? Where are you guys?" He asked frantically. He sounded so distraught.

"Yoongi. What have you done to my baby?"
Jin shouted at Yoongi over the phone.

"Jin Hyung?" Yoongi said confused.
"Hyung. Is Tae with you? Is Minie there?" He sounded so desperate, it was heart breaking. But Jin wasn't ready to fall for that.

"Yoongi. I'm asking you why Jimin appeared at my doorstep last night, crying so bad. And then I find out you were the last person he went to see."

"No, Hyung. You don't understand. It was a misunderstanding. I swear-"
"I gave you a friendly warning, Min Yoongi. I told you not to hurt that boy. I told you. Now, misunderstanding or not, get your ass over here and make this right!" Jin shouted.

"Yes hyung. I'm coming over now, to explain everything." Yoongi said. He sounded a bit relieved.

Yoongi knew that he didn't do anything to hurt Jimin. Not intentionally. In fact, it was the opposite. He was trying to make the boy happy.

But he understood. He understood because he had been told about how fragile the boy still was, despite his efforts at being strong.

JungKook offered to drive him over to Jin's house. He couldn't let him drive himself in that state of mind, not when he could help. He didn't want his Hyung to get into an accident.

As they were leaving, Yoongi received a call from Hoseok. "Hyung. Have you heard from Jimin? He hasn't been answering my calls. I'm so worried."

"Look, Hobi, I'll let call you later. Don't worry. Just wait for my call or text."

Hoseok sighed into the phone. "Alright hyung. But please, explain to Jimin for me. I'm so sorry I messed things up."

"Okay. Later, Hobi."
On the way there, he kept thinking of what to, and how to explain himself to Jimin.

Immediately Jungkook pulled up in front of Jin's place, Yoongi was getting out of the car like he couldn't even wait for Jungkook to turn off the engine. Leaving Jungkook to come in after him.

He dashed inside and found NamJoon on the dining table, eating his breakfast.

"Where's he, Joon?" He asked.
"He's in the guest room. Tae and Jin are trying to get him to open the door and eat his breakfast." NamJoon explained.

Yoongi sighed. "Alright. I'll go and try to see him."

He got to the door to the room where TaeHyung and Jin stood, trying to talk Jimin into opening the door to at least eat his breakfast.

"Oh come on Chim. Please." TaeHyung was saying when he got there.

"What's the use? Don't worry about me though, I'm fine. I just need some time."

He could hear Jimin's voice, though a bit muffled. He was crying. He sounded so sad that Yoongi felt his heart shatter into a tiny million pieces. And he felt like he was about to cry too.

"Guys, let me try." He whispered, not trusting his voice not to break if he spoke any louder.

They both turned to look at him, before stepping back a bit to allow Yoongi to get closer.

"Jiminie." He called out gently. He could hear Jimin's sharp intake of breath. But the boy said nothing.

"Can I talk to him alone, please?" Yoongi asked, his eyes pleading.

After a moment of thinking, Jin sighed. "I'm giving you a chance, you better fix this." Jin whispered as he left. TaeHyung just gave him a sad look and nodded before following his brother.

"Hey, Minie.". Still no response.
"I don't even know what to say. This wasn't supposed to happen. Things weren't supposed to happen like this." He sighed loudly, rubbing his palm across his face with another defeated sigh.

"Look, whatever you heard, it was a misunderstanding. I promise you, Jimin."

"But you don't have to lie to me, hyung. It's alright. I'll be alright. It's okay if it's Hobi Hyung. I just really whished you hadn't deceived me. But it's okay, maybe I was-"

"Please shut up, Jimin and listen to me. It's you. You're the one I want. I swear to all that I hold dear. "

"But I heard you, hyung. I heard the words you said to him. About his smile and laughter. "

"That's the misunderstanding I'm talking about." Yoongi said.

There was a moment of silence, where Jimin thought that Yoongi had given up and wasn't going to try to talk to him anymore. Before he finished that thought, he heard sounds of musical instruments.

It took him a bit to process that Yoongi was playing him a song.
He knew that song. It was one he had played before, on one of their nights.

Look at the starts, and how they shine for you, and all the things you do, and it was all yellow...

He heard the voice of the singer.

"Remember the day we listened to this song together?" Yoongi asked and got no response. He didn't mind though. He continued talking.

I came along and wrote a song for you, and all the things you do, and it was called Yellow.

"Remember that line?" He asked not expecting an answer. "It was what inspired me. Everything you do, makes my heart flutter, Min. Your smile, your laugh, your giggle, the way you blink, the way you find beauty in simple things, even the way you chew, Minie. And when I heard that line, I knew what I had to do, to let you know how I feel about you. How much I feel for you. So, I wrote you a song, Minie."

" I invited you to the studio, so you'd listen to the song. Hobi was only there by coincidence. He came to pick up a CD for a choreo or whatnot. So, I asked him to come check out the song. I was so nervous and worried you wouldn't like it. Since Hobi's your friend who knows you well, he'd be able to tell if you'd like the song. I wanted you to be the first to hear it as a song, that's why I didn't play it, and was just reading the lyrics to him." Yoongi explained to him.

"Also, when Hobi blurted out that he liked me, I was so mad because I realized that you had heard and were running away. We tried to get to you, but you already left. When I went back, Hobi was still there. I was mad at him for ruining everything. But he explained himself to me. He said he liked me too, but he was already moving on. That he just wanted to tell me to get it off his chest. That he couldn't get in the way of you and I. He in fact mentioned that he was now with someone."

"I'm so sorry you had to go through all that misunderstanding, Min. I'm so sorry. All I wanted to do was let you know that I love you, Jiminie. I love you so much it drives me crazy.". At this point, Yoongi was crying. They both were.

After that, the song ended, and there was a moment of silence before Jimin threw the door open and ran into Yoongi's arms and Yoongi embraced him tightly, sighing in relief and content. The song had started playing again. It was on repeat.

"I'm so sorry Hyung. I should have given you the chance. I should have trusted you. I'm sorry Hyung."

"No, Jiminie. There's no need to apologize. It's alright. I love you so much." He said, still hugging him tightly.

"I love you too hyung. I doubted you, I'm sorry."

After they pulled away, they looked into each other's eyes. They were both huge messes. But Jimin looked the worst. It was obvious he had cried all night. His eyes and entire face were red and swollen. He still looked beautiful to Yoongi who wiped away his tears.

"You're so beautiful, Jiminie." He whispered but loud enough for Jimin to hear.
"May I kiss you?" He asked.
"Yes, hyung. Yes, please. And Yoongi kissed him. They kissed soft and sweet.

"I love you, Jiminie." Yoongi said again. Jimin giggled. "You love me." Jimin said, as if making sure he heard right.

"I don't think you get it, Minie. Kissing you feels like the best of all the good things combined, then doubled." Yoongi said, making Jimin laugh a little.
"Hyung, you're being such a dork right now."

"It's your fault. All I can ever think about while kissing you, is 'yellow'." He explained.
"Yellow?"
"Yes. Yellow. It's always Yellow. Everything you told me yellow felt like for you, is what the kisses we share feels like. It's like you showed me a glimpse of your Yellow. And now I want more of it."

"Hyung..." Jimin was speechless.

"I want all of you, Jimin. I want to share everything with you. Love, sadness, happiness, dreams, songs, everything.
Jimin was getting teary eyed. Yoongi was making his heart act up again. His heart was leaping. "Yoongi..."

"Would you share your Yellow with me, Park Jimin? Will you be mine? Will you take me as yours?" Yoongi asked.

"Yes, Hyung. Oh my God. Yes, a million times and over." Jimin shouted.

It was all yellow.

"I love you so much. My Minie." Yoongi declared, smiling.
"I love you too, Min Yoongi." Jimin smiled back. They leaned yet again into each other for another kiss.

You know I love you so,
you know I love you so oh.

THE END.

Song: Yellow, by Coldplay.

And that is the end of Yellow. πŸ₯Ί
I'll probably write an epilogue. I think.
If you notice any loose ends, please mention it in the comments, so that I'll do something about it in the epilogue.
Thank you.

It's so hard to say goodbye.
I hope you all enjoyed reading it, as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I'm starting a new Yoonmin book. I hope you check it out, and maybe also read my other work. It's Taekook. Titled Serendipity.

Thank you, so much for reading Yellow. πŸ’›
I love you. ❀️
