Hoseok sighed as he walked into his friend's ice cream place. He greeted the two boys at the counter, and one of them noticed that the sun wasn't really shining it seemed to be covered by dark clouds of worry or something of the sort. The other boy, busy preparing a mango yogurt for a customer.

"What's wrong, Hyung?" Yugyeom asked, concerned. He had become quite familiar with all of the boys, a part of the family.
"Nothing. I'm alright." The older boy responded, with a fake smile. But a flashlight couldn't really pass off as the sun, could it?
(Sorry. I just really feel the need to add all this cheese. πŸ˜‚πŸ’”)

"If you say so. Just take care of yourself."
"Thanks, Gyeomie. I'll go see Jin Hyung." Hobi said.

He went into Jin's small office.
The other was busy with some calculations and paperwork. Who knew a frozen yogurt and ice cream parlor needed paperwork, he thought, rhetorically.

"Hoseok-ah. Sit down. How are you?" Jin asked, looking up through the cute glasses, perched on the bridge of his nose.
"Hyung, I need to talk to you about something. But generally, I think I'm good."
"Okay. I'm almost done here.... Gimme some se-conds.... Aaaand I'm done! Okay, talk to hyung. What's bothering you?"

Hoseok sighed before he started.
"I need an advice for a friend." He tried to sound casual and unbothered.
"Okay..." Jin prompted, his voice laced with skepticism.
"What should this friend do, if he likes a friend, but thinks that the friend likes his friend? But this friend doesn't know for sure, but he doesn't want to hurt his friend whom he thinks the friend likes." He rushed out.

"Whoa, slow down." Jin said with a small confused laugh. Hoseok tried for an unsure smile, in response.
"If I understand anything from what you're saying, it's that you like someone that you think likes your friend."
"Hyung, you're getting it twisted. Pffftt, not me, a friend." Hoseok said, not so convincingly.

"Right." Jin deadpanned.Β  "Anyway, if this is what I think it is, I'm not getting involved. Go talk to your childhood friend yourself."
"Hyung, I.." "I swear to God, Hoseok." Jin gave him a threatening look.
"Fine." He resigned. "Good. Now I have more work to do. Go and eat a bowl of ice cream or something." Jin shooed him away, with a wave of his hand.

****************┐( ˘_˘)β”Œ****************

Yoongi was excited, as he left school to go home. He couldn't wait to meet up with Jimin. The plan was to meet up with Jimin at his place, then go out like they've done for the past three nights.

Tonight, Jimin was going to take Yoongi to the favorite street food place he had told him about, before. After which they would both wander around like they had done the previous night.

As he entered his room, he dropped his stuff and immediately reached for his phone to text the boy who lives rent free in his head.

Me:
I'm home now.

Minie πŸ’›πŸŒ»
Alright hyung.
Go freshen up.

Me:
Yeah.
I'll be out in five.

Minie πŸ’›πŸŒ»
Okay hyung. 🀭
Just take your time.

Me:
Ttyl. πŸ˜‰

He smiled to himself before dropping his phone and breezing to the bathroom for a quick but effective shower, (Whatever that means) humming a tune he made up, to himself.

After his shower, he got dressed in a pair of black denim trousers, a light grey t-shirt and a black jean jacket. Picked up his phone to updateΒ  'Minie' and tell him he was ready, picked his dark leather wallet, shoved it in his back pocket then picked his keys. He slid on his shoes and locked the door behind him as he left for Jimin's.

-

He rang the doorbell twice, before Jimin came out, looking all cute and adorable in his fuzzy, oversized yellow sweater and black jeans. They both smiled at each other with their hearts in their eyes.

"You both should just go. Stop standing there with those stupid smiles on your goofy faces. Ugh!" TaeHyung said as he appeared behind Jimin and earned a bonk on the head from Yoongi, and a shove back inside the house from Jimin.
"Spoilt brat!" Yoongi called after him, as he laughed and left them alone.

"Come on. Let's go." Yoongi said, reaching for one of Jimin's small hands and led him.
"Hyung, who's car is this?" Jimin asked with a small laugh. "Ah.. I borrowed it from Joon." He said shyly, rubbing at his nape.

"You're so cute." Jimin laughed.
"What?! No. You're the cute one here." Yoongi said with pinkish colored cheeks which did not go unnoticed by Jimin.
"Yeah, says the one who's blushing. You're so adorable." He continued to tease.
"Shut up and get into the car." He said, still flustered. Jimin just continued laughing, as he got in. The sound of which Yoongi wanted to record and listen to every night.

After filling themselves up with cheap fishcakes, kebabs and soda- among other junk- from the nice couple who owned the street food joint, (both of whom were already very familiar with Jimin, and even asked of TaeHyung) they were now in the borrowed car.

"What do you want to do next?" Yoongi asked. "Actually, there is something on my mind." Jimin bashfully answered and Yoongi was intrigued by how the boy could be slightly sassy and daring one second, and and then the next minute, he's a tiny baby, playing with his fingers in his large sweater paws.

"Tell me." He urged.
"Can we go to your place?" Jimin asked, looking up at Yoongi, through his long lashes.Β  Β  "Already? I didn't think you'd be ready for that already." Yoongi teased, wiggling his eyebrows.

"What are you even talking about now, Hyung! How could you even say that?!" Jimin sputtered, face completely flushed, at Yoongi's words, making him burst out laughing at the boy's indignation

"Ugh! Stop laughing, it's not funny. And you know that's not what I meant!" Jimin whined, hitting Yoongi lightly on the shoulder, with a pout on his face.
"Alright. I'm sorry, Jiminie. I know you didn't mean it like that. I just couldn't pass up that opportunity to tease you."

"Leammealone" Jimin said childishly, swatting his hand away, when Yoongi reached for him, making the older boy coo at the cuteness overload.

"You're so adorable, baby Minie. Aigoo. Want hyungie to kiss your pout away?" Yoongi said the second part in an uncharacteristically nasal voice that made both Jimin and himself burst out laughing.Β

"I'm never doing that again." Yoongi said.
"I wouldn't mind if you did though. It was cute." Jimin teased back. "Don't even." Yoongi fake glared.

After they got down from the high of their laughter, Yoongi started the car's engine.
"Okay, so as the young prince of Busan wishes. Let's go!"
"Aaaargh! Hyung, why are you being so cheesy?!" Jimin said, in between the fit of hysterics they had restarted, as they headed to Yoongi's.

I'm just realizing how short my chapters are.
Anyway, please accept this half assed nonsense of mine. I'll do better. I promise. Thank you for reading. I love you. πŸ’›
